NOTES ON USING THE
LEAD-FREE SOLDER
■NOTES FOR USERS
It is well known that lead-free solder has a higher melting
point and erodes metal(s) faster than conventional
eutectic solder. Due to this, lead-free solder can block
the nozzle of this gun and effect vacuum performance.
Regular cleaning should be carried out to ensure peak
performance.
■MAINTENANCE
1. After operation，be sure to clean the nozzle using a
cleaning pin.
2. If the cleaning pin can no longer be inserted into the
nozzle, please purchase a pin vise.
3. Replace the steel wool and filter regularly.
4. Replace the nozzle, if solder cannot be removed.

1．本器をよく理解してください。
操作マニュアルをよくお読みください。本器に関して、起こ
りうる危険と同様に用途、使用制限について、理解してく
ださい
２．危険な環境下でご使用にならないでください。
湿った場所、濡れた場所 又は雨にさらされる場所、（屋外
も含む）ではご使用にならないでください。
爆発の可能性のある場所でのご使用は絶対にさけてくだ
さい。 モータの火花、ヒータの熱が着火する原因になる可
能性があります。また、作業場は充分明るくしてください。
３．本器に子供、傍観者を近づけないでください。
傍観者に本器をさわらせないようにしてください。作業場所
から傍観者を遠ざけてください。
４．ご使用にならないときは、きちんと片付けてください。
ご使用にならないときは付属のキャリングケースに入れ、こ
どもの手の届かない場所
− 乾燥した、高い所、又はカ
ギがかかる所に保管してください。
５．正しい使い方をしてください。
本器はプリント基板上から部品を取り外すためにはんだを
除去する電気工具です。本器をこの目的以外にご使用に
ならないでください。例）
− 水やその他の液体の吸引
に使用する事などは絶対にしないでください。
６．作業に適した服装を着用してください。
長い髪は結んでください。服、髪が本器のノズルや他、熱
せられた部分に触れ焼けることがあります。
７．電源は交流１00V 50/60Hzに接続してください。
本器は精密に組み立てられたモーターを使用しています。
直流電源（ＤＣ）に接続して使用しないでください。
８．電源コードを酷使しないでください、また定期的に点
検してください。
電源コード部分をもって本器を運ばないでください。またコ
ンセントから抜くときには、コードを引っ張らないでください。
プラグをもってください。電源コードに熱、油、鋭利な角を
近づけないでください。電源コードにキズ、損傷等があ
る場合は火災・感電の危険がありますので、すぐに使
用を中止してください。
９．
安定性の悪いこて置き台はご使用にならないでください。
本器は平らな作業台へ寝かしたときに、ノズルが接しない
ように設計されています。必要があれば、換気性のよい、こ
て台をご使用ください。換気性が悪いこて台は本器のプラ
スチック部を溶かす場合があります。
推奨コテ台 MODEL : ST-76
１０． 温度調整ねじは注意して回してください。
温度調整ねじは 250℃と 450℃を超えて回さないでくださ
い。つまみが損傷します。
11. ノズルについて。
ノズルを取り外した状態でのご使用はヒータ、センサーの
損傷を引き起こします。 コンセントから抜いた後は自然の
空気中で冷ましてください。その他の方法では行わないで
ください。
− 例）ノズルを冷やすために水を振りかけた
り、かぶせたりは絶対しないでください。

吸取器の使用の際、はんだが飛散して目に入り、重大なけがにつながる可能性があります。吸取器を使用になる
前に必ずサイドシールド、又必要な場合は完全シールド付きの防護用ゴーグルまたは眼鏡を着用してください。
当社は眼鏡やサイドシールド付の防護用眼鏡着用の上に、ワイドビジョンの防護用マスクを使用されることをお
奨めします。通常の眼鏡は防護用ではありません。
警 告 : TP-100AS
TP-100AS は静電対策モデルです。感電防止及び静電対策のため、本器の電源プラグのアースーピンを必ず
接地してください。接地をしない場合、感電の危険があります。特に導電性材料を使用していますので、電源ラ
インとの接触で事故を起こす場合がありますのでご注意ください。

1. KNOW YOUR DESOLDERING GUN.
Read the owner's operation manual carefully. Learn its
applications and limitations as well as the specific potential
hazards related to this desoldering gun.
2. DON'T USE IN DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENTS.
Don't use desoldering gun in damp or wet locations or expose
it to rain, including outside. Never use it in an explosive
atmosphere. Normal sparking of the motor and heat from
heater could ignite fumes. Keep the work area well lit.
3. KEEP CHILDREN AND BYSTANDERS AWAY FROM THE
DESOLDERING GUN.
Do not let bystanders contact the desoldering gun. All
bystanders should be kept a safe distance from the work area.
4. PROPERLY STORE THE DESOLDERING GUN WHEN NOT IN USE.
When not in use, the desoldering gun should be stored in a
dry and high or locked-up place in the carrying case provided.
Keep out of reach of children.
5. USE FOR THE RIGHT JOB.
Your desoldering gun is an electrical tool used to remove
solder in order to free components from printed circuit boards.
Do not use the desoldering gun for any purpose not intended.
For example: the desoldering gun should never be used to
vacuum up water or similar liquids.
6. WEAR PROPER APPAREL AND SAFETY GLASSES.
Do not wear loose clothing such as a necktie. Tie up long hair.
Clothing or hair can burn by contacting the nozzle tip and other
heated parts of the desoldering gun.
7. CONNECT TO A CORRECT AC POWER SUPPLY.
(The Input Voltage is listed on the Name label of your
desoldering gun.)
Your desoldering gun has a precision built electric motor. Do
not operate this desoldering gun on direct current (DC).
8. DON'T ABUSE THE POWER CORD AND
INSPECT IT PERIODICALLY.
Never carry your desoldering gun by its power cord or yank
the power cord to disconnect it from the receptacle. Keep the
power cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Never use the desoldering gun if the power cord is damaged
as this may result in fire or electric shock.
9 USE A SUITABLE STAND.
Your desoldering gun is designed so that the nozzle tip does
not contact the surface if you lay it on a flat workbench. If a
stand is necessary, be sure to use a general soldering iron
stand that provides goot ventilation. Using a poorly ventilated
stand will melt the plastic parts of your desoldering gun. We
recommend goot MODEL : ST-76
10. TURN THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL SCREW WITH CARE.
Do not turn the temperature control screw past the 250˚C
(482˚F) and 450˚C (842˚F) temperature settings when setting
the nozzle tip temperature. This could result in the temperature
control screw breaking.
11. CONCERNING THE NOZZLE TIP.
Do not use your desoldering gun without the nozzle tip or the
heating element and temperature sensor will be damaged.
After unplugging, cool the nozzle in natural air. Never use any
other method to cool it down. For example: water should never
be poured or sprinkled on the nozzle to cool it down.

Do not attempt to operate this desoldering gun until you have read thoroughly and understand
completely all instructions, safety rules, etc., contained in this manual. Failure to comply may result in
accidents involving fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
The operation of your desoldering gun can result in splattering solder being thrown into your eyes,
which can result in severe eye damage. Before you use your desoldering gun, always wear safety
goggles or safety glasses with side shields or a full face shield when needed. We recommend using
a Wide Vision Safety Mask for use over eyeglasses or standard safety glasses with side shields.
Everyday eyeglasses have only impact-resistant lenses; they are NOT safety glasses.
WARNING : MODEL TP-100AS
The TP-100AS is an anti-static model. Be sure to properly ground the service station using a grounded
receptacle to prevent electric shocks and anti-static. If it is not properly grounded electric shock will
occur. As the service station uses conductive materials, please be careful not to touch any electrical
power source or a serious injury will result.

To prevent fire, keep desoldering gun away from flammable substances and materials
in the work area. Failure to do so could result in a serious accident.

To prevent serious burns, never touch the nozzle tip, heater pipe and spacer until they
cool down and never leave the cleaning pin inside the nozzle. Failure to follow this will
result in possible serious personal injury.

本体をこて台の付いたケースに置いてください。この
時、スペーサー部を M 型の金具にのせてください。

3. プラグを差し込んで約5分お待ちください。
Allow your desoldering gun to warm up for five minutes after plugging-in.
4. 除 去したい 部 品 のリード 線 にノズ ルをかぶせるようにあて てくだ さい 。 は ん だ
が 溶 けるま で 待 って、トリガ ー を 引 い て 除 去 してくださ い 。
Fit the nozzle tip over the leads of components to be removed. Wait
until the solder melts, then push the trigger for desoldering.
Push the trigger.
部品を取り除く場合はできるだけ低温で素早く行ってください。長い間基板を加熱すると、パターンが剥
がれ、部品損傷の原因となります。
The desoldering should be performed quickly and at the lowest tip temperature to
remove a part. This is because heating at a high temperature for a long time will tear
away the trace (printed pattern) from the PCB and / or cause damage to the parts.
注 意／ CAUTION
焼けこげる臭い、ヒータの異常加熱、プラスチック部分の変形が発生したときは、直ちにプラグを抜いて
ください。その後はご使用にならないで、goot サービス課まで返送ください。もしご使用をつづけられま
すと、重傷や損害が発生する可能性があります。
Unplug desoldering gun immediately if there is a burning smell, the heater overheats or
the plastic parts deform. Do not use desoldering gun again, but return it to your goot
distributor. Using such a desoldering gun could result in a fire and possible serious injury
or damage.

１秒以上トリガーを引き続けないでください。次にトリガーを引くまで、９秒以上待ってください。モータ−
がオーバーヒートする可能性があります。
Do not push the trigger for more than 1 second. Wait at least 9 seconds before pushing
the trigger again. Failure to do so could result in the motor over-heating.
注 意／ CAUTION
備考／ NOTE最初に電源を入れたときにいくらか煙がでますが、しばらくすると止まります。２回目以降の
ご使用の時には、出ません。
The first time the gun is used, smoke may escape from the nozzle tip. This should
not occur in subsequent use.

5-a. 操 作 中 に ノズ ル が 詰 まった 場 合 は 、クリーニ ングピ ンを 使 って、は
んだの固まりやフラックスを取り除いてください。
When the nozzle becomes blocked during operation, use
the cleaning pin to remove the collected solder and / or flux.

5-b. 作 業 終了後、クリーニングピンを３，４回出し入れしてください。そしてトリガーを一度 引いてください。この 作 業はノズル
の寿命を長くします。この後、本器のプラグを抜いてください。
After finishing the operation, insert and pull out the cleaning pin 3 or 4 times. Then push the trigger once. This
will extend the nozzle life. After that, unplug your desoldering gun.
5. はんだこてのこて先をきれいにするように、ノズルについたはん
だを湿らせたスポンジで取り除いてください。
Remove any solder scraps on the nozzle tip with a sponge
moistened with water the same way as you would clean a
soldering iron tip.
5. 操作方法
OPERATION
ノズ ル 内 を掃 除 するときはクリーニングピ ンのコイル 部 分をもってください。  クリーニングピ ンをノズ
ルに挿入したまま長時間放置しないでください。大変熱くなり、火傷をする可能性があります。
Be sure to hold the coil part of the cleaning pin when you clean inside the nozzle tip.
Do not leave the cleaning pin in the nozzle for a long period of time or it will become
very hot and may cause burns.

ースに 収 納 の 際 はノズ ル が 充 分 冷 えた事を 確 認してください 。 重 大なけが をする可 能 性 が あります。
Never touch the nozzle tip, heater pipe and spacer that generate very high
temperatures. Be sure that the nozzle has sufficiently cooled down before placing it in
the carrying case for storage. Failure to do so will result in possible serious personal
injury.

6. 収納は、こて台を取り外し、ノズル部を収納パイプに入れます。電源コードをケースに収納し、フタを閉じます。
Remove the stand and insert the nozzle part of desoldering gun in the protection tube. Put the power cord in
the case and close the cover.
収 納 直 後、収 納 パイプ は 高 温 になり、触 れるとヤケドします。絶 対に触らないでください。こて台
の使用中・使用後は金属部分が高温になり、触れるとヤケドします。収納の際はゴム台をつまん
で収 納してください 。
To avoid serious burns, never touch the protection tube surface just after
storage. It will become hot and stay that may for 30 minutes. Do not touch the
metal part of holder when placing it back in the case. It is very hot and may
cause burns.

1. スライドノブを後ろにひきカートリッジを外してください。 2. たまったはんだを頻繁に取り除いてください。
6. メンテナンス
MAINTENANCE
メンテナンスされるときは goot 純正部品をご使用ください。他の部品をお使いになると本器が故障する可能性が
あり危険です。
When doing maintenance use only genuine goot replacement parts. The use of any other parts
may create a hazard or cause damage to the desoldering gun.
注 意／ CAUTION
フィルターの交換作業は必ずプラグを抜き、ノズルが冷えたのを確認してから行ってください。
Before replacing filter, unplug desoldering gun and allow nozzle tip to cool down.

When removing collected solder from inside the cartridge, inspect the inside of the
cartridge. If the steel wool has become smaller and / or the filter is visible through the
steel wool, the steel wool should be replaced. Operation with only a small amount of
steel wool may clog the filter.

Remove the filter and/or steel wool inside the
cartridge by pushing it out from either end using
a screwdriver or similar tool and replace them. To
remove the felt B, inside the rear adapter, use a
pair of tweezers or similar tool and replace it.

4. フィルター交換後、カートリッジの矢印の方向を確かめ
てください。フロントホルダーにカートリッジを合わせ、リ
アアダプターを合わせて、スライドノブを戻し、前方向に
いっぱい押してください。

Align the cartridge over the front holder, and then
with the rear adapter, as you return the slide knob
to its fully forward position.

1. ノズルは１１ｍｍのレンチをつかって反時計回しで取り外
してください。
Turn the nozzle tip using a wrench (11mm)
counterclockwise and remove it.
本器のノズルは交換可能です。ノズル内にたまったはんだが酸化すると詰まってしまいます。 クリーニングピンを使ってもノズル
内のはんだがとれないときは、交換してください。
Your desoldering gun has a nozzle tip that can be replaced. The oxidation of the collected solder inside the nozzle
tip will cause blockage. When the collected solder inside the nozzle tip can not be removed using the cleaning pin,
it has to be replaced.
プラスチック部分にガソリン、石油ベース、浸透性のオイルつけないでください。損傷を与えたり、弱めたり、壊れたりします。汚れ、
カーボンの埃等を取り除く場合はきれいな布を使用してください。
Do not at any time allow gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc. to come in contact with the
plastic parts. They contain chemicals that can damage, weaken, or destroy plastics. Use a clean cloth to remove
dirt, carbon dust, etc.

2. 新しいノズルを手で時計回りの方向にねじ込んだ後、
11mm のレンチで締めてください。この時、あまり強く
締めすぎると破損することがありますから注意してくださ
い。

tighten or it may break.

4. If any plastic part is deformed or a burnt smell is noticed, unplug your desoldering gun immediately and return it
to the distributor for service.
5. If your desoldering gun was dropped, check the above carefully. If there is a problem, do not use it and contact
your nearest distributor for service.

2. Check that the power cord is not damaged. If it is damaged, do not use your desoldering gun and return it to

TP-100AS のグリップは、導電プラスチックを使用しているため、モーター、基板部へ絶縁テープが巻
かれています（P23 参照）。分解時、絶縁テープに傷が入ると、感電の可能性がありますので、当社お
客様相談窓口まで交換を依頼されることをお勧めします。
The TP-100AS housing uses conductive material. An insulated film covers the motor and PCB. Electric
shock may occur if the insulated film is damaged during disassembly. Contact your nearest distributor
for repair.
