Thank you for choosing a Hama product.
Take your time and read the following instructions and
information completely. Please keep these instructions in a
safe place for future reference. If you sell the device, please
pass these operating instructions on to the new owner.
1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes

•This product is intended for private, non-commercial use
only.
•The product is intended for indoor use only.
•Use the product for its intended purpose only.
•Children are not permitted to play with the device.
Children may not clean the product or perform user
maintenance without supervision.
•Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating,
and only use it in a dry environment.
•Do not use the product in areas where the use of
electronic devices is not permitted.
•The product may only be operated with the type of power
supply network described on the name plate.
•Only connect the product to a socket that has been
approved for the device. The socket must be installed
close to the product and easily accessible.
•Never connect multiple units of this product in series.

given in the specifications.
•Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids

Warning

Risk of electric shock
Do not open the product. Do not continue to operate
the product if it is damaged, which may be indicated by
smoke, odour or loud noises. Immediately contact your
dealer or our service department (see item “Service and
Support”).
4. Product features
This WiFi power socket is intended for connection to
your wireless home network via WiFi and for controlling
electrical household devices remotely (turning on/off,
dimming).
The product can be controlled using a mobile device
(mobile phone/tablet) and using the Amazon Alexa/Echo
Voice Service.
In this case, a selection of voice commands is available to
you:
•Turn on/off
‘Alexa, turn on/off the light.’
•Dim to X%
‘Alexa, decrease the light to X%.’
•Dim by X%
‘Alexa, increase the light X%.’
•Colour selection
‘Alexa, change the light to green (blue, red, yellow).’
Note – Alexa
To use the product with Amazon Alexa, you need a de-
vice that supports Amazon Alexa (for example, Amazon
Echo/Echo Dot, etc.). The device must be integrated in
your home network and connected to the Internet.

5. Getting started and operation
Note
The following requirements must be met before you can
start operating the product:
•A functioning wireless home network (WiFi/WLAN)
that is turned on
•A mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) that is
WiFi/WLAN-enabled and connected to your home
network
•The MIMOODZ WiFi app, installed on your mobile
device
5.1 Loading the MIMOODZ WiFi app
•Download the MIMOODZ WiFi app from the Apple App
Store or the Google Play Store using your mobile device.
•Start the MIMOODZ WiFi app.
•If you’re using it for the first time, you’ll have to register
and create a new account. If you already have an
account, log in using your login details.
5.2 Installing the WiFi power socket
•Plug the WiFi socket adapter into a suitable socket.
•Press and hold the button on the power socket for
approximately 5 seconds until the blue LED begins to
flash quickly.
•Now open the menu in the app by tapping the three-
bar icon and tap Devices.
•Tap + in the top-right corner; when the status LED on the
WiFi socket adapter flashes, confirm with Next (Android)
or Device flashes quickly (iOS).
•Now enter the name of your WiFi network and the
password, and confirm with Next.
•The WiFi socket adapter will now be connected. Once the
connection has been established, the status LED stops
flashing. At the end of the connection process, you can
also rename the WiFi socket adapter.
•You can now set up, control and configure your WiFi
smart socket using the app.
•To delete one of the set-up devices, tap the green bin in
the devices view and then tap the Delete icon. Finally
confirm with Delete.

6. Integration in Amazon Alexa
To be able to control the smart socket with Amazon Alexa,
the mimoodz app and the Alexa app must be installed
on the same terminal device, and the smart socket you
require must be connected to the mimoodz app.
•Install the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone/tablet
and then start it. Open the menu in the Alexa app by
tapping the three-bar icon and select Skills.
•Enter mimoodz in the search screen to find the
mimoodz skill. Select the mimoodz skill and enable it
by tapping the ENABLE button.
•After the skill has been enabled, enter the login data for
your mimoodz account. Then confirm with Link Now.
•Open the menu in the Alexa app by tapping the three-
bar icon and select Smart Home.
•Tap the Devices button and then tap Discover.
•If the search is successful, your WiFi socket adapter(s)
will now be displayed under the name you used in the
mimoodz app.
•You can now create groups, in order to control several
smart devices (for example, several power sockets or
power sockets and LED(s)) all at once.

Note – Groups and scenes
•If you have already created groups and/or scenes in
the mimoodz app, you might not be able to use them
in the Alexa app.
•It is only possible to group devices with the Alexa
app; scenes are not possible.
7. Care and Maintenance
• Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
• Make sure that water does not get into the product.

warranty for damage resulting from improper installation/
mounting, improper use of the product or from failure to
observe the operating instructions and/or safety notes.

den haben!
Nehmen Sie sich Zeit und lesen Sie die folgenden Anwei-
sungen und Hinweise zunächst ganz durch. Bewahren
Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung anschließend an einem
sicheren Ort auf, um bei Bedarf darin nachschlagen zu
können. Sollten Sie das Gerät veräußern, geben Sie diese
Bedienungsanleitung an den neuen Eigentümer weiter.

Gebrauch vorgesehen.

vorgesehenen Zweck.
•Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung

Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages
Öffnen Sie das Produkt nicht und betreiben Sie es bei
Beschädigungen, davon ausgehender Rauchentwicklung,
Geruchsbildung oder lauten Geräusche nicht weiter.
Wenden Sie sich umgehend an Ihren Händler oder unsere
Serviceabteilung (siehe Pkt. Service und Support).
4.Produkteigenschaften
Diese WiFi Steckdose ist dazu vorgesehen, per WiFi mit
ihrem drahtlosen Heimnetzwerk verbunden zu werden und
fernbedient elektrische Verbraucher im Haushalt zu steuern
(Ein-/Ausschalten, Dimmen).
Das Produkt lässt sich sowohl über ein mobiles Endgerät
(Handy / Tablet), als auch über den Amazon Alexa / Echo
Voice Service steuern.
In diesem Fall steht ihnen eine Auswahl an Sprachbefehlen
zur Verfügung:
•An- / Ausschalten
„Alexa, schalte das Licht an/aus.“
•Dimmen auf X %
„Alexa, reduziere das Licht auf X %.“
•Dimmen um X %
„Alexa, erhöhe das Licht X %.“
•Farbauswahl
„Alexa, schalte das Licht auf grün (blau, rot, gelb).“

Hinweis - Alexa
Zur Nutzung mit Amazon Alexa benötigen Sie ein in
ihr Heimnetzwerk integriertes und mit dem Internet
verbundenes Gerät, welches Amazon Alexa unterstützt
(z.B. Amazon Echo/Echo Dot etc.).
5. Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb
Hinweis
Beachten Sie darauf, das Sie zur Inbetriebnahme und
zum Betrieb über folgende Voraussetzungen verfügen:
•Ein funktionierendes und eingeschaltetes, drahtloses
Heimnetzwerk (WiFi/WLAN)
•Ein WiFi/WLAN-fähiges und mit Ihrem Heimnetzwerk
verbundenes, mobiles Endgerät (Smartphone/Tablet etc.).
•Die auf Ihrem mobilen Endgerät installierte
MIMOODZ WiFi App.
5.1 Laden der MIMOODZ WiFi App
•Laden Sie die APP MIMOODZ WiFi mit Ihrem mobilen
Endgerät aus dem Apple App Store oder dem Google
Play Store herunter.
•Öffnen Sie die APP MIMOODZ WiFi.
•Als Erstanwender müssen Sie sich registrieren und ein
neues Konto anlegen. Falls Sie bereits über ein Konto
verfügen, melden Sie sich mit Ihren Zugangsdaten an.
5.2 Installieren der WiFi Steckdose
•Stecken Sie den WiFi Steckdosenadapter in eine geeigne-
te Steckdose.
•Halten Sie den Taster an der Steckdose für ca. 5 Sekunden
gedrückt bis die blaue LED schnell zu blinken beginnt.
•Öffnen Sie jetzt in der APP durch tippen auf das Drei-
Balken Symbol das Menü und klicken Sie auf Geräte.
•Klicken Sie jetzt rechts oben in der Ecke +, wenn die Sta-
tus-LED an dem WiFi Steckdosenadapter blinkt bestätigen
Sie mit Next (Android) oder Gerät blinkt schnell (iOS)
•Geben Sie jetzt den Namen ihres WiFi Netzwerkes und
das Passwort ein und bestätigen Sie mit Weiter / Next.
•Der WiFi Steckdosenadapter wird nun verbunden. Bei
erfolgreicher Verbindung hört die Status-LED auf zu
blinken. Am Schluss des Verbindungsvorgangs können
Sie noch einen eigenen Namen für den WiFi Steckdosen-
adapter vergeben.
•Sie können jetzt die WiFi Smart Steckdose mit der APP
einrichten, steuern und konfigurieren.

•Um eine der eingerichteten Geräte wieder zu löschen,
tippen Sie in der Geräteansicht auf die grüne Mülltonne
und anschließend auf das Löschsymbol. Bestätigen Sie
abschließend mit Löschen
6.Einbinden in Amazon Alexa
Um die Smart Steckdose auch mit Amazon Alexa steuern
zu können, müssen die mimoodz und Alexa App auf
dem gleichen Endgerät installiert sein und die gewünschte
Smart Steckdose mit der mimoodz App verbunden sein.
•Installieren Sie die Amazon Alexa App auf Ihrem Smart-
phone /Tablet und öffnen Sie sie anschließend. Öffnen
Sie in der Alexa App das Menü durch Berühren des
3-Balken Symbols und wählen Sie Skills aus.
•Geben Sie mimoodz in der Suchmaske ein, um den
mimoodz Skill zu suchen. Wählen Sie den Skill mi-
moodz aus und aktivieren Sie ihn durch Berühren der
Schaltfläche AKTIVIEREN.
•Nach dem Aktivieren berühren Sie die Schaltfläche
Einstellungen und geben Sie die Anmeldedaten Ihres
mimoodz Kontos ein. Bestätigen Sie anschließend mit
Link Now.
•Öffnen Sie in der Alexa App das Menü durch Berühren
des 3-Balken Symbols und wählen Sie Smart Home aus.
•Berühren Sie auf die Schaltfläche Geräte, anschließend
auf Suche.

•Bei erfolgreicher Suche werden nun Ihre WiFi Steckdo-
senadapter unter dem von Ihnen in der mimoodz App
verwendeten Namen angezeigt.
•Sie können nun auch Gruppen erstellen, um mehrere
Smart (z.B. mehrere Steckdosen oder Steckdosen und
LED(s)) gleichzeitig zu steuern.
Hinweis – Gruppen und Szenen
•Wenn Sie in der mimoodz App bereits Gruppen und/
oder Szenen angelegt haben, kann es sein, dass die
Alexa App diese nicht übernehmen kann.
•Mit der Alexa App können Geräte nur gruppiert
werden, Szenen sind nicht möglich.
7. Wartung und Pflege
• Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien,
leicht feuchten Tuch und verwenden Sie keine aggressi-
ven Reiniger.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Produkt eindringt.
8. Haftungsausschluss
Die Hama GmbH & Co KG übernimmt keinerlei Haftung
oder Gewährleistung für Schäden, die aus unsachgemäßer
Installation, Montage und unsachgemäßem Gebrauch des
Produktes oder einer Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanlei-
tung und/oder der Sicherheitshinweise resultieren.
