Thisproduct swarranty,providedbyourcompany,coversaperiodof1year
formthedateofpurchase.All faultypartsand/orfunctions,resultingdespite
user snormaluse,willberepairedand/orreplacedatnochargeduringthe
warrantyperiod.
However,ifanyofthemalfunctionsarecausedbyusercarelessness,inadequate
maintenance,ornaturaldisaster,wewilltheproviderepairand/orreplacement
servicesforafeeregardlessofwarrantyperiod.
Intheeventourproductdoesnotprovesuitableforyourapplicationyoucan
returntheproductforanexchangeorrefund.Toclaim, theproductmustbe
returnedingoodconditionwithin14days.Beforereturningaproduct, please
contactandprovideusaserialnumber.Thecustomerisresponsibleforall
shippingcosts.
Productscoveredbythiswarrantyarelimitedtothosethatareregisteredatthe
Weheadquarterorbranchofficesand repairs,replacements,orrefundswillbe
issuedaccordingtomanufacturer sdiscretion.Wheninneedofwarrantyservices,
thepurchasermayvisit ourheadquarteroroneofoursalesofficeswiththe
productorsendtheproductwithadetaileddescriptionofservicesrequiredvia
postalservicetoanyofoursalesoffices(thepurchaserwill beresponsiblefor
packaging, postage, and anypostal insurance).Oncerepairservicesarecompleted,
thesupplierwillreturntheproducttothepurchaser(returnpostagewillbepaid
bythesupplier).
However,ifwedeterminedrequiredservicestobeoutsidetheboundariesofthe
warrantycoverage,wewillfirstcontactthepurchaserandprovideanestimateof
repaircostsandobtainauthorizationtoconductservicesbeforeanyworkisdone.
Insuchacase,returnpostagealongwiththerepaircostswillbebilledtothe
purchaserwhentherepairedproductisreturned.
Wedonotwarrantthatthesoftwareand theproductwithwhichitwassupplied
arecompletelyerrorfreeorthatwillfunctioncorrectlyinalloperating

environments.Itisessentialthatyou,theusers,shouldverifythatthesoftware
and productarefunctioningtoyourrequirementsbeforerelyingcausedonthem
orthedatathattheygenerate.Wedonotacceptresponsibilityforanyloss or

PrecautionsforSafety
Thefollowinginstructionsareprovidedforsafeand correctuseoftheproduct
and topreventapotentiallydangeroussituationordamageinadvance.Besureto
readthroughthembeforeyouusetheproduct.
RecommendedUsageEnvironment
lTheambienttemperatureand relativehumidityshouldbe0-40 and
10-80%respectiveforthenormaloperationoftheproduct.
PowerSource
lTheUSBterminal andDSO-5200AUSBareconnectedviaaUSBcablefor
DC+5VpowerfromthePC.Theproductdoesnot requireanoutsidepower
source.
Warning:Becarefulnottoinputexcessivepower voltage
lTheproduct sinputpowercapacityisfixedasshownbelowtoprevent
electricshockand/orfire.PleaseDONOTusevoltagehigherthanthat
prescribedbelow.
(Warning)Besure tochecktheprobeattenuationbefore measuringthe
voltage.Thevoltagethatishigherthanthemaximuminputvoltagecan
causedamagetothedeviceandyou.Inparticular,there istheriskof

lTheprobeground leadisatground potential.Donotconnecttheground
leadtoanelevatedvoltage.Connecttheground leadoftheprobetoearth
ground only.
If measuringthefloatingpotential,wewillrecommend themeasurementby
thedifferentialmotionmethodusingCH1andCH2.
lDonotconnectordisconnecttheproductwiththeprobeortestleadwhich
isconnectedtoavoltagesource.
lDonotattempttooperatetheproductatthesituationthatariskof
dysfunctionorshockexpectedtohappen.
lStopusingtheproductimmediatelywhenyounoticesomethingunusual
aboutthesmell,smokeorsound.
And thenremovetheUSBconnectionformyourcomputer.
lKeeptheproductoutofthereachofchildrenorthosewhocannotbetrusted

SoftwareInstallation
1. WhileinWindows,inserttheinstallationCD intotheCD-ROMdrive.
2.Theinstallationshouldstartup automatically.OtherwiseinWindowsExplorer,
switchtotheCD-ROMdriveandrun ‘Setup.exe .
3.TheDSO-5200AUSBInstallationisstarted.Click'Next'tocontinue.
4. Chooseadestinationdirectory. Click'Next'tocontinue.
