Model: SL-550TRS-IPI-D, SL-550TRS-IPI-E LOG PLACEMENT
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1.
CAUTION: Logs are fragile!
Carefully remove the logs from the packaging.

STEP 2.
LOG #1 (SRV2117-701) Place log #1 on left flat side of
the burner assembly. Pull the log and slide it to the right
until the notches under the log are in the burner grooves.
STEP 3.
LOG #2 (SRV2117-702) Place log #2 on the grate bar
and push it back against the refractory. The pilot should
be centered within the large notch on log #2.

STEP 4.
LOG #3 (SRV2117-703): Place log #3 on right flat side of
burner assembly. The notch on the log should fit over the
bar on the far right side of the grate. Push the right side of
log #3 against the grate tab and pull the left side forward
until it comes into contact with the burner detail.
STEP 5.
LOG #4 (SRV2117-704): Place log #4 so that the right
end of the log sits in the flat spot of log #2. The left end
of the log will sit on the left grate tine and also contact the
vertical portion of the grate tine as shown in Figure 4. The
“burned” part of the log should be pointed downward.
STEP 6.
LOG #5 (SRV2117-705): Place log #5 on log #2. Log #5
will mate with Log #4 in the flat areas located on the top
side of Log #4. The protrusion on Log #5 will mate with
the recess on Log #4. See Figure 5.
