Preparation before using for the first time
• Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
Make sure no packaging debris remain on the
appliance.
• Check for completeness (1 dripping tray and 1
wooden spreader included) and any transport
damage. In case of damages or incomplete de-
livery, please contact supplier (See --- > Warranty
page).
• Keep the packaging for storing your appliance
when not in use for an extended period of time.
• Ensure there is enough clearance around the ap-
pliance. Place the appliance in a well-ventilated
area.
• Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical
wall outlet.
• The power indicator (2) will light up in green.
Switch ON the appliance by setting the temper-
ature control (1) clockwise to MAX (250°C) for dry
running without food for about 15 ~ 20 minutes.
This is to remove all residues during the manu-
facturing process.
• Let the appliance cool down completely. Clean it
before using it for baking crepe. (See ==> Clean-
ing and Maintenance)
Note: Due to the manufacturing residues, the ap-
pliance may emit slight odor in the first few cycles.
This is normal and does not indicate any defect or
hazard. Make sure the appliance is well ventilated.
Note: You will need a wooden spreader (4) on hand
before starting to cook crepes, because you have
to handle quickly while baking to avoid overcooking
the batter.
Operation
• Clean the baking surface with a clean damp cloth
before each use & let dry afterwards.
• Connect the power plug with a suitable electrical
outlet. Power indicator (2) will light up in green to
show that it is connected to the electrical power
supply.
• Switch ON the appliance by turning the temper-
ature control (1) in a clockwise direction to select
the required baking temperature.
• Wait for about 15 ~ 20 minutes to let the baking
plate heating up to about 200 ~ 250°C (Max).
• Then, pour a small amount of crepe batter onto
the baking plate with a spoon. Use a wooden
spreader (4) to spread it in circular movements.
Note: Moisten the wood spreader before use. This
prevents the batter from sticking to the spreader
(4).
• Allow the crepe to cook on one side until its
surface is no longer liquid visibly. Use a wood-
en spatula or heat-resistant plastic spatula (not
supplied) to lift one side of the crepe gently. The
crepe should be visibly cooked, may be some
in brown. In this case, the crepe is ready to be
flipped.
Note: When you pour the batter onto the hot bak-
ing plate, you might hear some slight cracking
noise caused by difference in temperature. This
is normal.
Note: Do not overcook the crepe, or the texture
will become rubbery. The crepe can be cooked
quickly under high temperature. So, it can be
flipped within about 2~3 minutes if you select a
suitable temperature.
• Turn the crepe over to other side carefully. It only
needs to cook on the other side for about 30 ~ 40
seconds.
• Carefully remove the crepe from the baking plate.
Continue making more crepes until you ran out
of batter. Do not use hand to touch the crepe as
it is still hot.
• If necessary, adjust the temperature by rotating
the temperature control.
• Switch OFF the appliance by rotating the temper-
ature control (1) anti-clockwise direction to 0°C.
Attention! Disconnect the power plug when not in
use. Green indicator (2) will go out. Leave the appli-
ance to cool down completely before cleaning and
storing.
