概要
本器は直流電圧を発生し、機器、部品、バッテリーなどの絶
縁抵抗を検査する絶縁抵抗試験器です。
試験電圧を任意に設定でき、高速な試験ができます。また、
BDD（Break Down Detect）機能により、バッテリー注液前
の絶縁抵抗試験において、微小な短絡やコンタミ（金属異物の
混入）を検出できます。さらに、豊富な通信インターフェイス
を標準装備しているため、製造・検査ラインから研究開発ま
で幅広く使用できます。

本器の設置
警告
次のような場所に本器を設置しない
• 直射日光があたる場所、高温になる場所
• 腐食性ガスや爆発性ガスが発生する場所
• 強力な電磁波を発生する場所、帯電しているものの近
く
• 誘導加熱装置（高周波誘導加熱装置、IH調理器具など）
の近く
• 機械的振動が多い場所
• 水、油、薬品、溶剤などがかかる場所
• 多湿、結露する場所
• ほこりが多い場所
本器が破損したり誤動作をしたりし、人身事故を引
き起こすおそれがあります。
注意
通気口をふさがない
内部の温度が上昇し、人身事故、火災、または本器
の破損を引き起こすおそれがあります。
本器の温度上昇を防ぐため、周囲から指定の距離以上離して
設置してください。

安全の確認を怠ったり取り扱いを誤った
りすると、感電、やけど、または死亡の
おそれがあります。

潜在的なハザードがあることを示します。
取扱説明書の「ご使用にあたっての注意」
および各使用説明の冒頭に記載されてい
る警告メッセージ、ならびに付属の「使用
上の注意」をご覧ください。
危険な電圧が発生する端子であること示
します。
安全について
本器はIEC 61010安全規格に従って設計され、その安全性は
出荷前の検査で確認されています。しかしながら、この取扱
説明書の記載事項に従わない場合は、本器が備えている安全
のための機能が損なわれるおそれがあります。
本器を使用する前に、次の安全に関する事項をよくお読みく
ださい。
危険
使用前に取扱説明書を読み、内容を理解する
使い方を誤り、重大な人身事故または本器の破損を
引き起こすおそれがあります。
警告
電気計測器を初めて使用する場合は、経験者の
監督の下で計測を行う
使用者が感電するおそれがあります。また、発熱、火
災、短絡によるアーク放電などを引き起こすおそれ
があります。

外部制御（EXT. I/O）

危険
EXT. I/O コネクターに、最大入力電圧/電流を
超える電圧 /電流を入力しない
本器が破損し、重大な人身事故を引き起こすおそれ
があります。
警告
本器のEXT. I/O コネクターに外部から電源を入
力しない
本器のEXT. I/O コネクターは外部電源を入力できま
せん。EXT. I/OのISO_5 V端子は5 V（NPN）/−5 V
（PNP）電源出力です。本器が破損するおそれがあり
ます。
本器のEXT. I/O コネクターに機器を接続すると
きは、ねじでコネクターを確実に留める
動作中にコネクターが外れて他の導電部などに触れ
ると、感電事故を引き起こすおそれがあります。
（インターロック解除ジグはねじで留めません）
通信機能

警告
インターフェイスのコネクターを着脱する前に、
各機器の電源を切る
使用者が感電するおそれがあります。
ラックマウント
参照：取扱説明書「11.7 ラックマウント」
警告
ラックマウント金具を本器に取り付けるときは、
指定のねじを使用する（バインド小ねじ M4 ×
8 mm）*
* M4かつ首下長さ8 mm以上9.5 mm以下も使用可
ラックマウント金具を本器から取り外し元に戻
すときは、はじめに取り付けられていたねじと
同じものを使用する
他のねじで固定すると本器が破損し、人身事故を引
き起こすおそれがあります。
ねじを紛失したりねじが破損したりした場合は、お
買上店（代理店）か最寄りの営業拠点にご連絡くださ
い。
試験前の点検
危険
使用前に、テストリードの被覆が破れたり金属
が露出したりしていないか確認する
使用前に、本器の点検と動作の確認をする
破損しているプローブや本器を使用すると、重大な
人身事故を引き起こすおそれがあります。損傷があ
る場合は、弊社指定のものと交換してください。
電源供給
警告
電源コードを接続する前に、使用する電源電圧
が本器の電源接続部に記載されている電圧範囲
内であることを確認する
電圧範囲外の電圧を入力すると、本器が破損し、人
身事故を引き起こすおそれがあります。
電源コードは、接地形 2極コンセントに接続す
る
接地ができないコンセントに接続すると、使用者が
感電するおそれがあります。
テストリード
危険
被覆が破損して金属部が露出しているテスト
リード類を使用しない
重大な人身事故を引き起こすおそれがあります。
テストリードの先端で、電圧が印加されている
2線間を短絡しない
短絡により、重大な人身事故や引き起こすおそれが
あります。
警告
本器にオプションのテストリードを接続して使
用する場合は、それぞれに表記されている定格
の低い方を超える測定に使用しない
いずれかの定格を超えた測定に使用すると、使用者
が感電するおそれがあります。
本器を使用するときは、弊社が指定したテスト
リードを使用する
指定以外のテストリードを使用すると、人身事故や
短絡事故を引き起こすおそれがあります。
被試験物が接続されている回路の電源を切って
から、テストリードを接続する
本器が破損し、人身事故を引き起こすおそれがあり
ます。

試験時の注意
危険
本器の定格の範囲外、または仕様の範囲外で使
用しない
本器が破損したり発熱したりし、重大な人身事故を
引き起こすおそれがあります。
警告
活線状態で絶縁抵抗試験をしない
本器が破損し、人身事故を引き起こすおそれがあり
ます。測定対象の電源を切ってから測定をしてくだ
さい。
試験中および直後（TEST インジケーターが点
灯中）は、被試験物、テストリードの先端、測
定端子に触れない
これらの部分が高電圧の電荷によって充電されてい
るため、感電事故を引き起こすおそれがあります。

動放電機能が有効です。TEST インジケーターが消灯

使用前に、本器の点検と動作の確認をしてください。

出していないか。
本器に破損しているところがないか。
絶縁抵抗試験の確認で抵抗値が正常か。
測定した抵抗値が用意した抵抗値と一致するか。

用意した抵抗器の定格電圧（電力）を超える試験
電圧（電力）を入力しない
抵抗器が破損するおそれがあります。
設定例：被試験物の絶縁抵抗値が100 MΩで、印加する試験

修理・点検
警告
本器を改造、分解、または修理しない
本器の内部には、高電圧を発生している部分があり
ます。作業者が感電したり、火災を引き起こしたり
するおそれがあります。
注意
本器を輸送するときは、次の事項を必ずお守り
ください。
• テストリードを本器から外す
• 故障内容を書き添える
• 最初にお届けした梱包材を使用し、二重梱包をする
輸送中に、本器などが破損するおそれがあります。
クリーニング
注意
通気口を定期的に清掃する
通気口が目詰まりすると、本器内部の冷却能力が低
下し、本器が破損するおそれがあります。
本器の汚れをとるときは、柔らかい布に水か中
性洗剤を少量含ませて、軽く拭く
ベンジン、アルコール、アセトン、エーテル、ケトン、
シンナー、ガソリン系を含む洗剤などを使用したり、
強く拭いたりすると、本器が変形、変色することが
あります。
表示部は乾いた柔らかい布で軽く拭いてください。
困ったときは
故障と思われるときは、「修理を依頼する前に」を確認してく
ださい。それでも問題が解決しない場合は、お買上店（代理店）
か最寄りの営業拠点にご連絡ください。
LCD 表示部にエラーが表示された場合は確認または修理が必
要です。試験中のコマンドエラー、実行エラー、およびパラメー
ターエラーは、ブザー音のみでメッセージは表示されません。

Overview
This instrument is an insulation resistance tester that generates DC
voltage and tests the insulation resistance of instruments, parts,
batteries, etc.
It’s capable of high-speed testing using user-congured test voltages.
With the Break Down Detect (BDD) function, micro short circuits and
contaminations (metal foreign substances) can be detected during an
insulation resistance test before battery liquid injection. In addition,
this instrument can be widely used from manufacturing/test lines for
research and development since ample communications interfaces
are provided as standard equipment.

EXT. I/O connector.

WARNING
Do not input any external power to the
EXT. I/O connector of the instrument.
External power cannot be input to the EXT. I/O
connector of the instrument. The ISO_5 V terminal of
the EXT. I/O has 5 V (NPN)/−5 V (PNP) power output.
The instrument can be damaged.
When connecting an instrument to the
EXT. I/O connector of this instrument, secure
the connector using screws.
If the connector comes o󰀨 during operation and
comes in contact with another conductive object,
electric shock accidents may occur.
(The interlock cancellation jig is not secured in place
with screws.)

Rackmount Fittings

WARNING
Use specied screws (M4 ×8 mm binding
head machine screw) to attach the ttings to
the instrument main body.*
* Use any M4 screw with a shaft length of at least
8 mm but no greater than 9.5 mm.
When the rackmount ttings are reattached
after removal from the instrument, reuse the
screws that were initially used.
If ttings are attached with other screws, the
instrument may be damaged, causing a risk of bodily
injury.
If you lose or damage the screws, contact your
authorized Hioki distributor or reseller.
Inspecting the Instrument before Test
DANGER
Before use, verify that test lead insulation is
not torn and that no metal is exposed.
Before use, inspect the instrument and verify
that it’ s operating properly.
Using test leads or an instrument that is damaged
could result in serious bodily injury.
If you discover any damage, replace with a Hioki-
specied part.
Supplying Power to the Instrument
WARNING
Before connecting the power cord to the
instrument, verify that the supply voltage you plan
to use falls within the supply voltage range noted
on the instrument’s AC inlet.
Supplying a voltage that falls outside the specied
voltage range to the instrument could damage the
instrument, causing bodily injury.
Connect the instrument’s power cord to a
grounded, two-prong power outlet.
Connecting the instrument to an ungrounded power
outlet could cause the operator to experience an
electric shock.
Connecting the Test Leads
DANGER
Do not use test leads whose insulation is
damaged or whose metal portion is exposed.
Doing so could cause serious bodily injury.
Do not short wires carrying a voltage with
the tips of the test leads.
Doing so could cause a short-circuit, resulting in

When using the instrument while connected
to test leads, use the lower of the ratings

Using the instrument to make measurements that

Before use, inspect the instrument and verify that it is operating properly.

The coating of the power cord or test lead are not ripped.
The instrument is not damaged.
The resistance value is normal after checking the insulation
resistance test.
The measured resistance value matches the resistance value
of the prepared resistor.

Repairs and Inspections
WARNING
Do not attempt to modify, disassemble, or
repair the instrument yourself.
There are some areas inside of the instrument where high
voltage is present. These areas may expose the operator to
electric shock or cause re.
CAUTION
Observe the following when shipping the
instrument.
• Remove test leads from the instrument.
• Attach a description of the malfunction.
• Use the packaging in which the instrument was initially
delivered and then pack that in an additional box.
Failure to do so could cause damage during shipment.
Cleaning
CAUTION
Periodically clean the vents to avoid blockage.
When the vents get clogged, the internal cooling e󰀨ect of the
instrument is hampered, and this can lead to damage to the
instrument.
If the instrument becomes dirty, wipe the
instrument clean with a soft cloth moistened with
water or a neutral detergent.
Never use solvents such as benzene, alcohol, acetone,
ether, ketone, thinners or gasoline.
Doing so could deform and discolor the instrument.
Wipe the LCD gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Troubleshooting
If damage is suspected, read the “Before requesting repair”
section to remedy the problem. If this does not help you,
contact your authorized Hioki distributor or reseller.
When an error is displayed on the LCD screen, repair is
necessary. For command, execution, and parameter errors
during a test, only a buzzer sounds without any message.
Before requesting repair

frequency setting is
not correct.
• Change the power
supply frequency
to a setting
appropriate for
the customer’s
environment.
• A load with an
electrostatic
capacitance is
connected.
• It takes time for the
measured value
to be stabilized
depending on
the electrostatic
capacitance. Set a
longer test time.
• The measured
value is a󰀨ected by
noise.
• Review the test
environment so that
the measured value
is not a󰀨ected.
[U. FAIL] and
[L. FAIL] light up
at the same time.
• The range setting
does not match
the set comparator
upper/lower limit
values.
• Set the comparator
upper/lower limit
values according to
the display range of
the set range.
• BDD judgment is
enabled.
• A BDD count of 1
or greater results in
a U.FAIL and L.FAIL
judgment. Disable
BDD judgment if
this functionality is
not necessary.
