•Ingenico 3070 is a PCI PED approved,
multi function, programmable PIN Pad
with smart card and magnetic card read-
ers. With RS232/USB or Ethernet port
configurations the Ingenico 3070 is ideal
for use in multi-lane retail and single point-
of-sale environments.
•Based on Ingenico’s new UNICAPTTM 32
bit architecture and EMV approved level 2
kernel, it provides rapid processing of EMV’s
powerful cryptographic algorithms. It offers
afast and easy way to adapt your existing
point-of-sale system to the new EMV and
PIN-entrystandards.
•Its large graphic display and function keys
improve user friendliness. Its ergonomic
shape allows the cardholder to easily operate
the hand-held device while retaining their
card throughout the transaction.

Physical and logical security
•The integrated High Security Core (HSC) has been developed
from years of experience by the world experts in POS security,
Ingenico. It offers different levels of security, meeting the most
demanding requirements of payment transactions (PCI PED,
offline and online, Interac…). It has a 32-bit processor to
support powerful encryption (RSA, DES, 3DES…), thus
ensuring confidential data is secure.
•Multi application security is provided by UNICAPTTM technology
permitting several applications to run independently on the same
device. An additional benefit is the portability of applications across
the entire Ingenico product line.
