General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this pool lounge (refer-
red to below only as the “lounge”). It contains important
information about using and handling the product.
Before using the lounge, read the user manual carefully.
This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to heed this
user manual may result in severe injury, or damage to the lounge.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the lounge on to
third parties, please be absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual,
on the lounge or on the packaging.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word desig-
nates a hazard with moderate
risk, which may result in death or
severe injury if not avoided.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against
potential damages to property.
This symbol provides you with useful supplementary
information regarding handling and use.
General prohibitory sign
The lounge is not suitable for children under 14 years of
age.

Safety
Proper use
The lounge is exclusively designed to be used as an aid when swim-
ming in a swimming pool. It is only intended for private use and not
suitable for commercial purposes.
Only use the lounge as described in this user manual. Using it in any
other way is deemed improper and may result in damage to property
or personal injury. The lounge is exclusively suitable for swimmers. It
is not a life-saving device nor is it a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages in-
curred through improper or incorrect use.
Safety notes
WARNING!
Risk of drowning!
Improper use of the lounge may lead to drowning.
− Never use the lounge to provide protection
against drowning. Never let non-swimmers use
the lounge.
− Never use the lounge on open water (lakes, rivers,
in the ocean etc.), in strong winds, fast currents or
dangerous tides.
− Never exceed the maximum permissible weight.
The lounge is capable of carrying a weight of no
more than 220lbs (100kg).
− Do not let children under the age of 14 use the
lounge.

− Do not use the lounge if you are under the influ-
ence of alcohol or other drugs.
− Do not use the lounge if you are tired or exhaust-
ed.
− Never use the lounge if it is damaged.
− Do not use the lounge for white water rafting or
other extreme sports.
− Evenly distribute your weight on the lounge.
− Never let a person jump on the lounge or jump off
the lounge into the water.
− Keep a sufficient distance between your head and
the swimming pool cover. Never swim in tunnels
or under bridges if there is not enough distance to
your head.
WARNING!
Danger of suffocation!
The lounge is not suitable for infants and children up
to 14 years of age. If the lounge has not been inflated,
there is a risk of suffocation for persons, who get under
the outer ring or head section.
− Keep infants and small children away from the
outer ring and head section of the lounge if they
are not inflated.
− If children are unsupervised, do not let them play
with the lounge, in its vicinity or with the packag-
ing wrapper. They may get caught in it when play-
ing and suffocate.

Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the lounge may damage it.
− Never use the lounge in water if there are debris
or obstacles nearby.
− Never place the lounge near hot surfaces (barbe-
cue grills etc.).
− Never expose the lounge to high temperatures
(heaters etc.) or to the effects of the weather (hail
etc.). Never fill the lounge with liquid.

Checking the lounge and product contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging
with a sharp knife or other pointy object, you may
quickly damage the lounge.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Remove the lounge from the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see fig. A).
3. Check whether the lounge or the individual parts exhibit any da-
mage. If this is the case, do not use the lounge. Contact the manu-
facturer at the service address specified on the back side.

Inflating the lounge
WARNING!
Risk of drowning!
If the inner tube and head cushion are not sufficiently
inflated, there is a risk of drowning.
− Make sure that the lounge is sufficiently inflated
before and during use. Check the air pressure
regularly, especially on hot or cold days.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improperly inflating the lounge may cause it to ex-
plode.
− Never use a high pressure compressor to inflate
the lounge.
− Only inflate the lounge with cold air.
− Do not over inflate the lounge. Do not exceed the
maximum air pressure of 0.44 psi (0.03bar).
1. Look for a clean area where there are no rocks or other sharp-
edged or pointy objects.
2. Pull the valves 5out of the outer ring 3and the head section 1.
3. Open the valve caps 6.
4. Inflate the inner tube 3and the head cushion 1one after
another. Use a foot or hand pump to do so.
The lounge has been inflated when the outer ring and the head
section feel firm, but are not too hard.
5. Close the valves and push them into the lounge.

Deflating the lounge
1. Pull the valves 5out of the outer ring 3and the head section
1.
2. Open the valve caps 6.
3. Squeeze the valve together with two fingers whilst pressing the
air out of the lounge. If necessary, have a second person help you.
Cleaning
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Using the wrong cleaners could damage the lounge.
− Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning. Other-
wise, the lounge could be damaged.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with
metal or nylon bristles or sharp or metallic clean-
ing utensils such as knives, hard scrapers and the
like. They could damage the surfaces.
1. Clean the lounge with clean water every time after use. If present,
use a garden hose for this.
2. Then let all parts dry completely.

WARNING!
Risk of drowning!
Damages to the lounge, if not identified, pose a risk of
drowning.
− Stop using the lounge if the inner tube or the
head cushion leak or lose air.
Water at least 1 hour after repairing the lounge befo-
re you inflate it.
1. Check the seams and valves 5for leaks on a regular basis. For
this, spray soapy water on the area where you suspect there is a
leak and check for bubbles.
2. If you have discovered a leak, open the valves and deflate the
lounge (see chapter “Deflating the air”).
3. Clean the applicable area thoroughly.
4. Cut a sufficiently large piece off of the enclosed repair patch 4.
The repair patch must overlap the leak by approx. 0.59" (1.5 cm).
5. Round out the edges of the repair patch.
6. Push the repair patch firmly on the applicable area. If applicable,
place a weight on it.
Instead of using the enclosed repair patch, you can
also use commercially-available silicone glue or
polyurethane-based glue. In this case, follow the
instructions of the glue manufacturer.
