InvacareTopEndRacingChairsaredesignedandbuiltsolely
fortransportationofasingleriderforuseinrecreational,
roadracing,timetrialandoffroadenjoyment.Theyare
intendedtobeusedforlonger,fasterridesinrecreational
areasincludingpaved,crushedgravel,ridingpathsoroff
roadcourses.Theyarenotintendedtobeusedasadaily
wheelchairorthetreatmentofanymedicalconditionbut
onlyforrecreationalpurposes.Anyotherusedisprohibited.

Thedeviceisintendedtoprovidemobilitytopersons
playingsportsactivitiesonlyoncourtsordesignated

4.1SafetyInspectionChecklist
Everysixmonthsorasnecessary,takeyourTopEnd
racingchairtoaqualiedtechnicianforathorough
inspectionandservicing.Regularcleaningwill
reveallooseorwornpartsandenhancethesmooth
operationofyourracingchair.Forsafeandproper
operation,yourracingchairMUSTbecaredforjust
likeanyothervehicle.Routinemaintenancewill
extendthelifeandefciencyofyourracingchair.
Initialadjustmentsshouldbemadetosuityourpersonal
bodystructureandpreference.Thereafter,followthese
maintenanceprocedures:
Inspect/AdjustInitiallyandWeekly
qMakesurethattheracingchairrollsstraight(no
excessivedragorpulltooneside).
qInspectseatandbackupholsteryforripsorsagging.
qInspectthatrearwheelaxlesaresecurelytightened.
qInspectthatthereisnoexcessivesidemovementor
bindingwhenrearwheelisliftedandspun.
qInspectpushrimsforsignsofpeelingofcoatingwhere
itmightseparatefromthepushrim.
qInspectspokesforbentorbrokenspokes.
qInspectthatallspokesareuniformlytight.
qInspectfrontwheel/forkassemblyforpropertensionby
frontwheel;frontwheelshouldcometoagradualstop.
Loosen/tightenhexcrewsifwheelwobblesnoticeably
orbindstoastop.Therewillbesomeplayinthefront
wheel.
