Please read the instructions carefully before
use to ensure safe and satisfactory operation
of this product.
Warnings This is a Class ll product and must NOT be earthed.
Please read these instructions carefully before commencing any work.
Your standard lamp has been packaged as separate parts to prevent damage
during transit.
When manoeuvring or assembling this product, it must be lifted from
the bottom section.
The lamp must be protected by a 3 amp fuse in the mains plug.
If you are in any doubt, please consult a qualied electrician.
For your safety, always switch off the supply before cleaning or adjusting.
If the mains cable becomes damaged it must only be replaced by a technically
competent, qualied person.

Recommended bulb (not included)
1 x 7W E27 LED Energy Efcient GLS, or
1 x 28W E27 Eco Halogen GLS, or
1 x 40W (Max.) E27 GLS
When changing a bulb, always switch off at the mains and allow the bulb to cool
before handling. Dispose of used bulbs carefully. Do not exceed the rated power
stated or use a different shape bulb from that indicated on the tting.
Carefully unpack the carton, making sure all the
parts are present before assembly.
Join the upper (A) and middle (B) sections of
stem into the lower section (C) by screwing in
a clockwise direction. Take care not to trap the
cable or cross the threads.
Fit the shade (G) by slotting over the lampholder
and secure with the shade ring (H). Fit the bulb (I)
per the detail overleaf.
Plug the lamp in and switch on using the foot switch.
The shade position can be adjusted by loosening
the thumb screw in the join of the shade and arm ( J).
PLEASE NOTE: The lamp head will become hot
during use. Always switch off and allow to cool before
adjusting the lamp head. Ensure the stem is held while
adjusting the lamp head.

2Slot the stem (D) into the base (E) and gently pull
through any excess cable. Secure the stem into
the base using the washer and nut and tighten with
the spanner (F).
