safe and satisfactory operation of this product.
Pre-assembly preparation
Please ensure instructions are read in full before attempting to assemble this product
Please check the pack contents before attempting to assemble this product. A full checklist of
components is given in this leaet. If any components are missing, please contact the retailer from
whom you bought this product.
This product takes approximately 60 MINUTES to assemble with 2 PEOPLE.
The ttings pack contains SMALL ITEMS which should be KEPT AWAY FROM YOUNG
CHILDREN.
Read this leaet in full before commencing assembly.
Each Bracket is supplied with - 3x Screws - 3x Wall plugs
If ceiling xing you must use the Top Fix Bracket.
To t a pole into a bay window you will need enough pole as laid out in Step 1.Three brackets,
one for each end and one centre bracket.You will aslo need the following per corner.
THE BAY POLE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR EYELET STYLE CURTAINS

Measure the lengths of pole
Straight lengths over 1.2m will require a support or end bracket.
Should you wish to dress your curtains outside of the bay recess, this is possible by reverse
bending the corner joint.You will need to add x+y into your pole calculations.The minimum
length for x or y is 10cm.
Calculate the position of the passing brackets at w and z by laying the bay pole parts out on the
oor of your bay window, ensuring that the centre of the pole is 10cm from the wall.
DO NOT CUT THE POLES!
The passing brackets should support the joint between the bend and the pole.
Dimension z should be a minimum of 8cm.
Mark the positions of the brackets on the wall using the diagram below as a guide.

Note - 1may be made of
two lengths of poles which
will require a centre joint.
Starting in the middle of the window, build the pole outwards cutting the poles to length as
required.
1.To achieve a smooth glide of your curtain, ensure that each
joint is evenly bent.
The maximum bend angle for a 19mm and 28mm bay bend
is 90 °.
2.When you are happy with the bend prole, tighten the
screws to lock it into position.
1. Slide the bracket onto the wall mounting plate,
ensuring that the base of the bracket is ush with
the wall.
2.Tighten the locking screw.
Cutting pole
1. Mask the area to be cut to avoid
damaging the pole.
2. When using two poles, cut equal
lengths from each pole.
3. File sharp edges and the inside of the
cut poles to remove burr and to avoid
injury or damage to other components.
1. Join the corners to the pole by pushing the
bung into the pole.
2. Place the pole and bend onto the passing
bracket.
Use the wall mounting plate as a template to mark the hole positions.

Only use a Step Ladder to install this product.
Do Not over reach.Always move the Step Ladder so that you are in a safe working position.
Do Not hold or lean on the track to support your weight.
We recommend you use two people for installation of larger tracks.
Take care when using power tools, use of a Residual Current Device (RCD) is recommended.
Always use eye protection when drilling.
Beware of hidden pipe runs and cables.
No liability will be accepted for damage or injury caused by incorrectly installed or assembled
furniture.

Safety Instructions
1. Position one ring between the bracket
and the nial.
2. Push the nial onto the end of the pole.
3.Tighten the retaining screw if applicable.
1. Equally space curtain hooks along the curtain
header, you will require one hook for every ring.
2. Place the hooks through the eyelet on the
ring.
1.Test the installation by drawings the curtains
across the pole.
Before placing the last section of pole into the end
bracket, add the C rings. If using a centre bracket ensure
that the rings are distributed evenly either side of the
centre bracket
We recommend one ring per 10cm of pole.
1. Loosen the pole retainer and rotate 90 degrees.
2. Place the pole into the bracket.
3. Rotate the pole retainer back 90
degrees returning into the slot and
tighten screw until the pole does
not slide in the bracket.
