1. Gerätebeschreibung
Der Profi-Waschkopf PW 10 ist ein Sprühextraktionszusatzgerät. Er kann mit derpuzzi 200/300 S
Serie mit eingebauter Steckdose betrieben werden und ist zur Beseitigung von starken
Verschmutzungen auf Teppichböden geeignet.
Beim PW 10 wird zusätzlich zum Sprühextrahieren durch
eine schnell laufende Bürste der Schmutz aus
dem Teppichboden ausgebürstet. Das ermög-
lichteinegründlicheReinigungauchvonstark
verschmutzten Teppichböden.
Wichtige Hinweise:
Niemals explosive Flüssigkeiten, unverdünnte Säuren und Lösungsmittel aufsaugen:
Dazu zählen Benzin, Farbverdünner oder Heizöl, die durch Verwirbelung mit der
Saugluft explosive Dämpfe oder Gemische bilden können, ferner Azeton,
unverdünnte Säuren und Lösungsmittel, sofern sie die am Gerät verwendeten
Materialien angreifen.
Beim Reinigen und Warten des Gerätes, beim Auswechseln von Teilen oder bei der
Umstellung auf eine andere Funktion ist der Antrieb auszuschalten und bei
netzbetriebenen Geräten der Netzstecker zu ziehen.
Es ist darauf zu achten, daß die Netzanschlußleitung oder das Verlängerungskabel
nicht durch Überfahren, Quetschen, Zerren oder dergleichen verletzt oder
beschädigt wird.
Die Netzanschlußleitung ist regelmäßig auf Verletzung oder Alterung zu
untersuchen. Falls deren Zustand nicht einwandfrei ist darf das Gerät nicht benutzt
werden.
Das Gerät darf nur von Personen benutzt werden, die in der Handhabung
unterwiesen und ausdrücklich mit der Benutzung beauftragt sind.
Es besteht die Gefahr, wenn beim Betrieb mit sich drehenden Bürsten das
Verlängerungskabel überfahren wird.
Instandsetzungen, einschließlich des Einbindens von Sprühmittelleitungen und
Schläuchen, dürfen nur durch zugelassene Kundendienststellen oder durch
Fachkräfte auch für dieses Gebiet, welche mit allen relevanten
Sicherheitsvorschriften vertraut sind, durchgeführt werden.

2. Betrieb
2.1 Vorbereitung zur Inbetriebnahme
•Betriebsbereitschaft despuzzi herstellen.
•Sprüh-Saugschlauch am Gerät anschließen (Abb. A, B).
• PW 10 mit Sprüh-Saugschlauch verbinden (Abb. C). Darauf achten,
daß die Kupplungen des Druckschlauches einrasten.
Verwendung der Zusatzsteckdose
1. Schutzdeckel mit PW 10 Gerätestecker in Pfeilrichtung schieben.
2. PW 10 Gerätestecker in Zusatzsteckdose des puzzi einstecken.
3. PW 10 gemäß Bedienungsanleitung in Betrieb nehmen.
2.2 Inbetriebnahme
•puzzi in Betrieb nehmen.
•Mit dem Schalter den Bürstenantrieb des PW 10 starten (Abb. D /3).
Hinweis: Beim Blockieren der Bürste schaltet der Bürstenantrieb ab.
Abhilfe siehe unter 4. Bürstenwechsel.
2.3 Reinigen
•Ventilgriff betätigen (Abb. E).
Damit wird die Reinigungsmittellösung aufgesprüht.
Das Schmutzwasser wird über die Saugdüse sofort wieder
zurückgesaugt.
•Zum Reinigen den PW 10 in leicht überlappenden Bahnen rückwärts
über den Teppichboden ziehen.
• So beginnen, daß bereits gereinigte Flächen, nicht wieder betreten
werden müssen.
•Beim Vorwährtsfahren (Leerhub) den Ventilgriff loslassen.

2.4 Außerbetriebnahme
•Den Bürstenantrieb ausschalten (Abb. F /3).
•puzzi außer Betrieb setzen.
3. Wartung
3.1 Nach jedem Einsatz
•Den PW 10 mit Klarwasser spülen.
•Walzbürstenbereich von Flusen und Schmutz reinigen.
•Spritzbild des Düsenmundstückes überprüfen; bei ungleichmäßigem Spritzbild Düse
und Mundstück reinigen.
•Bei nachlassender Saugleistung – Saugschlauch und Saugdüsen reinigen.
3.2 Halbjährlich
•Zahnriemenverschleiß und Spannung überprüfen; ggf. austauschen.
•Bürstenverschleiß überprüfen; evtl. Bürste austauschen.
4. Bürstenwechsel
•3 Muttern lösen und Abdeckhaube entfernen (Abb. F /1).
•Zahnriemen abnehmen.
•Schraube an Stirnseite der Bürste herausdrehen.
•Auf gegenüberliegender Seite Halteplatte demontieren durch Lösen von 2 Schrauben,
und Bürste entfernen (Abb. F /2).
•Montage der Bürste erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
Sollten die Bürsten blockieren wird der Bürstenmotor abgeschaltet.
Abhilfe: • Bürstenantrieb ausschalten (Abb. F /3).
• Bürste auf Verunreinigungen prüfen; eventuell blockierende Gegenstände
entfernen.
• Schutzkappe herausdrehen und mit Schraubenzieher den Sicherungsschalter
drücken (Abb. F /4).
• Danach Schutzkappe wieder einschrauben.

1. General description
The Profi-Power-Brush PW 10 is a spray extraction attachment unit. It can be used in
conjunctionwithallsprayextractioncleanerssuchasthepuzzi 200/300 S withanintegral
powersocket andisidealforremovingheavycontaminationfromwalltowall
carpeting.
With the PW 10, spray extraction cleaning is
supplemented by a fast rotating brush that
brushes the dirt out of the pile of the carpeting.
This makes it possible to clean even the
dirtiest carpet.
Important notes
Never use the cleaner to suck up explosive fluids, undiluted acids or solvents.
Explosive fluids include petrol, gasoline, paint thinners and fuel oil, any of which can
generate explosive vapours or mixtures as a result of being turbulantly mixed with
the suction air. Acetone, paint thinners and undiluted acids may attack the materials
used in the construction of the cleaner.
The suction turbine should always be switched off and the plug be withdrawn from
the power socket before cleaning or servicing the cleaner, replacing parts or
changing to some different function.
Care should be taken to ensure that the power cable or the extension cable is not
damaged by being driven over, crushed or otherwise mishandled.
The power cable and the extension cable should be checked regularly for damage
or ageing. The cleaner should never be used if the cables are not in proper order.
The cleaner must only be used by persons who have been instructed in its operation
and who are expressly authorized to use it.
When working with rotating brushes, there is a risk of running over the extension
cable.
Repair work, including the connection of spraying agent piping and hoses must only
be effected by authorized customer-service stations or by technicians familiar with
this equipment and with all the relevant safety regulations.

2. Operation
2.1 Preparation for operation
• Makeyourpuzzi cleaner readyfor use.
• Connect the spray extraction hose to the cleaner (Figs. A and B).
• Connect the spray extraction hose to the PW 10 (Fig. C). Making sure
that the hose couplers of the delivery hose engage properly.
Use of the attachment power socket
1. Slide back the socket cover with the aid of the PW10 power plug.
2. Plug the PW10 power plug into the attachment power socket of the
puzzi.
3. Put the PW10 into operation in accordance with the operating
instructions.
2.2 Putting into operation
• Putthepuzzi intooperation.
• Start the PW 10 by means of the brush-drive switch (Fig. D /3).
Note: If the brush is blocked to prevent it rotating, the drive motor will
stop automatically. For remedy, see under 4. Brush replacement.
2.3 Carpet cleaning
• Pull the valve trigger (Fig. E).
This will cause detergent solution to be sprayed onto the carpet.
The dirtied water will be sucked up again immediately.
• The PW 10 should be drawn backwards over the carpet in slightly
overlapping passes.
• The work should be started from such a point that it will not be
necessary to walk over any areas that have been cleaned.
• When moving the PW 10 forwards, the valve trigger should be
released.

2.4 Putting out of operation
• Switch off the brush drive (Fig. F /3).
• Putthepuzzi outofoperation.
3. Servicing
3.1 After each occasion of use
• Rinse the PW 10 with clean water.
• Remove any fluff and dirt from around the brush.
• Check the spray pattern of the nozzle mouthpiece. If the spray is irregular clean the
nozzle and nozzle mouthpiece.
• If the suction power decreases - Clean the suction hose and suction nozzles.
3.2 Every six months
• Check the toothed belt for wear and tension; replace if necessary.
• Check the brush for wear, replace if necessary.
4. Brush replacement
• Unscrew the 3 nuts and remove the cover (Fig. F /1).
• Remove the toothed belt.
• Unscrew the screw at the end of the brush.
• On the opposite side, remove the mounting plate by unscrewing the two screws and
remove the brush (Fig. F /2).
• Fit the new brush in the reverse order.
If the brush has been blocked so that the motor has switched itself off.
Remedy: • Switch off the brush drive motor (Fig. F /3).
• Check the brush for contamination and remove any object that may have
prevented its rotation.
• Unscrew the protective cap and press in the safety switch with the blade of
a screwdriver (Fig. F /4).
• Then screw the cap back in place.
