1. Carefully unpack all parts from
shipping container and place paper
sorter onto a soft, protective
surface. Identify parts below from
the “Hardware Pack” diagram &
Figure 4.
2. Prior to installation of paper sorter,
certain components must be
removed from overhead cabinet, if
present. Remove optional task light
from under cabinet shelf. Remove
valance from under overhead
cabinet (Figure 1) and retain to
reinstall after step 6.
3. If required, place the optional
tackboard into position (Figure 2)
at this time, prior to installing paper
sorter. Later, in step 4, six #8 x 11/4"
wood screws will be used to secure
6” bracket to back panel through
the optional tackboard. Caution:
That is the only use for #8 x
11/2" screws.
4. Position the paper sorter assembly
up under the lower shelf of the
overhead cabinet as illustrated
(Figure 3) and mark a line onto the
shelf underside at the center divider
location to indicate where the
center bracket will be installed.
Remove the paper sorter assembly
and position small, 11/2" bracket
onto the line to mark, then pre-drill
the mounting holes to underside of
cabinet shelf (take care not to drill
to deep). Attach the small 11/2"
angle bracket to the underside of
the shelf using #8 x 5/8" wood
screws (Figures 3 & 4).

Assemble units as described herein only. To do otherwise
may result in instability. All screws, nuts and bolts must be
tightened securely and must be checked periodically after
assembly. Failure to assemble properly, or to secure parts
may result in assembly failure and injury.

5. Position the paper sorter up under
the overhead cabinet (Figure 4)
and secure it in position using 6”
angle brackets (mark and pre-drill
first) as illustrated in Figure 5.
Attach one 6” angle bracket at each
end, and two 6” angle brackets
equally spaced along the underside
back of the paper sorter assembly.
Use six #8 x 5/8" wood screws per
bracket, securing paper sorter to
overhead cabinet back and side.
Caution: Six #8 x 11/4" wood
screws are supplied and are
only to be used when secur-
ing bracket through optional
tackboard to back panel of
overhead cabinet.
6. Complete the installation of the
small 11/2" bracket located at center
divider using #8 x 5/8" screws
(Figure 5).
7. Re-install the task light and/or
valance to the underside of the
paper sorter as required.
