Handling and Safety Precautions
These precautions should be strictly observed in order to ensure safe,
long-term use of the product.
The following precautions should be observed particularly strictly:
1. Thissimulatorismadetohavethesamefeelasthatofalivingbody.Unduehandlingmaycause
breakageofthesimulator.
2. Thismodelhasadistinctiveodorresultingfromthematerialsitismadefromhoweverisnot
harmfultothebodyorindicateanyproblemwithquality.Thisdistinctiveodorwillweakenover
time.Theproductisalsocoatedinbabypowderatthetimeofmanufactureandthesmellof
babypowdermayremainontheproduct.
3. Whenyoupracticecleaningordisinfectingofthepubicarea,pleaseusewater.Useofalcohol
maycausebreakageofthesimulator.
 Useofcoloreddisinfectantliquidmaycausepigmenttobefixedtothesimulatorsothatthe
pigmentcannotberemoved.
4. Asforthelubricant,pleaseuseK-Ytmlubricatingjelly.PleasedonotuseK-Y®gel,asitmay
increasetheinsertionresistanceofthecatheter.
5. Pleasedonotuseoilylubricant(oliveoiletc.),alcohollubricant,andlubricantcontainingorganic
solvent.Thesemaycausebreakageofthesimulator.
6. Pleaseusecathetersof14Frand16Fr.
7. Pleasecheckthestateofthecatheterbeforeinsertingthecatheter.Pleasedonotuseacatheter
thatisdegradedordeformed.Suchacatheterisdi󱐰culttoinsert.
8.Wheninsertingthecatheter,pleaseapplythelubricanteachtime.
9. Ifitisdi󱐰culttoinsertthecatheter,pleaseincreasetheamountofthelubricanttobeapplied
oruseanothercatheter(firmsiliconecatheterorcatheterwiththinnerbaloonpartetc).The
simulatormaybreakifsuchacatheterisforcedtobeinserted.
10.Whenindwellingthecatheter,pleaseinflatetheballoonafterinsertingthecatheterapartfrom
theballoonendportionbyadistanceequaltoorgreaterthan4cm.Indwellingofthecatheter
inanintermediateofthevalvecausesthevalveandthecathetertobebroken.Pleaseprovidea
markeronthecatheterbeforecommencingtrainingtoensurethatthecathetertipisinsertedby
adistanceequaltoorgreaterthan4cmbeforeinflatingtheballoon.

11.Afteruse,pleasewashthesimulatorandthecatheterwellwithwater.Ifthelubricantdries
andhardens,itmayinterferewiththeuseofthesimulator.
12.Pleasecheckthestateofthevalveateveryuse.Ifthevalveisbroken,itmaycausealeakage
ofwater.
13.Oilcomponentsmaycomeoutofthegenitalskin.Afteruse,pleasedonotkeepthegenital
skinattachedtothesimulator.Pleasewrapitincookingpaper,gauze,etc.,putitintoan
attachedreclosablepolybag,andkeepit.Foradetailedstoragemethod,pleaserefertothe
washingandstoragemethodsonpage15.
14.Applycommerciallyavailablebabypowdertoreducefrictionifyoumindstickinessofthe
genitalskinorafteritiswashedwithwaterfollowinguse.
15.Thegenitalskinmaydeformovertime.Pleasecheckthestateofthegenitalskineverythree
yearsafterpurchase.Ifanydeformationthatcouldaffectthefunctionofthesimulatoris
found,considerreplacingitwithanewone.
16.Youmayobserveairbubblesordarkerareasinthegenitalskin.Thesewereformedduring
production;however,theydonota󱐯ectthestrengthofthegenitalskinbecauseitismadeof
amaterialresistanttotearing.
17.Pleasedonotplaceobjectsonthesimulator.Otherwise,thesimulatormaybedeformed.
18.Pleasedonotkeepthesimulatorincontactwithprintedmatter.Print,suchasletters,may
transfertothesimulatorandbexedthere.
19.Whenstoringthesimulator,pleaseselectaplacethatisnotsubjecttodirectsunlightand
ultravioletrays.
20.Thisproductisintendedforuseinstandardoperatingenvironments.Donotuseitinheavy
industrialsettings.
21.Thismodelusesurethanefoamforsomeofitsparts,andmaybesusceptibletodamagefrom
peststhatareattractedtourethanefoam(suchasinsectsintheantfamily).
 Whenstoringthismodel,ensurethatthoroughmeasuresaretakentopreventpestdamage
beforestoring.Thecompanywillnotbeinvolvedwithorheldliableforpestdamagethat
occursduringstorage.

Outline
Thesimulatorcanbemountedonahumanbodyoradollsothataseriesoftechniquesregarding
catheterizationandenemacanbepracticed.Thefeelofthelabiaandresistanceofthecatheterto
itsinsertionarecloselysimilartothatofalivingbody.Ifacatheterizationcatheterisappropriately
inserted,urine(water)flowsout.
Features
・Thesimulatorisofanactualsizebywhichacatheterizationandglycerineenemaforanadult
femalecanbepracticed.
・Sincethesimulatorisofastrap-ontype,itcanbemountedonahumanbodyoramodeldoll
sothatthepracticecanbeperformed.
・Bymountingthesimulatoronahumanbody,thefeelingofapatientcanbesimulated.
Also,bymountingthesimulatoronasimulationpatient,techniquescanbepracticedwhile
communicatingwiththesimulationpatient.
・Sincesoftandstretchablematerialsareusedforthepubicarea,theappearanceandfeelare
realistictogivepresencewhenpracticing.
・Aseriesoftechniquesofcatheterizationsuchasdisinfectingofapubicarea,andinsertingand
removingofacathetercanbepracticed.
・Cleaningtechniquescanbeperformed.
・Theattachedglycerineenematorcanbeinsertedthroughtheanustotherectum.Thisenables
thepracticefortheglycerineenema.

3. Handling Method
3-1AssemblingofSimulator
1. Pleaseconnectthebagforirrigatortothefemalestrap-ontypebladdertube,andputwater
 intothebagforirrigator.Pleaseopenaclamp,llthefemalestrap-ontypebladdertube 
 withwater,closetheclamp,andattachthebladdervalvetothebagforirrigator.
2.Pleaseinsertthefemalestrap-ontypebladdertubeintothestrap-ontypeframe.

3.PleaseinserttheO-ringintotheconnectorofthefemaleurethralpart.
4. Pleaseconnectthefemaleurethralpartandthefemalestrap-ontypebladdertubewhile 
 adjustingtheirpositionssothatthefemaleurethralpartisxedintheopeningofthe
 strap-ontypeframe.
5.Pleaseinsertthestrap-ontyperectumconnectingconnectorintothestrap-ontypeframe.

6.Pleaseconnectthestrap-ontyperectumconnectingconnectortothedraintube.
7. Pleaseputtheanalportionofthefemalegenitalskinonthestrap-ontyperectum 
 connectingconnector.Aftertheconnectorisinserteddeepintotheanalportion,pleaset
 andxthepositionofthefemalegenitalskintothestrap-ontypeframe.
8.Pleaseinserttheprojectionofthefemaleurethralpartintotheurethralcanallocatedonthe
 reversesideofthefemalegenitalskinsothattheprojectioniscovered.Thenxthefemale
 urethralpartandthefemalegenitalskinwithhookandloopfasteners.
9.Pleaseattachandxthepositionofthefemalegenitalskintothestrap-ontypeframe.

1.Pleaseremovethefrontbeltandrearbeltfromthewaistbelt.
2.Pleasewearthewaistbeltandadjusttheadjusteraccordingtowaistsize.
3.Pleasepasstherearbeltthroughthewaistbelt,andtandxthepositionofthepubicarea
 withhookandloopfasteners.

3-3InsertionofCatheterizationCatheter
1.Pleaseopentheclampforirrigatortubeandcheckwhetherornotthewaterleaksfromthe
 simulator.
 *Whenpracticingthecleaningordisinfectingofthepubicarea,pleaseusewaterinsteadof
 disinfectionliquid.
2.Pleaseapplylubricantonthedistalendofthecatheterforabout4to5cmandinsertthe 
 catheter.
*Ifitisdi󱐰culttoinsertthecatheter,pleasecheckthetechniquesandinsertitagain.Inthis
 case,pleaseremovemoisturefromthecatheterandincreasetheamountofthelubricant 
 tobeapplied.Also,pleaseconsiderusingothertypesofcatheters(rmsiliconecatheteror
 catheterwiththinnerbaloonpartetc).Thesimulatormaybebrokenifhecatheterisforced
 tobeinserted.
 *Ifitisdi󱐰culttoinsertthecatheter,pleaseusewatermixedwithasmallamount
(approx5%)ofsurfactant(neutraldetergent)asurine.
 *Iftheinsertionofthecatheterisrepeatedapluralityoftimes,watermayaccumulateinthe
 urethralcanal.
3. Pleasechecktheoutflowoftheurine(water).Ifurinedoesnotflowout,checkthefollowing:
 -Whetherthecatheterpassesthroughthevalve;
 -Whethertheclampforirrigatortubeisopen;and
 -Theamountofwaterinthebagforirrigatorisreducedtoasmallamount.
4.Whenindwellingthecatheter,pleaseinflatetheballoonafterinsertingthecatheterapart
 fromtheballoonendportionbyadistanceequaltoorgreaterthan4cm.Indwellingofthe
 catheterinanintermediateofthevalvecausesthevalveandthecathetertobebroken.Please
 provideamarkeronthecatheterbeforecommencingtrainingtoensurethatthecathetertip
 isinsertedbyadistanceequaltoorgreaterthan4cmbeforeinflatingtheballoon.

5.Oncethecatheterisinserted,pleaseremovethemoisturefromitswettip,applythelubricant
 eachtime,andtheninsertthecatheter.Ifthelubricantisappliedwherewaterremains,the 
 lubricantslideseasilyo󱐯ofthecatheter.Thismakesitdi󱐰culttoinsertthecatheter.
3-4Enema
1. Pleaseprepareabucketetc.underadeskorabedandputthedistalendofthedraintubeinit.
2.Pleasetandxthepositionoftheanusofthestrap-ontypeframetothebody,andadjustthe
 lengthofthebelt.
 PleaserefertothepositionofthemodelduringenemaasshownintheFigureinSection3-2(5)
 onpage10.
3.Pleaseapplylubricanttothedistalendofaglycerineenemator,insertitintotheanus,andpour
 enemaliquid(water)intoit.Atthistime,pleaselowerthedistalendofthedraintubetoa 
 positionbelowtheanus.Otherwise,theenemaliquid(water)mayflowbackwardandstain 
 clothing.
3-5Removal
1. Pleaseclosetheclampofthebagforirrigator.
2.Pleaseremovethebeltsandthestrap-ontypeframe,andthenremovethedraintubefrom
 thestrap-ontyperectumconnectingconnector.
 *Pleasepayattentiontotheoutflowofthewater. 

3.Pleaseremovethefemalegenitalskinfromthestrap-ontypeframewiththefemale
 urethralpart,thefemalestrap-ontypebladdertube,andthestrap-ontyperectum 
 connectingconnectorconnected.Atthistime,pleaseremoveslowlywhileholdingthearea
 ofthehookandloopfastenersothatitdoesnotpeelo󱐯fromthefemalegenitalskin.
4.Pleaseremovethestrap-ontyperectumconnectingconnectorfromthefemalegenitalskin.
5.Pleaseremovethefemaleurethralpartfromthefemalegenitalskin.
 Atthistime,pleaseremoveslowlywhileholdingtheareaofthehookandloopfastenerso
 thatitdoesnotpeelo󱐯fromthefemalegenitalskin.

6.Pleaseremovetheconnectorforconnectingthefemaleurethralpartandthefemalestrap-on
 typebladdertube.
 *Atthistime,pleasepayattentiontoalossoftheO-ring.
7. Pleaseremovethebladdervalvefromthefemalestrap-ontypebladdertube,anddrainthe
 waterinthetube.
8.Pleasewashthefemaleurethralpart,thebladdervalve,thefemalestrap-ontypebladder 
 tube,thefemalegenitalskin,andthestrap-ontyperectumconnectingconnectorwellwith
 waterafteruse.

4. Washing and Storage Methods
1. Pleaseflushthelubricantthathasadheredtothefemaleurethralpart,thebladdervalve,the
 femalestrap-ontypebladdertube,etc.wellwithwater.Ifthelubricantdriesandhardens,it
 mayinterferewiththeuseofthesimulator.
2.Pleaseremovemoisturewell,drythesimulatorandthenputitintoastoragebag.
3. Oilcomponentsmaycomeoutofthefemalegenitalskin.Afterusingthesimulator,pleasedo
 notkeepthefemalegenitalskinattachedtothemainbody.Pleasewrapitincooking
 paper,gauze,etc.,putitintoanattachedreclosablepolybag,andkeepittherein.Pleasewrap
 thefemalegenitalskingentlysuchthatwrinklesarenotgeneratedonit.
4.Pleaseapplybabypowderthatiscommerciallyavailable,ifyoumindstickinessofthe
 femalegenitalskin.
5. Asforstainsonthesimulator,pleaseuseneutraldetergentthatiswatereddownandwipe
 o󱐯thestainswithwetgauzeetc.
 *Pleasedonotusesolventssuchasthinnerandbenzene.
