Please read and understand entire instructions before starting installation.

 Itistheinstallers’responsibilitytomakesureallfasteners(including
pre-assembled)aretightenedbeforeoperationofmotorcycle.Küryakynwillnotwarranty
componentsthatarelostduetoimproperinstallation.Periodicmaintenancemaybe
required.
 ThisheadlampisDOTapproved,buthasnotundergoneinternationalcertification
andthereforeisnotrecommendedforH-DInternationalmodels.


 Removethescrewonthebottomofyour
OEMtrimring.Thisscrewwillnotbere-used.Pullouton
thebottom(forward)thenliftup(tounhookthespring)
toremovethistrimring.Therubbergasketshould
remaininthetrimring.
 Removethe3screwsthatholdtheOEM
retainingringinplacesecuringthestockheadlamp.See
PIC.1.Thesescrewswillbereused.Unplugthestock
headlampfromthewireharnessandremove.





 Removethe4screws(ifyouhaveaFLHTorFLHX)orthe7screws(ifyouhaveaFLHR)that
holdthestockbackingplate/adjusterassemblytothebike.Thesescrewswillbereused.SeePIC.2.

IfyouhaveaFLHR,thereare7screwsthatholdthebackingplate/adjusterassemblytothe
Nacelle.Thesescrewsthreadintorubberwellnuts.Specialcareisneededtoremoveandinstall
thesescrews.Whenlooseningthescrewsdonotpushtoohardonthescrew;letthescrew
cometowardsyouasitisbeingremoved.Pushingtoohardonthesescrewswillpushthewell
nutintothenacellemakingdisassemblymoredifficult.Wheninstallingthesescrewsreversethis
procedurebynotpushingintoohardonthescrews.
 Installtheouter7-inchchromeringusing
thestockscrewsinthereverseorderyouremoved
thestockbackingplate/adjusterassemblyinSTEP3.
Makesureyouhavethismountturnedsothatthe
angledscrewtabisonthebottomandtheopening
forthespringonthestockOEMtrimringontop.See
PIC.3.
 Installtheinner7-inchmountusingthe
suppliedthree1⁄4”-28x1”SocketHeadCapScrews
andadjustmentsprings.Thespringgoesbetweenthe
outerringandtheinnermount.SeePIC.4.The
screwatthe5o-clockpositioncanbesnugged
up(seePIC.5)Thescrewatthe12o-clock
position(seePIC.6)adjuststhelightvertically
(upanddown)andtheoneatthe9o-clock
position(seePIC.7)adjuststhelightshorizontal
(sidetoside)movement.
 Cutthreepiecesfromthe.75x2.95”
x.125SingleSidedAdhesiveFoamPadand
affixtothreeplacesontheinner7”mountring,
centerthembetweentheindexingnotches.
Thesefoampadswillensurethelampfits
snuglywhentheOEMretainingringis
reinstalled.

