Step 1:
Preparation:
The Fork Mount Assembly [D] has the option to be mounted to either the Top or Side of the GearCage railing.
[See Figures 1 & 2 for Top Mount illustration; See Figures 3 & 4 for Side Mount illustration].
Install the Fork Mount to the GearCage railing in the desired position using four (4) Steel Nuts and Washers
[C] and two (2) U-Bolts [B] as shown. Do not fully secure connections at this time, hand-tighten only until
nal bike t is complete.
Using the Fork-IT Bicycle mount system (sold
individually; one kit per bike), multiple bikes can be
transported on the GearCage Cargo Carrier (or other
rooftop & hitch carriers with 1 inch railings or Yakima/
Thule compatible bars) with numerous mounting
options for placement.
See the Bicycle Position Overview on Pages 4 and 5 before beginning assembly to plan for bicycle position
before installation of Fork-IT system. Final placement will depend on number of bicycles to be transported,
intended interior cargo and user preference.

Install the Rear Wheel Stop using two (2)
Steel Nuts and Washers [C] and one (1)
U-Bolt [B] as shown with the Rear Stop [A]
resting on top of the GearCage rails and
the U-Bolt [B] secured from underneath as
shown. (Review the bicycle position overview
on Pages 4-5 to conrm placement [Figure 5
& 6]. Hand -tighten only at this time.
NOTE: The Rear Stop’s “peg” can be
installed and pointed in any of the 6 available
directions, interior, exterior, left & right, top &
bottom.
NOTE: Like the Fork Mount assembly, the
Rear Wheel Stop can also be “Side Mounted.”
See Figures 3 & 4 on Page 1 for a “Side
Mount” example.
With both the Fork Mount assembly and the Rear Wheel Stop attached, conrm bicycle t and nal placement.
Fully tighten the hardware and secure the Fork Mount assembly and the Rear Wheel Stop to the carrier railing.
NOTE: The Fork-IT system is for
skewer mount application only
(not for thru axle).
Prepare your bicycle for mounting
by removing the bicycle’s front tire
exposing the “Drop-Outs” (refer to
your Bicycles Manual for proper
tire removal).
Loosen the Tension Nut located
on the Skewer and conrm
the Quick Release Arm is in
the “Open” position [Figure 7].
Lower your bicycles fork onto the
skewer and secure your bicycle
by tightening the Tension Nut and
moving the Quick Release Arm to
the “Closed” position [Figure 8].

With the bicycle rear tire
resting against the Rear
Wheel Stop’s “Peg”,
stretch the Adjustable
Rubber Strap with
the Hammerhead end
through the tire and
reconnect to a hole
position that is one hole
tighter than unstreched
[Figure 9 & 10].
NOTE: The Adjustable
Strap should be taut
with absolutely no slack.
Operation:
To avoid loss/damage to products/bicycle as well as personal injury, always conrm the
Fork Mount Assembly, Rear Wheel Stop and Bicycle are fully secured before transit.
Do not use this product for purposes other than those for which they were designed.
Failure to follow the guidelines of the product’s instructions will void the warranty.
Never allow the total width of the Fork-IT mount appartus and bicycles to exceed past the
width of the tow vehicles mirrors.
Keep equipment away from vehicle’s hot exhaust ow by at least 6 inches.

It is highly recommended to plan your bicycle placement before installing the Fork-IT mount assembly.
Below are some examples of Fork-IT Mount and bicycle placement on the GearCage carrier.
NOTE: Example placement has been organized for maximized cargo space; actual placement may vary
depending on the number of bicycles, cargo, and sizes of the bicycles to be transported.

Including the bicycles positions available on Page 4 the GearCage FP-6 has more available congurations for
multiple bicycle transport. Below are some expanded examples of Fork-IT Mount and Bicycle placement that
are possible on the GearCage FP-6 only.
NOTE: For clearance purposes, never allow the carrier, bicycles and fork mount apparatus to exceed the width
of the tow vehicles mirrors.

Let’s Go Aero warrants this product to be free from defect in material and workmanship for one year (retain your sales receipt for your
records). Any product or part thereof found to be defective within that period will be replaced without charge provided that: (1) the prod-
uct was not misused; (2) no alterations or modications were made; (3) its failure was not a result of normal wear expected in the use of
the product; (4) the product or part is delivered, freight prepaid, to Let’s Go Aero. Manufacturers only obligation shall be to replace such
products or parts proved to be defective. A Return Merchandise Authorization is required prior to return. Please contact Let’s Go Aero
