2. The use of this leg exerciser is entirely at the user’s discretion. Please
read all instructions and safety information carefully before using this
product. We assume no responsibility for personal injury or property
damage sustained by or through using this product.
RESPONSIBILITIES
3. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of the
Verdure are adequately informed of all warnings and precautions.
4. Use the Verdure only as instructed in this manual.
5. Check the unit, power adapter, and remote for damage or loosened
external screws prior to each use. Tighten any loosened screws before
use. Do not use if damaged, faulty, or defective.
6. Place the Verdure on a sturdy, level surface, with at least eight feet of
clearance behind it. Do not place the Verdure on any surface that blocks
air openings. To protect the floor or carpet from damage, place an old
cloth or training mat under the Verdure.
7. Keep the Verdure indoors, away from moisture and dust. Do not use
outdoors. Do not store in a garage or covered patio, or near water.
DOS AND DON’TS
8. Do not sit, stand, or jump on the Verdure as this may damage the unit.
9. Do not use the Verdure with wet hands, feet, or clothes.
10. Do not operate the Verdure where aerosol products are used or where
oxygen is being administered.
11. Keep children and pets away from the Verdure at all times.
12. Never allow more than one person to use the Verdure at a time.
13. Keep power cord and surge suppressor away from all heat sources.
14. Never leave the Verdure unattended while it is running. Always power-off
the unit and unplug the power cord when the Verdure is not in use.
EXERCISING
15. Users should consult with a medical professional before beginning a
new exercise program, especially those who are or may be pregnant,
or have recently given birth; people who have medical devices such
as pacemakers; people with malignant tumors, heart problems, blood
circulation disorders, osteoporosis, arrhythmia, or diabetes; people who
with spinal injuries, fractures, or herniated discs.
16. Place your feet in position on the pedals before beginning exercise.
17. Always wear appropriate clothing and socks when using the Verdure.
18. Stop using the Verdure if you feel tired or dizzy.
19. The Verdure is intended for in-home use only. Do not use the Verdure in
any commercial, rental, or institutional setting.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE, AND STORAGE
20. DANGER: Always power off and unplug the power cord immediately after
use, before cleaning, moving, storing, or performing the maintenance and
adjustment procedures described in this manual.
21. Use a slightly damp cloth or soft towel to wipe away dirt or moisture. Do
not use abrasive, solvent, or chemical cleaners or harsh detergents.
22. Never remove the motor hood unless instructed to do so by an authorized
service representative. Servicing other than the procedures in this manual
should be performed by an authorized service representative only.
23. Never insert or drop any object into any opening.
24. Store in a well-ventilated area free of dust, with low humidity and out of
direct sunlight.
25. When storing for a long time, remove the batteries from the remote
control and cover the unit to keep out dust and dirt.
