Keep the Following in Mind:
• A responsible person within your organizaon should decide on a case-by-case basis whether one or more caregivers are
needed.
• Ensure that this accessory selected meets the paent’s needs with reference to model, size, fabric and design.
• Plan the transfer operaon carefully to make it as safe and smooth as possible.
• Before liing, check that the liing accessory hangs vercally and can move freely.
• Although Liko’s sling bars are equipped with latches, parcular care should be taken: Before the paent is lied from the
underlying surface, but aer the straps have been fully extended, make sure the straps are properly hooked to the sling bar.
• Never li a paent higher o the underlying surface than is needed to complete the liing and transfer procedure.
• Never leave a paent unaended during a liing situaon.
• Make sure the wheels on the bed are locked during operaon. This is especially important when turning the paent.
• Use bed rails when turning the paent, especially if only one caregiver is performing the operaon.
• Make sure that the RepoSheet accessory’s unconnected strap loops do not become stuck, for example, in the bed during
use.
• During transfers, the caregivers should hold on to the sling bar and/or support the paent from underneath. Avoid pulling
the li straps as that can damage the RepoSheet accessory.
• Always work ergonomically.
IMPORTANT!
Moving a paent always involves a certain amount of risk, therefore, you should study the instrucon guide for both the li and
liing accessories before use. It is important that you clearly understand the contents of the instrucon guide. Only personnel,
who are trained in the product’s use, should use the equipment. Ensure that the liing accessories are suitable for the li used.
Observe cauon and care during use. As a caregiver, you are always responsible for the paent’s safety. You must ensure you
assess and are informed of the paent’s ability to handle the move/transfer. If there is something you are unclear about, contact
the manufacturer or the supplier.
Maximum Load
Dierent maximum allowable loads may apply to dierent products in the assembled li system: rail system, li unit, sling bar,
sling and other accessories. For the total li system, the lowest max. allowable load indicated for the respecve product in the
system applies.
Care and Maintenance
Inspect RepoSheet accessory regularly, especially aer it has been washed. Pay parcular aenon to wear and damage to
seams, fabric, li straps and loop straps. Do not use damaged products.
If there is something you are unclear about, contact the manufacturer or the supplier.

Expected Life Time
The product has an expected life me of 2 years during normal use. Life me varies depending on fabric, use frequency,
washing procedure, and weight carried.
Periodic Inspecon
The product must be inspected at least once every 6 months. More frequent inspecons might be required if the product is
used or washed more oen than normal. See Liko’s protocol Periodic Inspecon for the respecve product.
