matches the supply voltage required by

Before each connection to the power
supply, check the product for any

Do not use the power cord as a
carrying handle�
The power cable of this product cannot
be replaced; if the power cable is
damaged, the product must be

LED rope light 1(see Fig� A) with wet
hands�
Unwrap the cable completely before
using it�
You should only connect the product to
an easily accessible power outlet
socket so that you can quickly
disconnect it from the power supply in
the event of a fault�
Always unplug the mains power cable
before assembling, dismantling or
cleaning the product�
Always disconnect the product from the
mains power supply if it is not going to
be used for an extended period (e�g�
holiday) or if you want to set it up in a
different place�
Do not immerse the product in water or
any other liquids�
Keep the product away from naked
ames and hot surfaces.
Never tamper with or modify the
product�
Do not open up the casing and only
have the product repaired by qualied
professionals� To that end you should
contact a specialist repairer� No
liability or warranty claims are
accepted in cases where repairs have
been carried out by unauthorised
persons or the product has been
incorrectly wired or used�
The LEDs are not replaceable� Once
the light source reaches the end of its
service life, the product must be
replaced�
Do not open or cut the LED rope light

This product has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other) as a
feature to reduce the risk of electric
shock. This plug will t in a polarized
outlet only one way� If the plug does
not t fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not use with
an extension cord unless plug can be
fully inserted� Do not alter or replace
the plug�

not just light, but also heat�

trimmers, shears or similar cutting tools

Secure this exible light using only the
hangers or clips provided� Do not
secure this product or its cord with
staples, nails, or like means that may
damage the insulation or permanently
attach to the building structure�
Do not puncture, cut, shorten, or splice
the exible lighting.
Do not route the cord or exible
lighting through walls, doors, windows
or any like part of the building
structure�
Do not use if there is any damage to
the light or cord insulation� Inspect
periodically�

Safety instructions for
mounting
Make sure that the product is installed
only by competent persons�
The product can be mounted on all
normally ammable surfaces with the
mounting material included in the
scope of delivery�
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Decide prior to mounting where
the product is to be mounted�
Before drilling the xing holes, make
sure that there are no gas or water
pipes or power cables that could be
drilled into or damaged in the area
where you are drilling� Use a drill to drill
holes in the wall�
Before mounting, check that the surface
is suitable for the mounting material
and weight of the product� If you are
not sure, ask a professional electrician
for advice�
Do not use sharp and/or pointed
objects such as wire, nails or staples to
fasten the product�
Do not attach any additional objects to
the product�
Avoid excessive bending of the LED
rope light 1� It causes damage to the
insulation�
The bending radius of the tube must
not be less than the following values:
2 cm�
Avoid excessive heating of the product�
No more than two tube sections may
cross or run parallel to each other�
WARNING! For outdoor use,
the following safety precautions
should be observed:
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)
protection should be provided on the
circuits or outlet to be used�
Receptacles are available having

built-in GFCI protection for this
measure of safety�
Use only outdoor extension cords, such
as type SW, SOW, STW, STOW, SJW,
SJOW, SJTW, or SJTOW� This
designation is marked on the wire of
the extension cord�

zAssembly
Note: take the product out of its
packaging and remove all packing
material�
Check that all package contents are
present�
Check if the product or individual parts
are damaged� Should you detect
damage, do not use the product�
Please contact the retailer via the
service address indicated�
Unwind the LED light tube 1off the reel
7(see Fig� B)�
Attach the LED light tube to the desired
surface using the supplied cable ties 5
(see Fig� A) except building, permanent
xtures, or other similar structures.
Alternatively, you can also use the supplied
fastening clips 6(see Fig� A) for fastening�
For this purpose, rst screw the mounting
clips 6to a stable surface using the
supplied screws 4using a Phillips
screwdriver (not included in the scope of
delivery)�
Press the LED light tube into the openings of
the fastened mounting clips 6� If
necessary, you can also additionally x the
LED rope light to the fastening clips 6
using the cable ties 5�
zCommissioning
TRIPPING HAZARD! Make
sure that the power cable 2
and the LED rope light tube 1
are routed in such a way that no one
can walk or trip over them�
Plug the mains plug into a socket that has
been correctly installed�
zOperation
Press the button 3(see Fig� A) 1x to switch
on the product� Once the product is turned
on, the button turns green and the product
lights up permanently�
Press the button 3a second time to
activate the timer function� When the timer
function is on, the product is on for 6 hours
and then off for 18 hours� The button will
light up yellow�
Press the button 3a third time to switch off
the product� Alternatively, pull the power
plug out of the socket�
zCleaning and storage
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Always unplug the mains power
cable from the socket before
cleaning the product�
For reasons of electrical safety, the
product must never be cleaned with
abrasive cleaning agents or immersed
in water�
Do not use solvents, gasoline or the
like� This would damage the product�

Use only a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning� If
the product is very dirty, dampen the cloth
slightly�
When the product is not in use, store in the
packaging in a dry place�

administrative bodies�

What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
· Damage, breakage or inoperability due to
defect�
· Damage not caused by normal wear and
tear or failure to follow the safety and
maintenance instructions provided in the
user manual�
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage
caused by:
· Normal wear and tear of the product,
including fragile parts (such as switches,
glass, etc�);
· Improper use or transport;
· Disregarding safety and maintenance
instructions;
· Accidents or acts of nature (e�g� lightning,
re, water, etc.);
· Tampering with the product (such as
removing cover, unscrewing screws etc�)
Consequential and incidental damages are
also not covered under this warranty�
However, some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so this limitation or
exclusion may not apply to you�
What is the period of coverage and
warranty resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date of
purchase� At our discretion, product will
either be refunded or replaced�
What will we not do?
We will not:
· Start a new warranty period upon product
exchange;
· Repair product�
