con los mejores componentes para obtener la máxima durabilidad y prestaciones. Este manual de instrucciones está escrito para que disponga de una
forma clara y sencilla las instrucciones y consejos del modelo. En el caso de que un niño quiera utilizar este modelo, un adulto deberá acompañarlo du-

CoNfIGURACIóN dEL S10 tWIStER ANAtoMy of tHE S10 tWIStER
COMPONENTES RC EN EL MODELO:
Los componentes RC de un modelo son:
Emisora, Receptor, Variador, Servo de dirección.
Emisora: Es el dispositivo de control. Existen dos tipos de emisoras, con
sticks y con volante. Cada movimiento se transforma en señales de radio
emitidas a través de la señal.
Receptor: Recibe las señales de la emisora y las transforma en impulsos
de dirección para el servo de dirección, el de aceleración y el variador.
Servo de dirección: Transforma las señales recibidas del receptor en
movimientos mecánicos.
Variador electrónico: Transforma las señales recibidas desde el receptor
para controlar la potencia suministrada al motor.
COMPONENTS OF A RC UNIT:
The Components of a RC Unit are:
Transmitter, Receiver, electronic speed controller, steering servo.
Transmitter: Used as the control unit. There are two kinds of transmitters,
stick type or with a steering wheel. Movements are transformed into radio
signals which are transmitted through the antenna.
Receiver: Receives signals from the transmitter and converts them to stee-
ring impulses for the steering servo and controls the throttle servo or ESC.
Steering Servo: Transforms signals received from the receiver into me-
chanical steering movements.
Electronic Speed controller: Transforms signals received from the recei-
ver to control the power supplied to the motor.

CARGA DE LA BATERÍA CHARGING BATTERY
Conecte la batería al cargador incluido y conecte el cargador a la toma de red de 230V. El tiempo
estimado de carga para las baterías vacías es de 6 hrs. aproximadamente.
Connect the battery to the included wall-charger and plug the charger into a 230V power-socket.
Charging time for complete empty batteries is about 6h.
INSTALACIÓN BATERÍAS EMISORA TRANSMITTER BATTERY INSTALLATION
Abra el compartimento de la batería. Coloque ocho pilas AA de acuerdo con los símbolos de pola-
ridad. Cierre el compartimento de la batería. Encienda la emisora y compruebe el LED que indica el
voltaje de las baterías.
Le recomedamos: VTEC AA 3000UC (3000mAh) - #78221
Remove the battery cover from the transmitter. Insert eight new AA batteries according to the
polarity markings. Close the battery cover. Switch on the transmitter and check the LED for the
battery voltage.
Recommendation: VTEC AA 3000UC (3000mAh) - #78221
SOPORTE BATERÍA
BATTERY HOLDER
El S10 Twister dispone de un soporte que puede utilizarse para
baterías NiMH y LiPo. Si utiliza baterías NiMh, colóque el soporte
de tal manera que el relieve NiMh esté visible.
The S10 Twister has a battery holder included, which can be used
with NiMh and LiPo Batteries. If you use NiMh batteries, install the
battery holder that you can see the the engraving NiMh
Si utiliza baterías LiPo, coloque el soporte de la batería de tal ma-
nera que el relieve de LiPo quede hacia arriba. Siguiendo estos
pasos sus baterías siempre quedarán perfectamente fijadas a su
modelo.
If you use LiPo Packs, install the battery holder with the engra-
ving LiPo on the top. By following this advise your batteries will
always be perfectly fixed in your S10 Twister

INSTALACIÓN DEL VARIADOR ESC INSTALLATION
Saque el variador de la caja y quite el plástico de la cinta de doble cara en la parte inferior del mis-
mo. Coloque el variador en la parte libre del chasis, entre el receptor y el motor eléctrico. Asegúrese
de que la superficie con pegamento está libre de polvo o aceites. Pegue el variador fijamente al
chasis. Conecte el cable receptor del variador en la ranura libre (throttle/aceleración) del receptor. (El
cable negro tiene que hacer frente a la parte exterior del receptor).
Conecte el cable amarillo (+) y el azul (-) del variador con los cables del motor: amarillo/naranja =
(+), azul/negro = (-). Ahora fije los cables sueltos con las bandas de sujeción suministradas a la
parte superior del chasis, de tal manera que los cables no entren en contacto con las partes móviles
de la transmisión.
Take the ESC out of the package and remove the protection film from the double-sided tape at the
bottom side of the ESC. Place the ESC at the free area of the chassis plate, between the receiver
and the electric motor. Please make sure the glued surface is free of dust and oil. Insert the receiver
wire of the ESC into the free slot-in position (Throttle) at the receiver. (the black wire has to face to
the outside of the receiver)
Connect the yellow (+) and blue (-) motor wire of the ESC with the wires of the motor: yellow/oran-
ge = (+), blue/black = (-). Now fix the loose wires with the supplied zip ties safely to the upper
chassis plate, so no wires get into moving parts of the drive shaft.

INSTALACIÓN DEL CABLE DE LA ANTENA
INSTALLATION OF THE ANTENNA WIRE
Para ofrecer el máximo rango en su modelo RC y evitar interferencias, utilice
la tubo de la antena conjuntamente con el cable de la antena. Fíjelo en el aloja-
miento de plástico para la antena de su S10 Twister. NUNCA corte el cable de
la antena o podría afectar al funcionamiento de su receptor. El cable de antena
en modelos con emisoras con modulación 2,4 GHz es más corto que en las
moduladas en AM, pero también tiene que colocarlo por dentro del tubo de la
antena. La antena siempre debe estar lo más vertical posible. NUNCA doble la
antena por el interior de la carrocería. La antena siempre debe estar por fuera de
la carrocería del coche.
To assure the best possible function-range of the RC unit and to avoid interference,
please use the antenna tube with the antenna wire. Fix it with the rubber cap and
install it at the antenna holder in your S10 Twister. Do not cut the antenna wire
otherwise your receiver cannot work correctly. The antenna wire of your 2,4 GHz
System, which is shorter than the antenna of the AM System, has to be installed
in the antenna tube as well. The antenna always needs to be mounted straight
upwards. Please do not bend the antenna inside the body. The antenna always has
to reach outside the body.

ADVERTENCIAS
- Esto es un conjunto RC de altas prestaciones, el cual requiere un man-
tenimiento regular para obtener las máximas prestaciones. Si no realiza
un mantenimiento regular, el rendimiento del modelo se verá afectado.
LRP electronic dispone de todas las piezas y accesorios necesarios para
mantener las prestaciones de su coche al máximo.
- Lea detenidamente las instrucciones antes de empezar a utilizar el mode-
lo. Si no sigue los pasos mostrados en estas instrucciones podría averiar
su coche o resultar herido tanto usted como otras personas.
- Todas las instrucciones y precauciones descritas en este manual deben
seguirse rigurosamente para tener un funcionamiento seguro de su
modelo.
- Conduzca el vehículo en espacios grandes, sobretodo hasta que pueda
manejarlo con normalidad.
- No lo pilote sobre arena o hierba.
- Sea responsable cuando utilice modelos RC para evitar lesiones graves
personales y/o daños a la propiedad.
- Si no está familiarizado con modelos RC, es recomendable que le pre-
gunte a alguien que sí esté familiarizado con los vehículos RC.
Tenga en cuenta las siguientes directrices para poder disfrutar de su
modelo sin problemas.
- Evite utilizar el modelo bajo la lluvia o con humedad.
Podría dañar los componentes electrónicos y/o mecánicos.
Si su modelo resultara mojado, séquelo y límpelo lo antes posible.
- Nunca utilice el modelo durante una tormenta, ¡Peligro de muerte!
- No utilice el modelo en zonas con mucha gente y/o cerca de niños.
- No utilice el S10 Twister en la vía pública.
- Asegúrese de que nadie más está utilizando la misma frecuencia en
su área de uso.
- Utilice siempre baterías llenas para su receptor y emisora para evitar
una pérdida de control sobre su vehículo.
- Apague primero el receptor y a continuación la emisora. Así preven-
drá una pérdida de control sobre su modelo.
- No utilice el coche de noche o en condiciones en las que pueda perder
de vista su modelo.
- Nunca pilote su modelo sin carrocería.
- Si el modelo se comporta de forma extraña, deténgalo inmediata-
mente y compruebe la causa. No vuelva a utilizar el modelo hasta
que haya solucionado el problema ya que podría ocasionarle más
problemas y accidentes imprevistos.
- No ponga los dedos en las partes móviles y giratorias del modelo.
- Tenga cuidado con la temperatura del motor y del variador. Es reco-
mendable dejar enfriar el vehículo después de cada carrera.

- This is a high performance R/C kit, and it requires regular mainte-
nance for best performance. If you don’t do regular maintenance the
performance will suffer. LRP electronic has all the necessary parts and
accessories available to keep your car performing at its best.
- Please read and understand the instructions carefully before proceeding.
Failure to follow these instructions can cause injury to yourself or others.
You might also cause property damage or damage your kit.
- All instructions and precautions outlined in this manual should be strictly
followed to ensure safe operation of your model.
- Drive the vehicle in a very large space, especially until you get the feel of
driving the product.
- Do not run in sand or gras.
- To prevent any serious personal injury and/or damage to property, please
be responsible when operating all remote controlled models.
- If you are not familiar with RC vehicles, we recommend that you ask
someone familiar with RC vehicles for advice.
Please remind the following guidelines for trouble-free driving-fun.
- Avoid running in rain or wet conditions.
The electronic and mechanical components could be damaged.
If your S10 Twister got wet, please dry it up directly and clean it.
- Do not drive your S10 Twister during a thunder storm! Mortal danger!
- Avoid running the car in crowded areas and near children.
- Do not run the S10 Twister on public roads.
- Make sure that no one else is using the same frequency in your
running area.
- Always use fresh batteries for your transmitter and receiver to avoid
loosing control of the model.
- Turn Off receiver first, then turn off transmitter. This will prevent the
car from loosing control.
- Do not operate your car at night, or anytime your line of sight to the
model may be obscured or impaired in any way.
- Always run your car with the body shell mounted.
- Please do not run in small or confined areas.
- When the model is behaving strangely, immediately stop the car
and check for the reason. Do not operate the car until the problem is
solved. This may lead to further trouble and unforeseen accidents.
- Do not put fingers inside rotating and moving parts.
- Be careful with the motor temperature. It could be better to wait a
few minutes after every run to cool down the motor.

INSTALACIÓN DE LAS BATERÍAS BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Coloque 8 pilas respetando la polaridad indicada en el compartimento de las baterías (8 pilas AA)
Load the eight batteries in accordance with the polarity marker on the battery tray (8 AA size
batteries)
Sustitución de las Baterías:
1. Retire la tapa del compartimento de las baterías.
2. Retire las pilas usadas.
3. Coloque 8 pilas AA nuevas respetando la polaridad indicada en el compartimento de las baterías.
4. Cierre el compartimento de las baterías.
5. Encienda la emisora y compruebe que se enciende el LED que indica el voltaje de la batería.
Battery Replacement:
1. Remove the battery cover from the transmitter.
2. Remove the old batteries.
3. Insert eight new AA batteries according to the polarity markings.
4. Close the battery cover.
5. Slide the power switch to the ON position and check the LED for the battery voltage.

TRIM ACELERACIÓN/DIRECCIÓN THROTTLE / STEERING TRIM
El Trim de Aceleración se utiliza para ajustar la posición neutral del servo aceleración/freno. Cuando
ajuste el variador, el trim de aceleración debe colocarse en ajuste neutral (centro).
El Trim de Dirección se utiliza para ajustar la posición neutral del servo de dirección.
Throttle Trim is used to set neutral position of the Throttle-/Brake-Servo. When setting up your ESC,
throttle trim should always be set to neutral (middle) setting.
Steering Trim is used to set neutral position of the Steering-Servo.
AJUSTE DE PUNTO FINAL (EPA)
END POINT ADJUSTMENT
El Ajuste de Punto Final deberá usarse cuando se estén realizando los ajustes de ángulo de dirección
y aceleración máxima/freno durante el proceso de montaje y ajuste del varillaje del modelo. Con el
Ajuste de Punto Final podrá ajustar el ángulo máximo del radio de giro. También se usa para ajustar
el recorrido máximo del servo para cada canal. Deberá siempre comprobar los varillajes mientras
realiza los ajustes de EPA.
EPA should be used when adjustments are being made to left/right steering angle and throttle high/
brake side during linkage setup. EPA adjusts the maximum angle causing a different turning radius. EPA
is used to adjust the maximum servo travel for each channel. Always check linkages while adjusting
EPA.
DUAL RATE DIRECCIÓN Y ACELERACIÓN
DUAL-RATE-TRIM STEERING AND THROTTLE / BRAKE
Los ajuste de Dual Rate le permiten ajustar el recorrido máximo del servo de dirección y aceleración.
Dual-Rate-Trim adjusts the overall steering- and throttle-/brake value. Therefore the dual rate trim
must be considered when setting EPA trim.

Para frenar empuje el gatillo adelante, para acelerar pulse el gatillo.

COMPROBACIONES ANTES DE USAR SU MODELO:
Antes de cada uso compruebe los puntos siguientes:
a) Extienda la antena y conecte la emisora (Con 2,4GHz levante la ante-
na).
b) Conecte la batería al variador.
c) Compruebe la correcta instalación de la antena del modelo (consulte
“Primeros Pasos” y a continuación conecte el variador.
d) Compruebe todas las funciones de la emisora y el coche antes de
empezar. Compruebe los servos.
e) Compruebe siempre el alcance de la emisora antes de usar el modelo.
f) Compruebe el servo de dirección y triméelo si el modelo no va recto.
g) Después de su uso, apague primero el coche, desconecte la batería
del variador y apague la emisora.
h) Tenga cuidado con la temperatura del variador y baterías. Déje enfriar
los componentes después de cada uso.
PRECAUCIÓN:
Motor y variador pueden calentarse en exceso y provocar lesiones.
i) Limpie el coche y compruebe posibles daños.
j) Aplique grasa o aceite a rodamientos, suspensión, piñones, etc.
k) Guarde coche y baterías por separado cuando no vaya a utilizarlo.
CHECK LIST FOR USING YOUR S10 TWISTER:
a) Pull-out the antenna and switch on the transmitter (fold up antenna at
2.4GHz)
b) Connect the battery to the speed controller.
c) Check the installation of the antenna wire (refer to quickstart), than
switch on the ESC.
d) Check all functions of the transmitter and the car before the start.
e) Always make a operating range check prior to use.
f) Check the steering servo and trim it, if the car does not run straight.
g) After running, please switch off the car, disconnect the battery from
the speed controller and switch off the transmitter.
h) Pay attention with the temperature of the speed controller and batte-
ries. Please let the components cool down after usage.
Attention:
Motor and Speed controller could be very hot - Risk of injury!
i) Clean the car and check if the car is damaged.
j) Apply grease or oil to bearings, suspension, gears, etc..
k) Store the car and the batteries separately when not using it.

Ejercicios de conducción
Cuando acaba de estrenar su modelo es recomendable realizar primero algunos

continuación puede probar a hacer un círculo alrededor de ambos botes. Pruebe en
ambas direcciones. Si cree que lo maneja sin problema alguno intente el siguiente
ejercicio haciendo un ocho entre los botes. Aquí también le recomendamos que
pruebe a hacerlo en ambas direcciones. Si tiene problemas para saber en qué direc-
ción debe realizar el giro, imagínese que está sentado en el coche. Si ha completa-
do los ejercicios con éxito, ya debe tener una buena sensación con su S10 Twister.
Driving excercises
When you take your new car out of the box it is recommended to make some
driving exercises. You need two empty cans or tins. Place them on a distance bet-
ween 5 and 10 meters of each other and then you can try to drive a circle around
the objects. Try both directions. If you feel safe try the next exercise and drive an
eight around the obstacles.
If you have problems to know in which direction you have to steer, try to imagine
that you are sitting in the car. That should help you to know what you have to do.
If you have completed the exercises successfully, you should have a good feeling
for your S10 Twister.

Optimice su estilo de conducción
Realizando entrenamientos continuamente mejorará cada vez más sus habilidades
de conducción. Es muy importante aprender sobre una aceleración y toma de
curvas efectiva.
Errores comunes:
Exceso de velocidad a la entrada de la curva, conducción por la línea de pista,
aceleración insuficiente a la salida de la curva. La imagen muestra la trayectoria
perfecta y la velocidad óptima para tomar una curva.
Cuando esté entrando en una curva intente entrar por la parte exterior de la misma
y reduzca la velocidad. En el centro de la curva es importante elegir una trayectoria
ceñida. En el vértice de la curva puede empezar a acelerar su coche poco a poco.
Como puede observar en la imagen, el mejor recorrido a realizar es entrando y saliendo en la curva por la parte exterior.
De esta forma, utilizará todo el ancho de la pista y conseguirá la mayor velocidad en curva. Con una velocidad alta en la
curva, no necesitará acelerar demasiado para alcanzar de nuevo la máxima velocidad. Al optimizar la toma de curvas,
conseguirá sacar segundos muy importantes a sus competidores.
Aceleración de su S10 Twister.
Dependiendo de la superficie y el tipo de neumático va a tener diferentes niveles de tracción.
Si conduce sobre Pista y Offroad, podrá apreciar que es mucho más difícil acelerar de forma eficiente en Pista.
La tracción perfecta se alcanza con la máxima aceleración cuando éstos tocan la mayor superficie posible y sin que
patinen. Es muy importante que practique con el gatillo y perfeccione el tacto.
También tiene la posibilidad de ajustar el embrague tipo “slipper” para conseguir la aceleración deseada.

Now you can start to optimize your driving style. It is important to learn an effective acceleration and cornering to be
faster than the other drivers.
Mistakes which you can do:
Speed at the beginning of the corner, choice of the racing line, inefficient acceleration out of the corner. The picture
shows the perfect racing line and the best corner speed.
When entering the corner try to use the outside of the track and lower your speed. In the middle of the corner it is im-
portant to choose a tight racing line. At corner apex you can start to accelerate your car slowly and efficient. As you can
see at the picture the best racing line is to use the outside of the track for entering and exiting of the corner. This way
you use the whole width of the track and so achieve the maximum corner speed. With a high corner speed you do not
need to accelerate so much to reach the maximum speed again. By optimizing your cornering, you will gain important
seconds over your competitors
Acceleration of your S10 Twister.
Referring to the surface and the tires your car can have different traction levels.
If you drive on an off-road track it is more difficult to accelerate efficient then on an on-road track.
Perfect traction is reached by maximum acceleration without wheel-spin and without dishing. So it is very important to
practice your feel in the throttle-finger.
You also have the possibility to setup the slipper clutch to achieve the acceleration you want to have.

Control your S10 Twister in the air.
The ability to control the off road car in the air while jumping, is an important skill
to learn. It can help shave seconds off your lap times during a race or more importantly, help prevent damages to your
S10 Twister due to hard landings. Use the throttle to bring the nose of the S10 Twister off roader up while in the air. Use
the brakes to bring the nose of the car down. The goal is to keep the car horizontal in flight to prevent damages. Note:
extreme jumping can damage your S10 Twister.

Revise su S10 Twister con regularidad.
Solo de esta forma conseguirá la máxima diversión y prestaciones en su modelo.
Después de cada carrera compruebe todos los tornillos y si es necesario apriételos. Compruebe también las ruedas y si
el pegamento sigue en perfectas condiciones.
Después de consumir aprox. 10 veces las baterías con su modelo, será necesario realizar comprobaciones en los ejes
de las ruedas y en la transmisión. Para hacer esto, deberá retirarlos, comprobarlos y limpiarlos. Si hay algo dañado,
cámbielo por una pieza nueva. Ponga grasa o aceite en los ejes y juntas. Compruebe si su transmisión funciona de forma
suave y regular.
Retire el piñonaje y compruebe si su transmisión funciona suavemente. Si su transmisión no funciona libremente y está
doblada, deberá desmontarla para reconocer el origen del problema.
Limpie todas las partes de la transmisión y lubríquelas de nuevo.
Después de 20 usos, compruebe el aceite de los amortiguadores.
Podría ser necesario limpiarlos; compruebe si no tienen fugas y si trabajan suavemente.
Please check and maintain your S10 Twister regularly.
Only this way you will achieve the maximum performance and fun with your vehicle.
After every run please check all the screws and tighten them if needed.
Also have a look at your tires if the glueing is still ok.
After 10 runs it would be necessary to check your wheel axle and drive shafts.
To do this you have to remove, check, and clean them. If anything is damaged please replace it with a new part. Please
take grease or oil on the joints and axles. If your drive unit does not have a perfect concentric, please check and take
your slipper unit apart.
Remove the pinion gear and check the smooth running of your S10 Twister drive-train. If your drive-train does not run
freely and is binding, please disassemble it to find the reason for this problem.
Please also clean all drive-train parts and lubricate them with grease again.
After 20 run please check the oil in the shocks.
It would be necessary to clean them, check if they are leakproof and work smoothly.

Ajuste de piñón y corona
Cuando el motor está montado y se ajusta el piñón, compruebe el engranaje moviendo suavemente la corona con sus
dedos (asegúrese de que la batería no está conectada). Si puede mover mucho la corona sin resistencia, entonces es
que está demasiado suelta. Por el contrario, si apenas se mueve la corona, entonces estará demasiado apretado. La
forma más fácil de hacerlo es introduciendo algo muy fino, como un papel o un acetato entre el piñón y la corona antes
de que ajuste el motor.
Una vez ajustado, retire el papel o plástico y compruebe de nuevo el engranaje y su movimiento.
Pinion and spur gear meshing
When the motor is installed and the pinion gear is tightened, check the mesh by trying to gently move the spur gear
with your finger (make sure no battery is connected). If you can move the spur gear a lot without resistance, then it is
too loose. Alternatively if the spur gear can just hardly be moved, then it is too tight. The easiest way is to insert a thin
piece of plastic (like a shopping carrier bag) or paper between the pinion and spur gear before you tighten the motor.
Once tighten, remove the plastic/paper and check the mesh again.
As the motor can move during usage of your S10 Twister, the pinion/spur gear mesh should be checked regularly.

Como calcular la relación de transmisión:
Relación externa * relación interna
La relación externa se calcula con: Corona / Piñón.
La relación interna se calcula con: Piñonaje diferencial / Piñón intermedio.
La elección de la mejor relación de transmisión
Para conseguir la mejor relación de transmisión debe tener en cuenta los siguientes
consejos.
- La elección del motor: cuantas menos vueltas tenga el motor que está utilizan-
do, deberá utilizar también una relación de transmisión menor, porque un motor
con bajas vueltas tiene más potencia y unas RPM más altas (si utiliza un motor
superior, necesitará también un variador adecuado). Oriéntese en las relaciones de
transmisión propuestas por el motor utilizado.
- La elección de relación de transmisión depende de la superficie del circuito. La
mejor relación de transmisión es aquella en la que su coche consigue la máxima
velocidad en 2/3 de las rectas más largas del circuito. Debe tener en cuenta influ-
encias externas como la temperatura y la calidad del circuito. Después de cada
carrera debe esperar a que el motor, el variador y la batería se enfríen.
How to calculate the gear ratio:
External Ratio * internal Ratio
The external Ratio is calculated: Spur Gear / Pinion Gear.
The internal Ratio is calculated: Differential Gear/ Idle Gear.
Choice of the perfect gear ratio:
To select the best gear ratio, you have to take the following guidelines into calculation.
- The choice of the motor: if you use a motor with less turns a smaller gear ratio
has to be used, because the motor with lower turns has more power and higher
RPM (if you use a tuning motor, a tuning speed control is required aswell). Please
have a look at the gearing proposal of the tuning motor.
- The choice of the gear ratio depends on the track layout. The optimum gear ratio
is found, if at 2/3 of the longest straight of the track your car reaches maximum
speed. External influences like surface appearance and air temperature are also
important factors you have to take into consideration. After each run you should
wait for the motor, speed controller and battery to cool down.

Nivel de Motorización
Si quiere utilizar un motor más potente para su S10 Twister, recuerde que debe utilizar un variador más potente. En caso
contrario, podría dañar el variador incluido de serie.
Level of motorization
If you want to use a stronger Tuning motor in your S10 Twister, be reminded to use a more powerful electronic speed
controller aswell. Otherwise you could damage the standard speed control.
Rellenado de amortiguadores
Como ya hemos comentado en el capítulo de mantenimiento, los amortiguadores
pueden rellenearse cuantas veces quiera. Ya sea por pérdida de aceite o por que
quiera cambiar el aceite del amortiguador para modificar las características de
amortiguación de su S10 Twister.
Retire del amortiguador el aceite viejo y límpielo. A continuación baje el pistón
y ponga aceite nuevo en el cilindro. Quite las burbujas de aire moviendo poco a
poco el pistón arriba y abajo.
Apriete la tapa del amortiguador y el diafragma del amortiguador y baje el pistón
de nuevo para comprobar si hay aire en el amortiguador y si funciona suave-
mente. Utilice papel absorbente para limpiar el aceite en el exterior del amortigua-
dor. Los amortiguadores deben moverse de forma constante en todo el recorrido.
Si el amortiguador se endurece cuando aprieta el eje del amortiguador, significa
que hay demasiado aceite en el cilindro. Abra la tapa del amortiguador con 2-3
vueltas y pulse suavemente el eje del amortiguador. El exceso de aceite se derra-
mará fuera del amortiguador. A continuación, cierre la tapa del amortiguador para
completar el proceso de montaje del mismo.
Fill up shocks
As it was mentioned in the chapter maintenance and tuning already, the shocks can be refilled again and again. It may
be due to loss of oil or to change the shock oil in order to influence the driving characteristics of your S10 Twister.
Remove the old oil out of the shock and clean it thoroughly. Then pull down the shock piston and fill-in new oil into the
cylinder. Remove air bubbles by slowly moving the piston up and down.
Tighten the shock cap include the shock bladder and pull down piston once again to check if there is air in the shock or
if it works smoothly. Absorb oil overflow with tissue paper. The shocks have to work constant over the full length. If the
shock will get harder when pushing in the shock shaft, then there is too much oil in the cylinder. Please open the shock
cap by 2-3 turns and gently push in the shock shaft. Surplus oil will spill out of the shock body. Now re-tighten the shock
cap and the shock rebuild is finished.

Mantenimiento / Comprobación de los rodamientos
Debido a causas externas (suciedad, restos de moqueta, humedad), los rodamientos de su modelo podrían resultar
obstruidos e incluso dañados. Cuando desmonte su S10 Twister, puede comprobar todos los rodamientos. Compruebe
primero si a simple vista identifica daños. ¿Está el rodamiento dañado? ¿Puede ver suciedad o restos de moqueta? Lim-
pie el rodamiento y retire los residuos restantes. Gire el rodamiento con los dedos y compruebe si funciona sin ningún
impedimento. Puede eliminar pequeñas partículas de suciedad si limpia el rodamiento con líquido para limpiar rodamien-
tos. Después de la limpieza, es importante secar los rodamientos y aplicarles aceite de nuevo. Importante: no olvide
engrasar de nuevo los rodamientos o de lo contrario podrían resultar dañados. Si comprueba los rodamientos en su
mano pueden resultar pulidos y homogéneos sin aceite, pero una vez en funcionamiento necesitan de lubricante ya que
en caso contrario se calentarían en exceso. Los rodamientos que se han bloqueado o han quedado dañados, deben ser
reemplazados. En caso contrario, podría dañar otros componentes y reducir radicalmente las prestaciones de su modelo.
Una transmisión con un funcionamiento irregular podría causar daños en el variador o romper el motor.
Maintenance / Checking the ball bearings
Because of extraneous cause (dirt, leavings of a carpet, humidity) ball bearings
could be constricted in capability or even damaged. When you have disassem-
bled your S10 Twister, you can check all your bearings. First check out for optical
damages. Is the ball bearing damaged? Can you see dirt or leavings of a carpet?
Clean the bearing and remove residua. Spin the ball bearing with your fingers and
check if it works without any scratching. If you rinse the bearing in cleaning fluid
small particles of dirt can be removed. After the cleaning procedure it is important
to let the bearings dry and to oil them again. Important! Never forget to oil them
otherwise you will damage the bearings. If you check the bearings in your hand
they may feel smooth without oil, but if they get load, the bearings will get hot
because of missing lubrication film. Blocked bearings, which do not work after
cleaning, have to be replaced. Otherwise other components could be damaged
and the performance of your S10 Twister can be dramatically lowered. A rough
running drive-train may cause damage of the speed control or will result in a
broken motor.
