AN450H
Pneumatic Roofing Coil Nailer
Model AN450H is a pneumatic nailer powered by high pressure air;
designed for roofing shingles - especially for roofing asphalt shingles.
Drives the same wire collated coil nails as used for our normal pressure
air model AN453.
Its main benefits are:
Compact and lightweight design for high maneuverability
Nailing mode selector for providing Bump-fire*1or

*1: Nails can be fired one after the other continuously first by pulling Trigger
then by bumping Contact arm against workpiece with the Trigger pulled.
*2: One nail is fired first by pushing Contact arm against workpiece, then by
pulling Trigger with the Contact arm kept pushed; nail cannot be fired when
the steps are reversed. Another one can be fired by releasing Trigger,
then by repeating the steps; however, cannot be fired if Trigger is not released
before repetition of the steps.

Note: Bind a thread sealant tape to the
thread of One touch joint H22MP
to maintain the positive sealing on

by removing M5 Hex socket button head bolt and
M5x35 Hex socket head bolt (4pcs.).
Head valve and Rear cushion remain in Top cap in
this step.

While holding Head valve by hand,
blow the air into Top cap with air duster.
Head valve and Rear cushion can be lifted
from Top cap.

removed by pushing with 1R308
through the hole of Top cap.

If removing is difficult,
lever up Head valve with

(1) Assemble Head valve section as illustrated in Fig. 5.
(2) Mount the Head valve section to Housing set. Refer to Fig. 3.

Assemble Head valve to Top cap carefully
so that Compression spring 4 (8pcs.) does
not fall.
Mount Flat washer 26 to
Rear cushion.
And put Rear cushion on
the center of Top cap.
Finally set Rear cushion in
place in Top cap with 1R247
and arbor press.

(1) Disassemble Head valve section from Housing set as illustrated in Fig. 3.
(2) Remove Cylinder section and Driver complete from Housing set, and disassemble them as illustrated in
Figs. 6 and 7.
Remove O ring 5 to prevent being lost. Remove the components of Cylinder section with Driver complete
by Striking the edge of Housing set,

Assemble Cylinder section as illustrated in Fig. 9.
Note: Set O ring 5 in place before assembling Head valve section to Housing set.
Refer to the left illustration in Fig. 6.

Assemble Valve seat to Cylinder stay. And setting Cylinder stay to Cylinder,
press the Cylinder toward Top cap.
Cylinder stay can be assembled to Cylinder at the position as it is.
Cylinder stay and Valve seat
have to be assembled to
Cylinder properly.

(2) Mount O rings to Cylinder and Driver complete. Refer to Fig. 8.
(3) Assemble the Cylinder section to Housing set. Refer to the right illustration in Fig. 6.
(4) Insert Driver complete into the Cylinder. Refer to the right illustration in Fig. 6..
(5) Assemble O ring 5 to Housing set. Refer to the left illustration in Fig. 6.
(6) Assemble the Head valve section to Housing set. Refer to Fig. 3.

Pick up Holder cap by finger, then remove
the hook of Tension spring 5 from the
hole on the reverse side of Holder cap
using awl.

(1) Assemble Magazine as illustrated in Fig. 13.
(2) Mount Magazine to the Machine, referring to Fig. 10.
Press Change plate until it
is attached the bottom of
Magazine.
Insert Rubber plate 6-20 into Tension
spring 5. Then assemble Top cap to
Tension spring 5.
Put Holder cap to Change plate while
passing Tension spring 5 through the
center hole of Change plate.
Pull out the Tension spring 5 from
the bottom side of Magazine.
Connect Holder cap with the
hook of Tension spring 5.

the hole of Lock pin.
Therefore, clamp Lock pin with
vise then remove M5x12 Hex
socket head bolt.
Remove Magazine cap by unscrewing
M5x12 Hex socket head bolt (2pcs.).
Lock lever, Lock pin, etc. still remain
on Magazine cap complete in this step.

Push Pin 4 toward Housing set with slotted screwdriver,
and pull off it with pliers.
Note: Do not lose Urethane ring 3 for holding Pin 4 in Door.
