Informationen zum Vorbild
Anfang der 70er-Jahre benötigte die Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB)
für den schweren Güterzugdienst neue Lokomotiven. Ab 1973
begann die Indienststellung der sechsachsigen Baureihe 151.
Insgesamt wurden 170 Lokomotiven abgeliefert. Sie sind 19,49 m
lang, 118 t schwer und 120 km/h schnell.
Diese Baureihe ist eine Weiterentwicklung der BR 150; bei den
6 Fahrmotoren wurde auf Motortypen zurückgegriffen, die sich
bei der BR 110 und 140 bewährt hatten. Die Fertigung der BR 151
erfolgte bei Krupp in Essen und Krauss-Maffei in München.
Vorbild: Ganzzug für Massengüter der Deutschen Bundesbahn
(DB). Baureihe 151 in Doppeltraktion. Offene Selbstentladewa-
gen Bauart Fad 167. Betriebszustand um 1979.
Information about the prototype
The German Federal Railroad (DB) needed new locomotives for
heavy freight service at the beginning of the 1970’s. Starting in
1973 the sixaxle class 151 was placed into service. Altogether,
170 locomotives were delivered. They are 19.49 meters (approx.
63.3 feet) long, weight 118 tons and have a maximum speed of
120 km/h (approx. 75 m.p.h.).
This class is a further development of the class 150. The six
traction motors used in each locomotive are a type that was suc-
cessful in the class 110 and 140. Krupp in Essen (Germany) and
Krauss-Maffei in Munich are the locomotive builders for the 151.
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) unit train for volume

hopper cars. The train looks as it did around 1979.

Information concernat la locomotive
Dès 1970, la Deutsche Bundesbahn a ressenti le besoin de nou-
velles motrices puissantes pour assurer le trafic marchandises
lourds. A partir de 1973, elle a mis en service des machines de
la série 151, à 6 essieux. En tout, 170 motrices de ce type ont été
livrées. Elles avaient 19,49 m de long, pesaient 118 t et pouvaient
rouler à 120 km/h.
Ces machines sont le fruit d’études menées sur les motrices de
la série 150. En particulier, on a repris les moteurs de traction qui
ont donné pleine satisfaction et qui équipent les motrices des
séries 110 et 140. La fabrication de ces machines a été confiée
auc usines Krupp à Essen et Krauss-Maffei à München.

In het begin van de jaren 70 had de Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB)
nieuwe locomotieven nodig voor het zware goederentreinver-
keer. Vanaf 1973 begon de indienststelling van de zesassige
bouwserie 151. Er werden in totaal 170 locomotieven afgeleverd.
Ze zijn 19,49 m lang, 118 t zwaar en behalen een maximumsnel-
heid van 120 km/u.
Deze bouwserie is ontwikkeld uit de BR 150; voor de 6 trac-
tiemotoren werd teruggegrepen op motortypen, die al bij de
bouwseries 110 en 140 goed voldeden. De bouw van de BR 151
geschiedde bij Krupp in Essen en Krauss-Maffei in München.
Voorbeeld: complete trein voor bulkgoederen van de Deutsche
Bundesbahn (DB). Serie 151 in dubbeltractie. Open zelflossers
serie Fad 167. Bedrijfstoestand rond 1979.

transferred along with the product to others.

gebruikt worden.

de aangegeven netspanning overeenkomt met de netspan-
ning ter plaatse.

gelijktijdig gevoed worden.

iksaanwijzing van uw bedrijfssysteem.

te worden ontstoort. Hiervoor dient men de ontstoor-set 74046
te gebruiken. Voor het digitale bedrijf is deze ontstoor-set niet
geschikt.

Belangrijke aanwijzing
• Overeenkomstighetvoorbeeldzijndebuitenstepantografen
voorzien van een smal sleepstuk. Om problemen te voorkomen
is het aan te bevelen voor het bovenleidingsbedrijf alleen de
binnenste pantograaf (met het brede sleepstuk) te gebruiken.
• Degebruiksaanwijzingendeverpakkingzijneenbestanddeel
van het product en dienen derhalve bewaard en meegeleverd
te worden bij het doorgeven van het product.
• VoorreparatieofonderdelenkuntuzichtotuwMärklin
handelaar wenden.

Avvertenze per la sicurezza

• Lalocomotivanondevevenirealimentatanellostessotempo
con più di una sorgente di potenza.
• Vogliateprestareassolutamenteattenzionealleavvertenze
di sicurezza nelle istruzioni di impiego per il Vostro sistema di
funzionamento.
• Perilfunzionamentotradizionaledellalocomotivailbinariodiali-
mentazione deve essere protetto dai disturbi. A tale scopo si deve
impiegare il corredo antidisturbi 74046. Tale corredo antidisturbi
non è adatto per il funzionamento Digital.
• Non esponete tale modello ad alcun irraggiamento solare diretto,
a forti escursioni di temperatura oppure a elevata umidità dell’aria.
• AVVERTENZA! Per motivi funzionali i bordi e le punte sono
spigolosi.
Avvertenze importanti
• In modo corrispondente al prototipo, sul tetto i pantografi es-
terni sono equipaggiati con un elemento strisciante piccolo.
Per escludere difetti di funzionamento, noi consigliamo di
impiegare per l’esercizio con linea aerea soltanto i pantografi
interni (con elemento strisciante largo).

Viktig information
