1. Using the Product as Intended
This turnout mechanism is designed for installation in the
20611, 20612, 20671, and 20672 turnouts, the turnouts from
the 24902, 24903, 24904, and 24905 track extension sets (not
for the double slip switch) and the turnouts from the starter
sets in the Start up assortment from Märklin.
2. Safety Notes
Read through the operating instructions carefully before
using this mechanism for the first time.
• IMPORTANT! This product has sharp edges and points
due to how it works. There is a danger of suffocation due
to small parts that can break off and be swallowed.
• Thisproductmayonlybeusedindoors.
• Donotstorethisproductindirectsunlightorexposedto
extremes of temperature or to high humidity.
• Makesureyouinspecttheconditionoftheswitched
power pack and its connections to the wall outlet for
damage at regular intervals (depending on how often the
switched power pack is used to play with the train), at
least once a week. This must be done with the switched
power pack unplugged from the wall outlet. If you have
the slightest suspicion that there is damage, the switched
power pack may not be used again until it has been
checked and repaired by the Märklin Repair Department).
3. Important Notes
• Theoperatinginstructionsareacomponentpartofthe
product and must therefore be kept in a safe place as
well as included with the product, if the latter is given to
someone else.
• Thisproductmanyonlybeusedwiththe66361/66365
switched mode power pack, the 194548 feeder track with
the IR base station, and with the 72752 turnout controller.
• The66361/66365switchedmodepowerpackisnotatoy.
• PleaseseeyourauthorizedMärklindealerforrepairs.
