ISSUES RESOLVED IN RELEASE 3.3.1 SP4 HF4
This section describes the issues resolved on the SIP phones in Release 3.3.1 SP4 HF4.
The following table provides the issue number and a brief description of each fix:
Note: Unless specifically indicated, the resolved issues below apply to both the 6735i
and 6737i SIP phones.
ISSUE NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF FIX
Configuration
DEF38903/CLN39835 The TLS persistent connection keep alive retry timeout was observed to be
exponential instead of periodic resulting in issues when network
interruptions occurred. These issues have been fixed.
DEF39672/CLN33203 Previously, softkeys configured as “Empty” were not configurable as speed
dial keys using the “press-and-hold” feature. This has been resolved and
users can now edit softkeys configured as “Empty” for use as a speed dial
key by pressing the respective softkey button on the phone.
DEF40154 An issue was observed in certain scenarios, whereby upon resync, the
phone would attempt to download configuration files from the defined
firmware server instead of the defined configuration server. This issue has
been corrected.
SIP
DEF39762/CLN40083 When making a call to a source that did not support RTP Control Protocol
Extended Reports (RTCP-XR), the Round Trip Delay (RTD) metric
provided in the SIP PUBLISH to the RTCP summary report collector was
found to be inaccurate. This issue has been corrected.
DEF39846 An isolated issue was observed whereby immediately after placing a call on
hold, placing the handset on the cradle caused the call to terminate. In
these isolated cases, defining the "delayed hold allowed" parameter to "1"
in the configuration files resolved this issue.
DEF40118/CLN40119 Intermittent stability issues were observed on the phones when processing
IPv6 traffic. These issues have been fixed.
Audio
DEF39471 6737i: When using the phones with the Metaswitch call manager, an issue
was observed whereby the phone would stop sending and receiving audio
after retrieving a call on hold. This issue has been resolved.
DEF39848 When using the phones with the MiVoice Office 400, if a call that was
transferred from a PSTN was received by the phone and the user
attempted to further transfer the call but aborted the attempted transfer, no
audio could be heard when the initial call was retrieved. This issue has
been corrected.
