Desktops(includingPOSterminals),Notebooks,andWorkstationsmanufactured
afterJuly1,2009thatdisplaytheENERGYSTAR®labelmeetthemorestringent5.0
requirements.Becauseoftheserequirements,yourcomputerhasahighlyefficient
powersupplyandotherhardwarespecificfeaturesthat,basedonEPAestimates,

Moreover,ENERGYSTAR®compliantcomputerscansaveevenmoreenergyby

Power Management Settings
ThisPOSterminalhasbeenshippedenabledforpowermanagement.Thedefault
settingsfortheterminalcomplywiththeENERGYSTARrequirementsofless
than15minutesofuserinactivityforthedisplayandlessthan30minutesof
inactivityfortheterminal.
Theterminalcanbeawakenedfromsleepmodebyanykeyboardactivityorby
WakeonLANifenabled.
Touch Screen Considerations
1. ThePOSwillnotgointostandbymodewithatouchdisplayconnectedtoaUSB
+12Vportontheterminalunlesstheactionnotedbelowisimplemented.
