his product is designed to meet the requirements
of relevant EC directives. o maintain this status, all
installation, maintenance, and repair is to be done
by qualified personnel using only Nederman original
spare parts and accessories. Contact the nearest au-
thorized distributor or Nederman for advice on tech-
nical service and obtaining spare parts. If there are
any damaged or missing parts when the product is de-
livered, notify the carrier and the local Nederman rep-
resentative immediately.

2.1Classification of important informa-

2.2General
WARNING!Risk of personal injury and/or
product damages.
• he system must not be used for other pur-
poses than extracting exhausts.
• Use rail for extracting vehicle exhaust gases
= rail with rubber seals.
• For manual systems: Always disconnect the
nozzle from the exhaust pipe before the
vehicle is driven out of the garage.
• he system must not be used when working
on the vehicle´s fuel system, when rechar-
ging the batteries or whenever there is a risk
for inflam-mable dust or explosive gases.
• When working with a running engine and
specially in a greasing pit a gas detector is re-
commended.
• Check that there is enough suction capacity
in the exhaust hose before it is connected
to the vehicle exhaust pipe. If needed, check
the fan impeller rotation direction.
• he system is designed for use only in the
direction of the length of the rail.
• Check that the nozzle is correctly fitted to
the exhaust pipe after the vehicle has been
moved.
• Check that the hose or nozzle will not snag on
any protruding parts on the vehicle.
• Use a dust filter mask at service and repair
work inside the system (for example hose/
nozzle).
3Description
ALU 150/250 is an advanced exhaust rail system for
high-frequency use. It offers a large number of fea-
tures, such as the manual return of extraction units
on a separate track, and automatic disconnection of
nozzles and balancers.
NOTE!
When using a straight rail solution one hydraul-
ic limit stop (accessory) must be attached at
the end of the rail system.
