It
can
not
be
used
with
other
batteries
.
·Charge indoors
at
ambient temperatures between 5and
35

to
95
°F),
·
The
temperature
of
some parts
of
the device may become elevated while it is
plugged
in.
Maintaining contact with the device for prolonged periods could
result in low-temperature burns,
·Remove the battery from the charger when charging
is
complete.
·Unplug the charger from the power outlet when not in
use.
·Do not short the charger terminals. Failure to observe this precaution could
result in overheating and damage to the charger.
·Do not
use
with travel converters or adapters designed to convert from one
voltage
to
another or
with
DC-to-AC inverters. Failure

extended period
of
disuse, charge the battery in the MH-28.
·Do
not
use
the battery at
ambient
temperatures below 0

to
observe this precaution could damage
the
battery or
impair i
ts
performance.
·The
battery wi
ll
not
charge
if
its
temperature
is
below
0 oc

F)
or above

Capacity may be reduced and charging times may increase at
battery temperatures from 0 o

·The
internal temperature
of
the battery may

while the battery

use.
At-
tempting to charge the battery while the internal temperature

not
attempt
to
recharge a fully-charged battery. Failure

precaution will result

reduced battery performance.
• Do
not
move the charger or touch the battery during charging. Failure

rare
instances result in the charger show-
ing that charging

complete
when
the
battery
is
only partially charged.
Re-
move and reinsert the battery
to
begin charging again.

the event

malfunction, stop
use
immediately and take

charger

Attaching
the
Plug
Adapter
Depending on the country or region
of
purchase, a plug adapter may be
supplied with the charger. Ifa plug adapter
is
suppl
ied,
attach it
as
described
in
Step
1,
below.

Raise
the wall plug (Figure
1-a-CD)
and connect
the
plug adapter (Figure 1-
a-
®;
note that the shape
of
the adapter varies
with
the
country or region
of
purchase), making sure that
the
plug
is
fu

y inserted.
Attempting
to
forcibly
remove the plug adapter could damage
the
product.
