contains important sa ety in ormation relating to the use and maintenance o the M100X
variant or use in explosive atmospheres. Please read this supplement care ully.
WARNINGS
SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR THE SAFE USE OF THE M100X.
Failure to comply with the ollowing warnings could result in the ignition o explosive
atmospheres.
The M100X is or operation in Zone 2 only. It shall not be operated in Zone 0 or
Zone 1 areas.
Do not open the M100X or attempt to change the battery in a hazardous area.
Maintenance and battery exchange shall be carried out by authorised service
centres only. Any attempt to open the unit by non-authorised personnel will
invalidate the certi ication o this device.
Certi ication
The M100X MSLD has been tested and certi ied to compliance with EN60079-0:2012 and
EN60079-11:2012 or the European ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and to the IEC Certi ication
Scheme or Explosive Atmospheres (IECEx).
