Powered by Single Pass Color®
Digital Technology
At the heart of the C7000 Series’capabilities is
a compact Digital LED (light-emitting diode) system.
OKI Single Pass Color utilizes four in-line Digital LED
printheads and image drums to speed the page
through, laying down cyan, magenta, yellow and black
toner in one pass. This process enables faster
document throughput—allowing you to get more
produced in less time.
Conventional color laser printers, on the other hand,
require four revolutions of the image drum before
the toner is fused and the output delivered.
Single Pass Color engineering also allows C7000
Series Digital LED printers to print on a wide variety
of paper media, including heavier card and index
stock, as well as labels and transparencies.

In addition, built-in automatic color registration
ensures that colors are aligned with precision—
which enables proprietary Digital LED technology
to deliver superb print quality at resolutions up to
true 1200 x 1200 dpi.
Making the most of memory
The C7000 Series offers a choice of standard
memory configurations and upgrades, allowing you
to maximize the performance of your printer now
or as your needs for large documents and complex
graphics grow.
Both the C7200 and C7200n models ship with a
generous 64 MB of RAM. For more intensive
graphics requirements, the C7400n comes with
128 MB of RAM standard, and the C7400dxn model
offers 256 MB. All four printer models can be
upgraded to 1,024 MB of RAM.
To further augment its data processing capability,
the C7400dxn model is also equipped with an internal
5 GB hard disk drive (optional in other models).
Versatile paper handling
The standard 630-sheet letter/legal capacity—
with options for expansion to 1,690 pages—keeps
user interventions to a minimum. Specially
developed OKI high-capacity toner cartridges and
long-life image drums ensure that the C7000 Series
is always ready for your next task.
To save paper without sacrificing productivity, a
compact Automatic Duplexer—standard on the
C7400dxn, optional on all other models—
allows double-sided printing to minimize your media
usage and cost.
Innovation at all levels
With the C7000 Series, even the toner helps to
enhance color reproduction.
OKI has developed a new oil-less toner for its latest
Digital LED Color printers. By adding a special agent
to the toner particle formulation, the resulting color
gives documents an elegant finish and a translucent
quality—particularly striking in presentations
employing overhead transparencies.

Flexible network connectivity
The Digital LED Color printers of the C7000 Series
can merge seamlessly into any office environment.
All C7000 Series printers come with both IEEE 1284
Bi-directional Parallel and Universal Serial Bus
(USB v1.1) interfaces. They can be configured as
stand-alone desktop units or as workgroup
printers connected to the network via a
10/100 Base-T internal print server card—an
OkiLAN®6200e—standard in all models except the
C7200, for which it’s an option.
The OkiLAN 6200e provides industry-standard
network protocols, which include TCP/IP, IPX,
NetBEUI®and EtherTalk®. It also supports standard
Printer MIB and MIB II, and supplies private OKI
MIB to enhance network management through
access to a wide range of printer menu settings.
Local or remote management
You can manage your C7000 Series printers with
off-the-shelf programs such as JetAdmin®or Web
JetAdmin®—or you can increase reporting capability
by using OkiView®utilities for printer set-up and
status monitoring.
With the web server embedded in the OkiLAN
6200e, C7000 Series printers can be managed
remotely: simply type a printer’s IP address into
your browser and its current status will be displayed
on-screen. Machine usage, toner levels and drum
life can also be viewed, and both printer menu and
network settings can be adjusted.
Short term or long run,
OKI costs less to operate

normal day-to-day usage, you can save substantially
on the cost per printed page with a C7000 Series
printer versus color laser, color inkjet and, especially,
