INSTALLATION (CONTINUED)
CLEANING AND CARE
1. Spot-clean the Low Prole Ballistic Appliqué with mild detergent and water to remove dirt or stains.
2. Clean the fasteners with a brush to remove loose dirt or debris.
3. Visually check the Low Prole Ballistic Appliqué for signs of damage – cracks, holes, soft areas.
Replace if appliqué is damaged.
4. Check to ensure that the fasteners are securely attached to the appliqué and that they hold the
helmet securely.

OPERATOR’S MANUAL
3TIGHTEN LEFT ARC SCREW
Pull the Retention Strap all the way through until it stops
at the sewn edge as shown. Attach and/or tighten the
Left ARC screw.
5TIGHTEN RIGHT ARC SCREW
Pull the Retention Strap all the way through the strap
slot and attach and/or tighten the Right ARC screw.
4THREAD RETENTION STRAP
Align the angled end of the Retention Strap with the strap
slots on the RIGHT ARC Rail as shown. Make sure the
angle is parallel to that of the ARC and that the strap is not
twisted and thread the Retention Strap through the strap
slot as shown.
6FASTEN THE RETENTION STRAP
Pull the Retention Strap tight across the back of the Rear
Ballistic Appliqué and fasten the strap onto itself as shown.

ABOUT YOUR LOW PROFILE BALLISTIC APPLIQUÉ
The FAST Low Prole Ballistic Appliqué (LPBA) is a lightweight accessory that offers increased ballistic
protection for your FAST Carbon Helmet. The LPBA’s two-piece construction is made up of a front section and
rear section. These separate appliqués can be that can be quickly donned using the attachment clips and
VELCRO®, enabling you to scale your protection level on demand.

1INSTALL FRONT APPLIQUÉ
Simultaneously insert the attachment clip into the receiver
located on the top edge of the SHC ARC Shim. Firmly apply
pressure on the appliqué until the VELCRO engages.
2INSTALL REAR APPLIQUÉ
Using the rear edge of the front appliqué as a guide, align
the rear appliqué and rmly apply pressure on the appliqué
until the VELCRO engages.

Follow these steps to install the Low Prole Ballistic Appliqué to your helmet.Always be sure to check for a
secure t after installation.
1LOOSEN REAR ARC SCREWS
Loosen/remove the rear screws of your helmet on both the
left and right sides.
2THREAD RETENTION STRAP
With the VELCRO hook facing towards the helmet, align
the angled end of the Retention Strap with the strap slots
on the LEFT ARC Rail as shown. Make sure the angle is
parallel to that of the ARC. Insert the Retention Strap
through the strap slot as shown.
INSTALLING THE REAR RETENTION STRAP
Follow these steps to install the Rear Retention Strap to your helmet. The Retention Strap will help secure the
Rear Appliqué to the helmet.
