*Conduct a walk test at least once per year.

Mount the unit, install a
battery, and enroll the
transmitter.
Replace the cover
Select switch for Walk Test
from “ON” to “OFF”.
Fasten cover with fastening
screw.
Conduct a Walk Test.

V. ENROLLING TO CONTROL PANEL
1. LED ON / OFF
The Alarm LED indicator can be switched either “ON” or “OFF”.
2. PULSE COUNT
The Detection Mode can be switched to either “2” or “4” depending on the environmental conditions of
installation.
2: For normal applications.
4: For use in hostile areas where there may be movement of small animals or other objects such as fax
When “4” is selected, the detector‘s sensitivity may seem sluggish. Conduct a Walk Test to ensure that the
desired coverage is given.
3. WALK TEST SWITCH
WALK TEST
1) LED lights up when the unit has detected.
2) An alarm signal is output when detected.
NORMAL : Normal Operation (Battery Saving Mode)
1) LED lights up when the unit has detected if “LED ON” is selected.
2) Once alarm is generated, another alarm will not generate for 2 minutes.
Interlogix:
  Programming/Enrolling
     • Place control panel into enrollment mode
     •Remove battery tab to automatically send entire RF enrollment
sequence, or
     • Open cover to send Tamper Signal
QOLSYS:
Programming/Enrolling
• Place control panel into enrollment mode.
• Remove battery tab to automatically send entire RF enrollment
sequence, or
• Open cover to send Tamper Signal
Honeywell:
 Programming/Enrolling
     • Enroll by placing the panel into wireless enrollment mode
     •Remove battery tab while holding Tamper to automatically send
entire RF enrollment sequence, or
     • Trip (alarm or tamper) 3 times, or
     • Enter the sensors ID number
Enrollment Tips
     • Program as an RF type (Supervised RF)
     • Program as Loop 1
     • Loop 4 = Tamper
2GIG:
  Programming/Enrolling
     • Place control panel into enrollment mode
     •Remove battery tab while holding tamper to automatically send entire RF
enrollment sequence, or
• Trip (alarm or tamper) 3 times, or
     • Enter the sensors ID number
  Enrollment Tips
     • Confirm Loop 1 is selected
     • Power down the PIR after enrollment to keep panel from mistakenly
double enrolling the sensor.
DSC:
  Programming/Enrolling
     • Place control panel into enrollment mode
     •Remove battery tab to automatically send entire RF enrollment sequence,
or
     • Open cover to send Tamper Signal, or
     • Enter the sensors ID number
Cryptix:
  Programming/Enrolling
     • Place control panel into enrollment mode
     •Remove battery tab to automatically send entire RF enrollment sequence,
or
     • Open cover to send Tamper Signal, or
     • Enter the sensors ID number
Alarm is not activated
although someone is
walking in detection
area.
Unintended activation
(False Alarm)
LED does not light up at
