1. Allgemeines
1.1. Information zur Betriebsanleitung
Diese Betriebsanleitung dient dem Anwender
dazu, die Armaturen sachgerecht zu installie-
ren, in Betrieb zu nehmen und zu warten.
Vor Beginn jeglicher Arbeiten mit den Armaturen
ist die Betriebsanleitung vollständig zu lesen
und zu verstehen!
1.2. Symbolerklärung
Hinweise zur Sicherheit von Personen und der
Anlage selbst sind durch Symbole gekenn-
zeichnet. Diese Hinweise sind unbedingt zu
befolgen, um Unfälle, Sachschäden und
Störungen zu vermeiden.

In den Rücklauf können handelsübliche Wär-
memengenzähler mit flachdichtenden Gehäu-
sen nachgerüstet werden:
• mit Baulänge 110 mm und G 3⁄4Außenge-
winde sowie
• mit Baulänge 130 mm und G1 Außenge-
winde.
Die Anbindung an die „Floorbox“ kann seitlich
oder von unten erfolgen.
5. Einbau und Montage
5.1. Lieferumfang

– Kugelhahn mit Temperaturfühleranschluss
M10 x 1, Entlüftungs-/Spülventil, Rohrbo-

einem Einbaus hrank geliefert. Die Vers hrau-
bungen sind bei der Montage na hzuziehen!
4.2. Funktionsbeschreibung
Die „Floorbox“ dient zur wohnungsweisen
Anbindung von Flächenheizungen mit flächen-
heizungsgerechter Vorlauftemperatur. Der Ein-
satz erfolgt in Verbindung mit einer raumwei-
sen Regelung mit Uniboxen. Die „Floorbox“ ist
eine zentrale Einrichtung pro Wohnung zum
Absperren, Regulieren und zur Wärmemen-
genmessung.

mationsfristen beachten.
Schutzkappen und andere Transportsicherun-
gen erst unmittelbar vor dem Einbau entfernen.
5.2. Einbau der „Floorbox“
Beim Einbau ist die mögliche Einbau-
tiefe des Wärmemengenzählers zu beach-
ten!
Die Bautiefe wird bestimmt durch den vorgese-
henen Wärmemengenzähler und ergibt das
Maß T1. Der Rahmen ist bis auf die errechnete
Einbautiefe herauszuziehen.
Nach der Installation der „Floorbox“ erfolgt das
Verlegen der Vorlaufleitung von Raum zu
Raum. Über Abzweige von der Vorlaufleitung
werden die einzelnen Flächenheizkreise ange-
schlossen (s. Abb 5.2).
5.3. Füllen
Die Heizungsanlage füllen und spülen, bei Ge-
fahr des Einfrierens Frostschutzmittel zugeben.
5.4. Entlüften
Zum Entlüften, auch bei späteren Heizbetrieb,
können die Entlüftungs- /Spülventile der „Flo-
orbox“ sowie die der nachfolgenden Unibox
verwendet werden.
5.5. Dichtprüfung
Die Anlage ist auf Dichtheit zu prüfen. Das
Ergebnis ist in einem Protokoll festzuhalten.
5.6. Nachrüsten von Wärmemengen-
zählern
Im Rücklauf können handelsübliche Wärme-
mengenzähler mit flachdichtenden Gehäusen
nachgerüstet werden:
• mit Baulänge 110 mm und G 3⁄4Außen-
gewinde sowie
• mit Baulänge 130 mm und G 1 Außen-
gewinde.
Vor dem Einbau wird das Strangregulierventil
vor und der Kugelhahn hinter dem Zählerpass -
stück abgesperrt.
Die Verschraubungen sind zu lösen.
Die Dichtflächen sollten gereinigt und beim Zu-
sammenbau neue Flachdichtungen verwendet
werden.
Ein Wärmemengenzähler-Gehäuse mit Bau -
länge 130 mm und G 1 Außengewinde wird
direkt zwischen den Verschraubungen einge-
baut.
Bei einem Wärmemengenzähler-Gehäuse mit
Baulänge 110 mm und G 3⁄4Außengewinde,
sind zunächst die Reduzierstücke auf das
Gehäuse aufzuschrauben. Anschließend wird
das Gehäuse zwischen den Verschraubungen
eingesetzt.
Das Wärmemengezähler-Gehäuse und die
Überwurfmutter der Verschraubung sind zu
verplomben.
Kugelhahn und Strangregulierventil sind zu öff-
nen, die Heizungsanlage ist zu entlüften und
vor der Inbetriebnahme auf Dichtheit zu prüfen.
Durch den Wärmemengenzähler erhöht sich
der Druckverlust in der Anlage. Die Voreinstel-
lung des „Hycocon VTZ“ Strangregulierventils
ist so zu vergrößern, dass der ursprüngliche
Aus legungszustand wieder hergestellt wird.

6. Bedienung
6.1. Einregulierung Strangregulierventil
Die Stränge der Heizungsanlage sind nach
VOB C/DIN 18380 untereinander abzuglei-
chen. Dadurch werden alle Anlagenteile ent-
sprechend der Auslegung mit Wärme versorgt.
Der hydraulische Abgleich erfolgt bei der
Oventrop „Floorbox“ mittels des „Hycocon
VTZ“ Strangregulierventils.
Die Voreinstellung kann mit der Oventrop Soft-
ware zur Rohrnetzberechnung ermittelt wer-
den. Die Einstellung des berechneten Wertes
erfolgt entsprechend der beiliegenden Anlei-
tung des Strangregulierventils.
Bei der Berechnung der Anlage von Hand ist
für die „Floorbox“ ein kVS-Wert von 6,6 m3/h
(Diagramm 7.1) zu berücksichtigen. Der Druck-
verlust am Strangregulierventil geht zusätzlich
in die Berechnung ein.
Der am „Hycocon VTZ“ Strangregulierventil zu
drosselnde Differenzdruck muss berechnet
werden. Mit dem bekannten Massenstrom im
Auslegungspunkt kann die Voreinstellung aus
Diagramm 7.2 abgelesen werden.
Beim Einsatz des Entleerungs- und Füll-
werkzeuges (Art.-Nr. 1061791) bzw. der Mes-
snadeln (Art.-Nr. 1061799) ist das Strang -
regulierventil „Hy o on VTZ“ um 90° na h
vorne zu drehen.

man to install, put into operation and service
the “Floorbox”.
Before installation, the operating instructions
are to be read in their entirety!

Standard heat meters with flat sealing bodies
can be installed in the return pipe subsequently:

The “Floorbox” is supplied pre-assem-
bled in a abinet. The ouplings have to be
re-tightened during installation!
4.2 Functional description
The “Floorbox” serves to connect each dwelling
to the surface heating systems with flow
temperatures suitable for such systems. It is
used in combination with a “Unibox” installation
set for room to room control. The “Floorbox” is
a central device for isolating, regulating and
measuring the heat consumption per dwelling.

due consideration of the deadline.
Please only remove protection caps and trans-
port protections immediately before installation.
5.2 Installation of “Floorbox”
he possible depth of the water meter
has to be considered during installation!
The depth is determined by the designated
heat meter and produces the measure T1. The
frame has to be pulled out according to the
calculated depth.
After installation of the “Floorbox”, the supply
pipe is laid from one room to the other. The
individual heating surface circuits are
connected via derivations from the supply pipe
(see illustr. 5.2).
5.3 Filling
The heating system has to be filled and flushed.
Add an antifreeze liquid for frost protection.
5.4 Bleeding
The venting and flushing valves of the “Floorbox”
as well as those of the succeeding “Unibox”
can be used to bleed the system even under
working conditions.
5.5 Leakage test
The installation has to be checked for leaks and
the result has to be documented in a record.
5.6 Subsequent installation of heat
meters
Standard heat meters with flat sealing bodies
can subsequently be installed in the return pipe:
• with a length of 110 mm and G 3⁄4male
threads and
• with a length of 130 mm and G 1 male
threads.
The double regulating and commissioning valve
in front of the meter stool piece and the ball
valve behind it, must be closed off.
The couplings have to be unscrewed.
The sealing surfaces should be cleaned and
new flat seals should be used during assembly.
A heater meter body with a length of 130 mm
and G 1 male threads is mounted directly
between the couplings.
When using a heat meter with a length of 110 mm
and G 3⁄4male threads, the reducers have to be
screwed onto the body first. After that, the body
is mounted between the couplings.
The water meter bodies and the collar nut of the
coupling are to be lead sealed.
The ball valve and the double regulating and
commissioning valve have to be opened and
the heating system has to be bled and checked
for leaks.
Due to the heat meter, the pressure loss within
the installation is increased. The presetting of
the double regulating and commissioning valve
“Hycocon VTZ” has to be increased in such a
way that the initial design status is reproduced.
