Beschrijving (fig. A)
Uw 212023 Princess blender is ontworpen voor
de volgende toepassingen: hakken en pureren
van groente en fruit; bereiden van smoothies,
shakes en sappen; bereiden van koude soepen;
bereiden van dressings en (dip)sauzen. De
maximale capaciteit van het apparaat is 1500 ml.
Het apparaat is uitsluitend geschikt voor gebruik
binnenshuis. Het apparaat is uitsluitend geschikt
voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw
aandacht voor de volgende punten:
- Het apparaat is ontworpen voor het mengen
van koude en lauwwarme ingrediënten
(max. 55 °C). Het wordt aanbevolen om
het apparaat niet te gebruiken voor het
mengen van hete vloeistoffen en hete
vaste stoffen. Hete vloeistoffen en hete
vaste stoffen kunnen er makkelijk toe
leiden dat de kan breekt and het kandeksel
door stoomdruk van het apparaat schiet.
Houd het kandeksel bij het mengen van
lauwwarme vloeistoffen met uw hand op
zijn plaats om lekkage te voorkomen.

Eerste gebruik
Voorbereiding
Reinig het apparaat. Zie het gedeelte•
"Reiniging en onderhoud".
Reinig de accessoires. Zie het gedeelte•
"Reiniging en onderhoud".
Assemblage (fig. B)
Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw
aandacht voor de volgende punten:
- Schakel voor montage of demontage het
apparaat uit, verwijder de netstekker uit het
stopcontact en wacht totdat het apparaat
is afgekoeld.
Monteer de kan (2) op het apparaat.•
Vergrendel de kan (2) door hem rechtsom
te draaien.
Monteer het kandeksel (3) op de kan (2).•
Monteer het kandekselinzetstuk (4) in het•
kandeksel (3). Vergrendel het kandeksel-
inzetstuk (4) door het rechtsom te draaien.
Gebruik
In- en uitschakelen (fig. A)
Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw
aandacht voor de volgende punten:
- Schakel het apparaat niet in wanneer de kan
leeg is.
- Laat het apparaat niet continu ingeschakeld
gedurende meer dan twee minuten.
Zet de aan/uit-schakelaar (1) in positie 'I'•
om het apparaat met een lage continue
snelheid in te schakelen.
Zet de aan/uit-schakelaar (1) in positie 'II'•
om het apparaat met een hoge continue
snelheid in te schakelen.
Zet de aan/uit-schakelaar (1) in positie 'P'•
om het apparaat in de pulse-modus in te
schakelen.
Zet de aan/uit-schakelaar (1) in positie 'O'•
om het apparaat uit te schakelen.
Aanwijzingen voor gebruik
Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw
aandacht voor de volgende punten:
- Overbelast het apparaat niet. Doe niet te
veel ingrediënten in één keer in de kan.
Snijd het fruit en/of de groente in stukken.•
Zorg ervoor dat de stukken fruit en/of
groente in de kan passen.
Verwijder het kandeksel van de kan.•
Doe de stukken fruit en/of groente in de kan.•
Assembleer het apparaat. Zie het gedeelte•
"Assemblage".
Plaats de netstekker in het stopcontact.•

Schakelhetapparaatin.Hetapparaathaktde•
stukken fruit en/of groente in enkele
seconden. Hoe langer het apparaat is
ingeschakeld, des te fijner de stukken fruit
en/of groente zullen worden gehakt.
Voeg indien nodig meer stukken fruit en/of•
groente toe:
- Draai de het kandekselinzetstuk linksom
om het inzetstuk van het kandeksel te
verwijderen.
- Indien de stukken te groot zijn voor de
vulopeningvanhetkandeksel,schakeldan
het apparaat uit, verwijder het kandeksel
envoegdestukkenfruiten/ofgroentetoe.
- Monteer het kandeksel op de kan.
- Monteer het kandekselinzetstuk in het
kandeksel.
- Schakelhetapparaatin.Hetapparaathakt
de stukken fruit en/of groente in enkele
seconden. Hoe langer het apparaat is
ingeschakeld, des te fijner de stukken fruit
en/of groente zullen worden gehakt.
Schakelnagebruikhetapparaatuit,verwijder•
de netstekker uit het stopcontact en wacht
totdat het apparaat is afgekoeld.

Reiniging en onderhoud
Het apparaat moet na ieder gebruik worden
gereinigd.
Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw
aandacht voor de volgende punten:
- Schakel voor reiniging en onderhoud het
apparaat uit, verwijder de netstekker uit het
stopcontact en wacht totdat het apparaat is
afgekoeld.
- Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of
andere vloeistoffen.
- Wees altijd voorzichtig wanneer u het mes
reinigt. Het mes is zeer scherp. Gevaar voor
persoonlijk letsel.
Voordat u verdergaat, willen wij graag dat u uw
aandacht vestigt op de volgende punten:
- Gebruik geen bijtende of schurende
reinigingsmiddelen om het apparaat te
reinigen.
- Gebruik geen scherpe voorwerpen om het
apparaat te reinigen.
- Reinighetapparaatnietindevaatwasser.Het
wordt aanbevolen om de verwijderbare
onderdelen van het apparaat of de
accessoires niet in een vaatwasser te wassen.
• Controleer het apparaat regelmatig op
mogelijke schade.
Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met•
een vochtige doek. Droog de buitenkant van
het apparaat grondig met een schone, droge
doek.
Reinig de accessoires:•
- Reinig de kan, het kandeksel en het
kandekselinzetstuk in sop.
- Spoel de accessoires af onder stromend
water.
- Droog de accessoires grondig.
Assembleer het apparaat.•
Zie het gedeelte "Assemblage".
Doe het apparaat en de accessoires in de•
originele verpakking.
Berg het apparaat met de accessoires op•
op een droge en vorstvrije plaats, buiten
bereik van kinderen.
Reinigen van het mes (fig. B & C)
Het mes moet na ieder gebruik worden
gereinigd.
Voordat u verder gaat, vragen wij graag uw
aandacht voor de volgende punten:
- Wees altijd voorzichtig wanneer u het mes
reinigt. Het mes is zeer scherp. Gevaar voor
persoonlijk letsel.
Ontgrendel de kan (2) door hem linksom•
te draaien. Verwijder de kan (2) van het
apparaat.
Draai de kraag (6) los van de onderkant•
van de kan (2).
Verwijder het mes (5) uit de kraag (6).•
Verwijder de afdichtingsring (7) van het•
mes (5).
Reinig het mes (5), de kraag (6) en de•
afdichtingsring (7) in sop. Spoel de
accessoires af onder stromend water.
Droog de accessoires grondig.
Plaats de afdichtingsring (7) op het mes (5).•
Plaats het mes (5) in de kraag (6).•
Draai de kraag (6) vast op de onderkant•
van de kan (2).
Monteer de kan (2) op het apparaat.•
Vergrendel de kan (2) door hem rechtsom
te draaien.

Lees voor gebruik de gebruiksaanwijzing•
zorgvuldig door. Bewaar de gebruik-
saanwijzing voor toekomstig gebruik.

Gebruik het apparaat en de accessoires•
uitsluitend voor hun beoogde doeleinden.
Gebruik het apparaat en de accessoires niet
vooranderedoeleindendanbeschreveninde
gebruiksaanwijzing.
Houd altijd toezicht op kinderen om te•
voorkomen dat ze met het apparaat spelen.
Het apparaat is niet bedoeld om gebruikt te•
worden door personen (inclusief kinderen)
met een lichamelijke, zintuiglijke, of
geestelijke beperking, of zonder de
benodigde ervaring en kennis tenzij ze
onder toezicht staan of instructies hebben
gekregen over hoe het apparaat kan
worden gebruikt door een persoon die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
Gebruik het apparaat niet als een onderdeel•
of een accessoire beschadigd of defect is.
Indien een onderdeel of een accessoire
beschadigd of defect is, moet het door de
fabrikant of een erkend servicecentrum
worden vervangen.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van•
badkuipen, douches, wastafels of andere
voorzieningen die water bevatten.
Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of•
andere vloeistoffen. Verwijder het apparaat
niet met uw handen indien het apparaat is
ondergedompeld in water of andere
vloeistoffen.
Verwijder onmiddellijk de netstekker uit
het stopcontact. Gebruik het apparaat niet
opnieuw indien het apparaat is onder-
gedompeld in water of andere vloeistoffen.
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor•
huishoudelijk gebruik en voor gelijksoortige
toepassingsgebieden zoals werknemers-
kantines in winkels, kantoren en andere
werkomgevingen; boerderijen; door gasten
in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts en
andere woonomgevingen.
Elektrische veiligheid
Controleer voor gebruik altijd of de•
netspanning overeenkomt met de spanning
op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.
Hetapparaatmagnietwordenbedienddoor•
middel van een externe timer of een apart
afstandsbedieningssysteem.
Sluit het apparaat aan op een geaard•
stopcontact. Gebruik indien nodig een
geaarde verlengkabel met een geschikte
diameter (minimaal 3 x 1 mm2).
Installeer voor extra bescherming een•
aardlekschakelaar (RCD) met een nominale
reststroom van maximaal 30 mA.
Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in de pluggen•
van het netsnoer en het verlengsnoer kan
komen.
Draai het netsnoer en het verlengsnoer altijd•
volledig uit.
Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer niet over de•
randvaneenwerkbladhangt.Zorgervoordat
het netsnoer niet per ongeluk verstrengeld
raakt of de oorzaak van een struikeling kan
vormen.
Houd het netsnoer uit de buurt van•
warmtebronnen, olie en scherpe randen.
Gebruik het apparaat niet als het netsnoer•
of de netstekker beschadigd of defect is.
Indien het netsnoer of de netstekker
beschadigd of defect is, moet het door de
fabrikant of een erkend servicecentrum
worden vervangen.
Trek niet aan het netsnoer om de netstekker•
van de netvoeding te verwijderen.
Verwijder de netstekker van de netvoeding•
wanneer het apparaat niet in gebruik is,
voor montage- of demontage-
werkzaamheden en voor reinigings- en
onderhoudswerkzaamheden.

Gebruik het apparaat niet buitenshuis.•
Plaats het apparaat op een stabiel en vlak•
oppervlak.
Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van•
warmtebronnen. Plaats het apparaat niet op

Gebruik het apparaat niet met een lege kan.•
Monteer altijd het kandeksel en het•
kandekselinzetstuk voordat u het apparaat
inschakelt.
Laat het apparaat niet continu ingeschakeld•

Your 212023 Princess blender has been designed
for the following applications: chopping and
mashing fruits and vegetables; preparing
smoothies, shakes and juices; preparing cold
soups; preparing dressings, dips and sauces. The
maximum capacity of the appliance is 1500 ml.

Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- The appliance has been designed for mixing
cold and lukewarm ingredients (max. 55 °C).
It is recommended not to use the appliance
for mixing hot liquids and solids. Hot liquids
and solids can easily cause the jar to break
and the jar lid to abruptly come off the
appliance due to steam pressure. Keep the
jar lid pressed with your hand when mixing
lukewarm liquids to prevent leakage.

Use
Switching on and off (fig. A)
Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Do not switch on the appliance when the jar
is empty.
- Do not leave the appliance switched on
continuously for more than two minutes.
To switch on the appliance with continuous•
low speed, set the on/off switch (1) to the
'I' position.
To switch on the appliance with continuous•
high speed, set the on/off switch (1) to the
'II' position.
To switch on the appliance in pulse mode,•
set the on/off switch (1) to the 'P' position.
To switch off the appliance, set the on/off•
switch (1) to the 'O' position.
Hints for use
Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Do not overload the appliance. Do not put
too many ingredients into the jar at one time.
Cut the fruit and/or vegetables into pieces.•
Make sure that the pieces of fruit and/or
vegetables fit in the jar.
Remove the jar lid from the jar.•
Put the pieces of fruit and/or vegetables into•
the jar.
Assemble the appliance. Refer to the section•
"Assembly".
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.•
Switch on the appliance. The appliance•
chops the pieces of fruit and/or vegetables
in a few seconds. The longer the appliance
is switched on, the finer the pieces of fruit
and/or vegetables will be chopped.
If necessary, add more pieces of fruit and/or•
vegetables:

- Turn the jar lid insert counterclockwise to
remove the jar lid insert from the jar lid.
- If the pieces are too large for the filling
opening of the jar lid, switch off the
appliance, remove the jar lid, and add the
pieces of fruit and/or vegetables.
- Mount the jar lid onto the jar.
- Mount the jar lid insert into the jar lid.
- Switch on the appliance. The appliance
chopsthepiecesoffruitand/orvegetables
in a few seconds. The longer the appliance
is switched on, the finer the pieces of fruit
and/or vegetables will be chopped.
After use, switch off the appliance, remove•
the mains plug from the wall socket and wait
until the appliance has cooled down.

Cleaning the blade (fig. B & C)
The blade must be cleaned after each use.
Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Always be careful when cleaning the blade.
The blade is very sharp. Risk of personal injury.
Unlock the jar (2) by turning it•
counterclockwise. Remove the jar (2) from
the appliance.
Loosen the collar (6) from the bottom of•
the jar (2).
Remove the blade (5) from the collar (6).•
Remove the seal ring (7) from the blade (5).•
Clean the blade (5), the collar (6) and the•
seal ring (7) in soapy water. Rinse the
accessories under running water. Thoroughly
dry the accessories.
Place the seal ring (7) onto the blade (5).•
Place the blade (5) into the collar (6).•
Tighten the collar (6) onto the bottom of•
the jar (2).
Mount the jar (2) onto the appliance. Lock•
the jar (2) by turning it clockwise.
