PERFORMANCE 350I treadmill. The PERFORMANCE
350I treadmill provides an impressive selection of fea-
tures designed to make your workouts at home more
effective and enjoyable.

 If you have questions after
reading this manual, please see the front cover of this
manual. To help us assist you, note the product model
number and serial number before contacting us. The
model number and the location of the serial number
decal are shown on the front cover of this manual.
Before reading further, please familiarize yourself with
the parts that are labeled in the drawing below.

Use the drawings below to identify small parts used for assembly. The number in parentheses below each draw-
ing is the key number of the part, from the PART LIST near the end of this manual. The number following the key
number is the quantity used for assembly. 


• Assembly requires two persons.
• Place all parts in a cleared area and remove the
packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing

• After shipping, there may be an oily substance
on the exterior of the treadmill. This is normal. If
there is an oily substance on the treadmill, wipe
it off with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive
cleaner.
• Left parts are marked “L” or “Left” and right parts
are marked “R” or “Right.”
• To identify small parts, see page 6.
• Assembly requires the following tools:
the included hex key
one Phillips screwdriver
one adjustable wrench
To avoid damaging parts, do not use power tools.


Note: If you do not have internet access, call

manual) and register your product.

3. Identify the Right Upright (76). Have a sec-
ond person hold the Right Upright near the
Base (74).
 Tie the wire tie in the
Right Upright (76) securely around the end of the
Upright Wire (63). Then, insert the Upright Wire
into the lower end of the Right Upright as you
pull the other end of the wire tie through the top
of the Right Upright.

2. 
Remove and discard the two screws (A) and the
shipping bracket (B) on the right side of the Base
(74). Then, remove and discard the screws and
the shipping bracket (not shown) on the left side
of the Base.
Next, remove the tie securing the Upright Wire
(63).
Then, press a Base Cap (70) into each side of
the Base (74).

5. Hold the Right Upright (76) against the Base
(74). 

Insert a 3/8" x 3 1/4" Screw (2) with a 3/8" Star
Washer (3) into the top hole in the Right Upright
(76). Partially tighten the Screw into the Base
(74).
Partially tighten two more 3/8" x 3 1/4" Screws
(2) with two 3/8" Star Washers (3) into the Right
Upright (76) and the Base (74); 

 
 Note: There are no wires on the left

4. Lay the Right Upright (76) near the Base (74) as
shown. Attach the ground wire to the Base with a
#8 x 1/2" Ground Screw (1).
Then, press the Upright Grommet (73) into the
square hole in the Right Upright (76).

7. Set the console assembly face down on a
soft surface to avoid scratching the console
assembly.
Remove and discard the two indicated screws
(C). Then, remove the Console Crossbar (61).

6. Identify the Right Handrail (64). Have a second
person hold the Right Handrail near the Right
Upright (76).
Route the Upright Wire (63) into the bottom of
the Right Handrail (64) and out of the hole in the
Right Handrail.

Insert and partially tighten a 5/16" x 3/4"
Screw (5) with a 5/16" Star Washer (6) into the
Right Upright (76) and the Right Handrail (64).
Then, partially tighten a 5/16" x 3" Screw (7)
with a 5/16" Star Washer into the Right Handrail
and the Right Upright; 

 
 Note: There are no wires on the left
side.

9. Attach the Console Crossbar (61) to the Left
and Right Uprights (66, 76) with four #10 x 3/4"
Screws (8) and four #10 Star Washers (23);

 
(5) and the two 5/16" x 3" Screws (7).

8. Remove and discard the four indicated
screws (D). 8

11. Insert the wires into the Right Handrail (64)
through the indicated hole as you set the con-
sole assembly on the Left and Right Uprights
(66, 76). 
Attach the console assembly with ten #8 x 3/4"
Screws (4); 

Firmly tighten the six 3/8" x 3 1/4"
Screws (2).

10. With the help of a second person, hold the con-
sole assembly near the Right Handrail (64).
Connect the Upright
Wire (63) to the console wire. 

If they do not, turn one connector and try
again.-


Then, remove the wire tie from
the Upright Wire.
Connect the console ground wire to the ground
wire on the Console Crossbar (61).

13. Remove the 5/16" Nut (80) and the 5/16" x 1 1/2"
Bolt (78) from the bracket on the Base (74).
Next orient the Storage Latch (68) as shown.
Attach the lower end of the Storage Latch (68)
to the bracket on the Base (74) with the 5/16" x
1 1/2" Bolt (78) and the 5/16" Nut (80) as shown.
Then, raise the Storage Latch (68) to a vertical
position, and remove the tie (E).

12. Raise the Frame (38) to the upright position.



Attach the Latch Crossbar to the brackets on the
Frame (38) with two 1/4" x 1 3/4" Screws (77).

16.  If there are sheets of plastic
on the treadmill decals, remove the plastic. To protect the floor or carpet, place a mat under the treadmill. To
avoid damage to the console, keep the treadmill out of direct sunlight. Keep the included hex keys in a secure
place; one of the hex keys is used to adjust the walking belt (see pages 25 and 26). Note: Extra hardware
may be included.
14. Remove the 5/16" Nut (80) and the 5/16" x 1 3/4"
Bolt (79) from the bracket on the Latch Crossbar
(67).
Align the upper end of the Storage Latch (68)
with the bracket on the Latch Crossbar (67), and
insert the 5/16" x 1 3/4" Bolt (79) through the
bracket and the Storage Latch. 


Next, tighten the 5/16" Nut (80) onto the 5/16" x
1 3/4" Bolt (79). 

Then, lower the Frame (38) (see HOW TO
LOWER THE TREADMILL FOR USE on
page 23).

 If it should malfunction
or break down, earthing provides a path of least resis-
tance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric

earthing conductor and an earthing plug. 



1. Plug the indicated end of the power cord into the
socket on the treadmill.
2. Plug the power cord into an appropriate outlet that
is properly installed and earthed in accordance with
all local codes and ordinances.










The treadmill console offers a selection of features
designed to make your workouts more effective and
enjoyable.
When you use the manual mode, you can change the
speed and incline of the treadmill with the touch of a
button. As you exercise, the console will display instant
exercise feedback. You can even measure your heart
rate using the handgrip heart rate monitor or a compat-
ible heart rate monitor. 
-

In addition, the console features a selection of on-
board workouts. Each workout automatically controls
the speed and incline of the treadmill as it guides you
through an effective exercise session.
You can also connect your smart device to the console
and use an iFit® app to record and track your workout
information.
You can even listen to your favorite workout music or
 sound system while you
exercise.

Plug in the power cord (see
page 15). Next, locate the
power switch on the tread-
mill frame near the power
cord. Press the power
switch into the reset
position.
Next, stand on the
foot rails of the
treadmill. Find the
clip attached to the
key and slide the clip
onto the waistband of
your clothes. Then,
insert the key into
the console. After a
moment, the display
will light.










 Press the Manual Control button to select the
manual mode.

To start the walking belt, press the Start button or
one of the Quick Speed buttons.
If you press the Start button, the walking belt will
begin to move at 2 Km/H. As you exercise, change
the speed of the walking belt as desired by press-
ing the Speed increase and decrease buttons.
Each time you press one of the buttons, the speed
setting will change by 0.1 Km/H; if you hold down
the button, the speed setting will change in incre-
ments of 0.5 Km/H. Note: After you press the
button, it may take a moment for the walking belt to
reach the selected speed setting.
If you press one of the Quick Speed buttons, the
walking belt will gradually change speed until it
reaches the selected speed setting.
To stop the walking belt, press the Stop button.


To change the incline of the treadmill, press the
Incline increase and decrease buttons or one of the
Quick Incline buttons. Each time you press one of
the buttons, the treadmill will gradually adjust to the
selected incline setting.
 
As you walk or run on the treadmill, the display can
show the following workout information:
• The incline level of the treadmill
• Your heart rate (see step 7)
• Your power level in watts
• The speed of the walking belt
• The elapsed time
• Your pace
• The approximate number of calories you have
burned
• The distance that you have walked or run
Press the Display button to view the desired infor-
mation in the display.
As you exercise, the power ring will indicate
the approximate intensity level of your exercise.
To adjust the intensity level, press the Watts/Kg
increase or decrease button. The speed and/or
incline settings of the treadmill will automatically
increase or decrease to reach the desired intensity
level.
To reset the display, press the Stop button repeat-
edly, or remove the key and then reinsert the key.
 
You can measure your heart rate using either the
handgrip heart rate monitor or a compatible heart
rate monitor. 


The console is compatible with all BLUETOOTH®
Smart heart rate monitors. To connect your heart
rate monitor to the console, see page 21.

 



To select an onboard workout, press the Watts
Workouts, the Interval Workouts, or the Speed
Workouts button repeatedly until the desired work-
out appears in the display.

Press the Start button to start the workout. A
moment after you press the button, the treadmill

incline settings of the workout. Hold the handrails
and begin walking.

Each workout is divided into segments. One speed
setting and one incline setting are programmed for
each segment. Note: The same speed setting and/
or incline setting may be programmed for consecu-
tive segments.
If the speed or incline setting is too high or too low
at any time during the workout, you can manu-
ally override the setting by pressing the Speed or
Incline buttons; 

To stop the workout at any time, press the Stop
button. To resume the workout, press the Start but-
ton. The walking belt will begin to move at 2 Km/H.
When the next segment of the workout begins, the
treadmill will automatically adjust to the speed and
incline settings for the next segment.
 

time remaining instead of the elapsed time.
 

During an interval training workout, you will repeatedly
alternate between intervals of low-intensity “recovery”
exercise and intervals of high-intensity “work” exercise.
 

Press the speed and incline buttons to select the
desired speed setting and the desired incline set-
ting for the recovery intervals. Then, press and hold
the Recovery button until the console beeps twice.
 
Press the speed and incline buttons to select the
desired speed setting and the desired incline set-
ting for the work intervals. Then, press and hold the
Work button until the console beeps twice.
 

As you exercise, press the Recovery button to
select the speed and incline settings that you
selected for recovery intervals. Press the Work but-
ton to select the speed and incline settings that you
selected for work intervals. Alternate between the
settings as many times as desired.
To change the settings at any time, repeat steps 2
and 3.
 

time remaining instad of the elapsed time.

The console supports BLUETOOTH connections to
smart devices via the iFit app and to compatible heart
rate monitors. Note: Other BLUETOOTH connections
are not supported.
 

On your IOS®or AndroidTM smart device, open the
App StoreSM or the Google PlayTM store, search for
the free iFit app, and then install the app on your
smart device. 

Then, open the iFit app and follow the instructions
to set up an iFit account and customize settings.
 
Follow the instructions in the iFit app to connect
your smart device to the console.
When a connection is established, the LED on the


