DESCRIPTION
The RMW1000 Wireless Microphone is a UHF, PLL controlled, dual antenna diversity system providing a
reliableandhighqualitysignaltransmissionandequippedwithautomaticchannelscanandIRsync.
RMW1000WirelessMicrophonesystemfeatures3units:RMW1000receiver,RMW1Mhandheldtransmitter
and RMW1H body pack transmitter. The system is available in two different configurations, each of them
includinganABScarryingcase:
RMW1000M: RMW1000+RMW1M
RMW1000H: RMW1000+RMW1H+headsetmicrophone
96 channel frequencies are available allowing the simultaneous use of 8 devices without interference
betweenthem(seedetailedexplanationsfurtherinthismanual).

Thisisthefirstreceivingantenna.Screwitinandraiseitupduringtheuseand,inordertoobtaina
betterreception,placethereceiverawayfromothermetalobjectsanddistantnomorethan50mfrom

Thisisthesecondreceivingantenna.Screwitinandraiseitupduringtheuse.Theinternaldiversity
receivingcircuitchoosesthebettersignalfromoneofthetwoantenna.

4. OUTPUT(BALANCED)
Balancedoutputwithmiclevel:connectitthroughaXLRcabletoamixerinput.Thisoutputisused
preferablyforlongruns.
5. OUTPUT(UNBALANCED)
Unbalancedoutputwithlinelevel:connectitthroughamono6.3mmjackcabletoamixerorinstrument
amplifierinput.Thisoutputisusedpreferablyforshortruns.
6. VOLUME
Volumepotentiometer:usingasmallscrewdriversetthiscontroltoaproperlevelthatdoesn’tsaturate
themixerinputchannel.
7. POWER
On/offswitch:pressandholdfortwosecondstoswitchonoroffthereceiver.
8. READY
GreenLED:ifitisonindicatesthatthetransmitterissendingaradiosignaltothereceiver,ifitisoffthe
transmitterdoesn’tsendaradiosignal.Inthiscasecheckiftheassignedtransmitterisofforsetin
anotherchannel.
9. AUDIOBARLED
Showsthepresenceofanaudiosignal:notethatthelevelindicationisindependentfromtheVOLUME
setting.

Startingfromthesetupofthethirdradiomicandsoonaproblemwilloccur:INTERMODULATION.
Inpractice,whenthreeormoretransmittersareplacedinthesamelocationtheirtransmitting
channelfrequenciescouldbecombinedtogethertoproduceotherspuriousfrequencies.These
frequenciescanberevealedfromtheinternalcircuitryoftheotherreceiversbringthemunusable.
Toavoidthisproblemwehavepreparedtwotable(oneforeachradiorange)ofcompatible
frequenciesthatavoidtheintermodulationproblem.
CombiningthesefrequencieswiththeprevioustableoftheGROUPCHANNELyoucanchooseand
setatleast8channelforeachradiorange.Theonlyinconvenientisthattobesurethatyouare
usingarightfrequencysetyouhavetoprogrameachreceivermanuallyonebyone.
