Bitte lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal
verwenden.
Vielen Dank für den Kauf des Promed HGP-1.7 Heizgürtel. Mit dem behaglichen, elektronischen
Heizgürtel sind Sie in der Lage, Ihren Körper oder bestimmte einzelne Körperregionen angenehm zu wärmen.
Der Klettverschluss ermöglicht ein besonders einfaches Fixieren des Heizgürtels am Körper und sorgt somit
immer für einen optimalen Sitz. Die Verwendung dieses Heizgürtels unterstützt die Durchblutung und somit
die Entspannung der angespannten Muskelbereiche und steigert das allgemeine Wohlbefinden. Genießen
Sie die kuschelige Wärme für entspannende Momente wann immer Sie möchten, z.B. auf der Couch. Das
Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch und nicht für gewerbliche Anwendungen oder den Einsatz in
Krankenhäusern oder Arztpraxen gedacht. Um alle Vorteile Ihres Heizgürtels nutzen zu können, lesen Sie
bitte diese Anleitung gründlich und beachten Sie die Hinweise zur Pflege und Sicherheit. Dies ermöglicht
Ihnen den Heizgürtel für eine lange Zeit genießen zu können. Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung für die
weitere Verwendung oder, falls Sie den Heizgürtel einer anderen Person geben wollen, sorgfältig auf. Wir,
der Hersteller, können in keiner Weise haftbar gemacht werden für Verletzungen bzw. Schäden an Personen
oder Sachen, die sich aus Nichtbeachten dieser Anleitung ergeben. Wir wünschen Ihnen mit Ihrem neuen
Promed HGP-1.7 viel Freude. Im Folgenden möchten wir Sie mit dem Gerät vertraut machen. Lesen Sie
bitte vor der ersten Anwendung die Gebrauchsanweisung.

Bitte überprüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die Vollständigkeit der Lieferung.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Heizgürtel nicht eingeklemmt wird.
Verwenden Sie nur Originalteile!
Verwenden Sie kein anderes Bedienteil!
Achtung
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass der Heizgürtel locker anliegt, d.h. dass etwas Luft zwischen dem
Heizgürtel und Ihrer Haut während der Anwendung zirkulieren kann.
Verhindern Sie unbedingt einen Wärmestau.
1. Kontrollieren Sie ob die beiden Stecker (Stecker des Bedienteils (G) und Stecker des Heizgürtels (H))
miteinander verbunden sind. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, verbinden Sie beide miteinander. Sonst stellen
Sie bitte sicher, dass diese korrekt miteinander verbunden sind. Um den Heizgürtel zu betreiben, stecken
Sie den Netzstecker (A) in die Netzsteckdose. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige „ ” welche nach ca. 1
Sekunde erlischt. Als Hinweis, dass der Heizgürtel mit der Stromversorgung verbunden ist, leuchtet weiterhin
der rote Punkt rechts unten im Display.
2. Um den Heizgürtel einzuschalten, drücken Sie die Ein / Aus Taste (F).
3. Um die gewünschte Temperatur einzustellen drücken Sie die Temperaturtaste (D). Sie können die gewünschte
Temperatur in 10 Stufen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, H) einstellen. Um die Temperatur zu erhöhen, drücken Sie
auf das „+“ in der oberen Hälfte der Temperaturtaste (D). Um die Temperatur zu verringern, drücken Sie
auf das „-“ in der unteren Hälfte der Temperaturtaste (D).
4. Um die gewünschte Betriebsdauer einzustellen drücken Sie die Timertaste (E). Sie können die gewünschte
Betriebszeit im 9 Stufen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) einstellen. Hierbei entspricht jede Stufe ca. 10 Minuten
Betriebszeit.
Um die Betriebszeit zu erhöhen, drücken Sie auf das „+“ in der oberen Hälfte der Timertaste (E). Um die
Betriebszeit zu verringern, drücken Sie auf das „-“ in der unteren Hälfte der Timertaste (E). Nach dem
Einstellen der Betriebszeit schaltet die Anzeige zurück auf die ausgewählte Temperaturstufe.
5. Der Heizgürtel ist so programmiert, dass beim Einschalten eine Standardeinstellung von 40 Minuten
Betriebszeit und Temperaturstufe 4 voreingestellt ist.
6. Der Heizgürtel schaltet sich automatisch nach Ablauf der gewählten Betriebszeit ab.
7. Um den Heizgürtel nach Ablauf der gewählten Betriebsdauer neu zu starten, drücken Sie einfach die Ein /
Aus Taste (F).
8. Für einen Dauerbetrieb des Heizgürtels empfiehlt es sich, die Temperaturstufen 1 - 4 zu verwenden.
Hinweis:
Wenn der Heizgürtel und das Bedienteil nicht, oder nicht korrekt miteinander verbunden sind, erscheint im
Display der Buchstabe „E“. Diese Anzeige erscheint auch, wenn das Bedienteil oder die Heizdrähte des
Heizgürtels defekt sind.
9. Automatische Abschaltung
Der elektrische Heizgürtel schaltet sich automatisch nach dem Ablauf der ausgewählten Betriebszeit ab.
Dies spart Energie und sorgt für eine zusätzliche Sicherheit, dass der Heizgürtel nicht ohne Aufsicht in
Betrieb ist.
10. Nach Gebrauch bitte den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

• Vor dem Reinigen des Heizgürtels unbedingt den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
• Der Heizgürtel kann von Hand oder in der Waschmaschine mit Feinwaschmittel bei 40°C gewaschen
werden.
• Den Heizgürtel nicht bügeln.
• Bitte verwenden Sie keine chlorhaltigen Reinigungsmittel.
• Den Heizgürtel nicht chemisch reinigen.
• Der Heizgürtel kann nicht in einem Trockner getrocknet werden.
• Verwenden Sie keine Hochdruckreiniger
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Bedienteil nicht in Berührung mit Flüssigkeiten kommt. Die Flüssigkeit könnte zu
Schäden führen.
• Verwenden Sie niemals den Heizgürtel, während er nass oder feucht ist. Die Heizgürtel darf während des
Trocknens nicht eingeschaltet werden.
• Lassen Sie den Heizgürtel an der Luft trocknen. Verwenden Sie keine Hilfsmittel (z.B. Wäscheklammern) um
ihn zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Dies könnte die innenliegenden Kabel beschädigen.
Lagerung und regelmäßige Inspektion
• Den Heizgürtel nicht zerknittern. Falten Sie das Produkt sorgfältig für die Lagerung.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Ort auf, wenn es nicht in Gebrauch ist.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es Falten oder Rollen.
• Das Gerät ist häufig dahingehend zu prüfen, ob es Anzeichen von Abnutzung oder Beschädigung zeigt.
Falls solche Anzeichen vorhanden sind oder falls das Gerät unsachgemäß gebraucht wurde oder das Gerät
nicht funktioniert, muss es vor erneutem Gebrauch zum Händler zurückgegeben werden.
• Verwenden Sie keinen chemischen Mottenschutz.
• Legen Sie während der Lagerung keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Gerät, dies könnte die elektrischen
Leitungen beschädigen.
• Im Falle von Fehlfunktionen oder Defekten, senden Sie das Gerät an den Hersteller.
Vor Inbetriebnahme bitte beachten:
A. Der Heizgürtel darf nur mit dem mitgelieferten Bedienteil verwendet werden.
B. Spannungsversorgung des Heizgürtels: 220 - 240V~.
C. Falls Probleme am Heizgürtel auftreten, senden Sie diesen bitte zum Hersteller.
D. Nur für den Gebrauch in Innenräumen.
E. Bei Verwendung eines Elektrogerätes in der Nähe von Kindern ist eine gewissenhafte
Beaufsichtigung erforderlich.

GEFAHR!
• Bringen Sie das Gerät nie mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten direkt in Kontakt.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Badewanne, Dusche, Pools, Saunen oder im Freien.
• Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur mit der vorgegebenen Netzspannung.
• Das Gerät darf nicht im Freien benutzt werden.
• Dieses Gerät verwendet Netzspannung, deshalb gelten die gleichen Sicherheitsbestimmungen, wie für
jedes andere elektrische Gerät.
• Kontrollieren Sie vor jeder Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes, dass alle Komponenten des Gerätes in
einwandfreiem Zustand sind. Im Falle eines Defekts oder einer Fehlfunktion, schalten Sie das Gerät sofort
aus und ziehen den Netzstecker vom Stromnetz.
• Reparaturen dürfen ausschließlich vom Hersteller durchgeführt werden. Öffnen Sie niemals das Gerät. Die
einzelnen Komponenten dieses Gerätes dürfen nicht zerlegt, repariert oder modifiziert werden.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen und mit einem trockenen Körper.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von anderen Wärmequellen.
• Das Gerät niemals am Netzkabel tragen oder ziehen. Ziehen Sie das Kabel am Stecker und niemals am
Kabel aus der Steckdose.
• Das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen lassen und nicht
über heiße Gegenstände (z.B. Herdplatten) oder offene Flammen legen oder hängen, sowie vor Hitze oder
Öl schützen.
• Verlängerungskabel nur dann verwenden, wenn Sie sich vorher von deren einwandfreiem Zustand
überzeugt haben.
• Sollte das Netzkabel des Gerätes einmal beschädigt sein, lassen Sie es umgehend durch einen Fachmann
ersetzen.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals, nachdem das Stromkabel beschädigt wurde, das Gerät heruntergefallen
ist oder es mit Wasser in Kontakt kam.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von Kleinkindern (0-3 Jahre) benutzt werden.
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und Wissen verwendet werden, wenn sie durch
eine für Ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt werden oder von dieser Person eine ausführliche
Anleitung zur Benutzung des Gerätes in der Art und Weise erhalten haben, dass Sie die damit verbundenen
Gefahren verstehen.
• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Reinigungs- und Instandhaltungsarbeiten dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Aufsicht durchgeführt werden.
• Ein Elektrogerät ist kein Kinderspielzeug. Kinder erkennen die Gefahren nicht, die beim Umgang
mit Elektrogeräten entstehen können. Das Gerät deshalb außer Reichweite von Kindern benutzen und
aufbewahren.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz, bevor Sie es reinigen. Stellen Sie während der Reinigung sicher,
dass keine Flüssigkeiten mit dem Schalter in Kontakt kommen und dass das Gerät nur in einem absolut
trockenen Zustand verwendet wird.
• Keine Nadeln oder spitzen Gegenstände in das Gerät einführen.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt, wenn sich Kinder oder ungeübte Personen im Umgang mit
diesem Gerät in der Nähe befinden.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für Anwendungen, wie in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben.
• Lassen Sie Kinder nie mit dem Verpackungsmaterial spielen, es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

• Das Gerät nicht auf heiße Oberflächen oder in Nähe von offenen Gasflammen abstellen oder benutzen,
damit das Gehäuse nicht schmilzt.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe eines Waschbeckens oder einer Badewanne auf, da die Gefahr
besteht, dass es ins Waschbecken oder die Badewanne fallen oder gezogen werden kann.
•Bitte konsultieren Sie vor der Verwendung des Gerätes einen Arzt, wenn Sie an einer Erkrankung wie, z.B.
Krampfadern, Thrombose, etc., leiden
•Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals mit offenen Wunden, Verbrennungen, Hämatomen, Schwellungen oder
ähnlichen Verletzungen.
• Beenden Sie die Anwendung des Gerätes umgehend, wenn diese sich unangenehm für Sie anfühlt.
Wärmeempfindliche Personen sollten insbesondere das Gerät mit Vorsicht benutzen und nur kurze
Anwendungszeiten verwenden.
•Die vom Heizgürtel ausgehenden elektrischen und magnetischen Felder können unter Umständen die Funktion
eines Herzschrittmachers stören. Bitte befragen Sie Ihren Arzt und den Hersteller Ihres Herzschrittmachers
vor der Verwendung der Heizdecke.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals an Tieren.
Achtung!
•Um die ordnungsgemäße Funktionalität des Bedienelements zu gewährleisten, legen Sie es nicht auf oder
unter das Gerät.
• Verwenden Sie niemals den Heizgürtel, wenn er zusammengeklappt, zerknittert oder
zusammengeschoben ist.
•Das Gerät darf nicht von jungen Kindern im Alter über drei Jahre benutzt werden, es sei denn, die
Regel- und/oder Steuereinheiten sind von einem Elternteil oder einer Aufsichtsperson voreingestellt worden
oder das Kind ist ausreichend eingewiesen worden, wie es die Regel- und/oder Steuereinheiten sicher
betreibt.
• Nicht verwenden, wenn das Gerät nass ist.
•Das Gerät darf nicht von hilflosen Personen oder Personen, die unempfindlich gegen Hitze sind, verwendet
werden.
• Kinder unter drei Jahren dürfen das Gerät, aufgrund ihrer Unfähigkeit auf eine Überhitzung zu reagieren,
nicht verwenden.
• Die elektronischen Bauteile im Schalter können sich beim Gebrauch des Heizgürtels erwärmen. Der Schalter
darf deshalb nicht abgedeckt werden, oder auf dem Heizgürtel liegen, wenn es betrieben wird.
•Zum Lagern des Gerätes lassen Sie es vor dem Falten abkühlen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Heizgürtel nicht
knittert und, dass keine Gegenstände auf ihr gelagert werden.

Elektrowerkzeuge, Zubehör und Verpackungen sollen einer umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung zugeführt
werden.
Nur für EU-Länder:
Werfen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge nicht in den Hausmüll! Gemäß der Europäischen
Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte und ihrer Umsetzung in
nationales Recht müssen nicht mehr gebrauchsfähige Elektrowerkzeuge getrennt
gesammelt und einer umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden.
Innerhalb der EU weist dieses Symbol darauf hin, dass dieses Produkt nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden
darf. Altgeräte enthalten wertvolle recyclingfähige Materialien, die einer Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden
sollten, um der Umwelt bzw. der menschlichen Gesundheit nicht durch unkontrollierte Müllbeseitigung zu schaden.
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte deshalb über geeignete Sammelsysteme oder senden Sie das Gerät zur Entsorgung
an die Stelle, bei der Sie es gekauft haben. Diese wird dann das Gerät der stofflichen Verwertung zuführen.
Dieses Produkt wurde mit aller Sorgfalt hergestellt und vor Verlassen des Werkes eingehend geprüft. Deshalb
leisten wir auf dieses Produkt eine Garantie von 24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Promed Produkte entsprechen
ihrer Beschreibung und den jeweiligen Spezifikationen; es obliegt Ihrer Verantwortlichkeit, sicher zu stellen, dass
die Produkte, die Sie kaufen, für die von Ihnen beabsichtigte Nutzung ausgelegt sind.
• Bei nachweisbaren Material- und/oder Herstellerfehlern, die bei vorschriftsmäßigem Gebrauch auftreten
und die während der Garantiezeit erkannt werden, ersetzen wir innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos
sämtliche mangelhaften Teile des Produktes, inklusive des Lohnkostenanteils der Garantiereparaturen.
•Die Garantie umfasst nicht:
• den normalen Verschleiß des Produktes. Mängel, die durch den Transport oder die Lagerung des
Produktes verursacht werden. Mängel oder Beschädigungen, die durch unvorschriftsmäßige
Verwendung oder mangelhafte Wartung verursacht werden. Schäden auf Grund der Nichtbeachtung
der Hinweise in der Bedienungsanleitung. Schäden auf Grund von Modifikationen des Produktes, die
nicht von Promed durchgeführt wurden.
• Beschädigungen durch scharfe Gegenstände, in Folge von Torsion, Stauchung, Fall, eines anormalen
Stoßes oder sonstiger Handlungen, die außerhalb der angemessenen Kontrolle von Promed liegen.
• Verschleißteile (z.B. bewegliche Teile wie Kugellager etc., Verschlüsse) sind generell von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.
• Ein Garantieanspruch ist nicht durchsetzbar, wenn:
das Produkt nicht in seiner Originalverpackung oder einer adäquaten sicheren Verpackung zurück gesandt
wird; es durch eine andere Person oder ein Unternehmen, ausgenommen Promed oder eines von Promed
autorisierten Händlers, modifiziert oder repariert wurde; das Produkt mit nicht von Promed genehmigten
Ersatzteilen repariert wurde; die Seriennummer / LOT-Nummer des Produkts entfernt, gelöscht, geändert
oder unleserlich gemacht wurde.
• Aus hygienischen Gründen müssen Produkte, die einem direkten Körperkontakt bzw. einem Kontakt mit
Körperflüssigkeiten (z.B. Blut) ausgesetzt sind, vor der Rücksendung in einen extra Kunststoffbeutel verpackt
werden. In diesen Fällen muss in dem Paket bzw. in den Begleitpapieren ein spezieller Hinweis auf diesen
Sachstand gegeben werden.
• Für während der Garantiezeit instandgesetzte Komponenten oder ausgetauschte Produkte wird die Garantie
nur für die verbleibende ursprüngliche Garantiezeit gewährt; vorausgesetzt, dass dieser Austausch oder
diese Instandsetzung durch Promed oder einem von Promed autorisierten Händler vorgenommen wurde.
• Die Garantiezeit beginnt am Tage des Kaufs. Garantieansprüche müssen innerhalb der Garantiezeit geltend
gemacht werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit auftretende Reklamationen können nicht berücksichtigt
werden. Die Garantie tritt im Rahmen dieser Garantiebedingungen nur dann in Kraft, wenn das Kaufdatum
durch einen Kaufbeleg oder ähnliches nachgewiesen wird. Technische und optische Änderungen, sowie
Änderungen der Ausstattung sind vorbehalten!
Diese Garantie ist nur in dem Land rechtsgültig und durchsetzbar, in dem das Produkt durch den Erstkäufer

erworben wurde, vorausgesetzt, dass die Absicht von Promed war, dass das Produkt für den Verkauf
in diesem Land angeboten wird. Diese Garantie ist ebenfalls in jedwedem Land im Europäischen
Wirtschaftsraum durchsetzbar, in dem Promed über einen autorisierten Importeur oder einen
Vertriebspartner verfügt. Es können, in Abhängigkeit von dem jeweiligen Land, besondere und abweichende
Garantien und Gewährleistungen aufgrund der jeweils anwendbaren Gesetzgebung einschlägig sein.
Diese Rechtsvorschriften werden durch diese Garantiebedingungen weder ausgeschlossen noch beschränkt.
Soweit durch nationales Recht zulässig, wird die Garantiezeit nicht verlängert, erneuert oder anderweitig
beeinträchtigt durch einen nachfolgenden Wiederverkauf, eine Instandsetzung oder einen Austausch des
Produkts.
• Die Bestimmungen des UN Kaufrechts finden keine Anwendung. Die gesetzliche Gewährleistungspflicht
des Verkäufers bleibt von unseren Garantiebedingungen unberührt. In dem, durch die anwendbare
zwingende Gesetzgebung größtmöglichen Umfang, stellen diese Garantiebedingungen Ihr einziges und
ausschließliches Rechtsmittel dar und gelten anstelle sämtlicher sonstiger ausdrücklicher oder konkludenter
Garantiebedingungen. Promed haftet nicht für ungewöhnliche, beiläufig entstandene, Straf- oder
Folgeschäden, einschließlich, aber ohne Beschränkung auf, entgangenen Gewinn, Nutzungsausfall,
Einnahmeausfall, Kosten für Ersatzausrüstung oder -einrichtungen, Versicherungsansprüche Dritter,
Eigentumsverletzungen, die sich aufgrund des Erwerbs oder Gebrauchs des Produktes oder wegen einer
Garantieverletzung, eines Vertragsbruchs, Fahrlässigkeit, Produktfehlern oder anderen rechtlichen oder
gesetzlichen Umständen ergeben, auch wenn Promed von der Möglichkeit solcher Schäden wusste.
Promed haftet nicht für eine Verzögerung bei der Inanspruchnahme der Garantieleistungen.

Please read the instructions for use carefully before using the device for the first time.
Thank you very much for choosing the Promed HGP-1.7 heating belt. With this cosy, electric heating belt,
you will be able to comfortably warm up your body or specific individual body regions. The Velcro® fastener
allows you to fasten the heating belt to your body in a particularly simple manner and thus always ensures
optimum fit. Using this heating belt supports the blood circulation and thus the relaxation of tense muscle areas
and increases general well-being. Enjoy the cosy warmth for moments of relaxation whenever you like, for
example when sitting or lying on the couch. The device is only intended for domestic use and not for commercial
applications or use in hospitals or medical practices. To be able to make use of all advantages of your heating
belt, please read these instructions thoroughly and observe the care and safety instructions. This will allow you to
enjoy the heating belt for a long time. Please keep these instructions carefully for further use or if you wish to hand
the heating belt over to another person. We, the manufacturer, cannot be held liable for any personal injuries
or damage to property resulting from the failure to comply with these instructions. We hope you enjoy your new

Before getting started, please check that the delivery is complete.
Make sure that the heating belt does not get stuck.
Please use original parts only!
Please do not use any other controller!
Attention
Please ensure that the heating belt is not too tight so that some air can circulate between the heating
belt and your skin when using it.
Under all circumstances, avoid accumulation of heat.
1. Check if the two plugs (plug of the controller (G) and plug of the heating belt (H)) are connected to each
other. If they are not, connect them to each other. Otherwise, please ensure that they are correctly connected
to each other. To operate the heating belt, insert the power plug (A) into the power socket. On the display
screen, the display “ ” appears which disappears after approx. 1 second. As an indicator that the heating
belt is connected to the power supply system, the red dot remains lit on the bottom right of the display screen.
2. To switch on the heating belt, press the ON/OFF button (F).
3. To set the temperature desired, press the temperature button (D). You can set the desired temperature in
10 levels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, H). To increase the temperature, press the “+” in the upper half of the
temperature button (D). To decrease the temperature, press the “-” in the lower half of the temperature
button (D).
4. To set the operating time desired, press the timer button (E). You can set the desired operating time in 9 levels
(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). Here, each level corresponds to an operating time of approx. 10 minutes.
To increase the operating time, press the “+” in the upper half of the timer button (E). To decrease the
operating time, press the “-” in the lower half of the timer button (E). After the operating time has been set,
the display returns to the temperature level selected.
5. The heating belt is programmed so that a default setting of an operating time of 40 minutes and temperature
level 4 are preset when you switch on the device.
6. The heating belt switches off automatically after the operating time selected has expired.
7. To restart the heating belt after the operating time selected has expired, simply press the ON/OFF button
(F).
8. For the continuous operation of the heating belt, it is recommended to use the temperature levels 1 - 4.
Please note:
If the heating belt and the controller are not, or not correctly, connected to each other, the letter “E” appears
on the display screen. This display is also shown if the controller or the heating wires of the heating belt are
defective.
9. Automatic switch-off
The electric heating belt switches off automatically after the operating time selected has expired. This saves
energy and additionally ensures that the heating belt is not operated without supervision.
10. After use, please disconnect the power plug from the power socket.

• Before cleaning the heating belt, the power plug must be disconnected from the power socket.
• The heating belt can be washed by hand or in the washing machine at 40°C using a mild detergent.
• Do not iron the heating belt.
• Please do not use any detergents containing chlorine.
• Do not dry clean the heating belt.
• The heating belt cannot be tumble dried.
• Do no use any high-pressure cleaners.
• Make sure that the controller does not come into contact with any liquids. Liquids may result in damage.
• Never use the heating belt while it is wet or damp. The heating belt must not be switched on while it is
drying.
• Let the heating belt air dry. Do not use any auxiliary means (such as clothes pegs) to hang it up to dry. This
may damage the cables inside.
Storage and regular inspection
• Do not crumple the heating belt.Carefully fold the product to store it.
• Store the device in a dry place when it is not in use.
• Allow the device to cool before you fold or roll it up.
• Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the appliance has
been misused or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.
• Please do not use any chemical moth protection.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the device during storage, as this may damage the electrical wiring.
• In the event of malfunction or defects, send the device to the manufacturer.
Please note the following aspects prior to any commissioning:
A. The heating belt may only be used with the controller supplied.
B. Voltage supply of the heating belt: 220 - 240V~.
C. If any problems occur with the heating belt, please send it to the manufacturer.
D. Only for indoor use.
E. When using an electrical device near children, conscientious
supervision is required.

components of this device must not be disassembled, repaired or modified.

• Never operate the device next to other sources of heat.
• Never carry or pull the device by holding it on the power cable. Disconnect the cable from the power socket
using the plug and never using the cable.
• Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges or pinch it, do not let it hang down and do not place or
suspended it over hot objects (e.g. hobs) or open flames and protect it against heat or oil.
• Only use an extension cable if you previously made sure that it is in a perfect condition.
• If the power cable of the device is damaged, have it immediately replaced by an expert.
• Never use the device after the power cable has been damaged, the device has been dropped or come into
contact with water.
• Remove the power plug from the power socket if the device is not in use.
• The device must not be used by infants and small children (0-3 years).
• This device can be used by children from the age of eight and people with limited physical, sensory
or intellectual capabilities or with lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received extensive instructions in how to use the device by this person in
such a manner that they understand the associated risks.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• An electrical device is not a toy. Children do not realise the risks which may result from using

• Immediately stop using the device if it feels uncomfortable for you. Heat-sensitive people in particular should
use the device carefully and only for short periods of application.
•The electric and magnetic fields generated by the heating belt may interfere with the proper functioning of
a cardiac pacemaker under certain circumstances. However, they do not exceed the limit values. Please
consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your cardiac pacemaker before using the heating blanket.

a parent or legal guardian or unless the child has been sufficiently trained and instructed in how to operate
the device.
• Do not use the device when it is wet.
•T he device must not be used by helpless and defenceless people or people insensitive to heat.
•C hildren under the age of three must not use the device due to their inability to react to overheating.
•The electronic components in the switch may heat up when the heating belt is used. Therefore, the switch
must not be covered or lie on the heating belt when it is in operation.
•T o store the device, let it cool off before folding it. Make sure that the heating belt does not wrinkle and that
no objects are placed on it.
Power tools, accessories, and packaging should be recycled in an environmentally suitable manner.

This product was produced with the utmost care and was thoroughly tested before it left the factory. Therefore,
we provide a warranty period of 24 months from the date of purchase for this product. Promed products
conform to their description and the relevant specifications; it is your responsibility to ensure that the product
which you have purchased is designed for your intended use.
• In the event of material defects and/or manufacturing errors which appear during proper use and are
detected during the warranty period, we will replace all defective parts of the product free of charge within
the warranty period, including the labour costs for warranty repairs.
• The warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear on the product
• Defects which were caused during transportation or storage of the product
• Defects or damage which were caused through improper use or inadequate maintenance
• Damage resulting from disregarding the notes in the operating manual
• Damage resulting from modifications to the product which were not carried out by Promed.
• Damage caused by sharp objects or as a result of torsion, compression, being dropped, an abnormal
impact or other actions which are beyond Promed’s reasonable control.
• Parts which are subject to wear (e.g. moving parts such as ball bearings, etc., fasteners, etc.) are
generally excluded from the warranty.
• A claim under the warranty is not enforceable if:
• the product is not sent back in its original packaging or in adequately secure packaging;
• it has been modified or repaired by a person or company other than Promed or one of Promed’s
authorised dealers;
• the product has been repaired using parts which are not approved by Promed;
• the serial number / LOT number of the product has been removed, deleted, changed or made
illegible.
• For reasons of hygiene, any products which have been exposed to direct contact with a body or with
bodily fluids (e.g. blood) must be packaged in an additional plastic bag before they are sent back. In
this case, a specific note of this situation must be made in the package or in the accompanying documents.
• For components or products which are replaced during the warranty period, a warranty is only provided for
the remainder of the original warranty period; provided that the product or part replacement was carried
out by Promed or one of Promed’s authorised dealers.
• The warranty period begins on the day of purchase. Claims under the warranty must be established within
the warranty period. Complaints arising after the expiry of the warranty period cannot be considered.
• Under these warranty conditions, the warranty shall only apply if the date of purchase can be proven
by means of a sales receipt or similar.
• We reserve the right to make technical and visual changes as well as changes to the features.
• This warranty is only valid and enforceable in the country in which it was purchased by the original buyer,
provided that it was Promed’s intention that the product should be offered for sale in this country. This
warranty is also enforceable in any country within the European Economic Area in which Promed has
an authorised importer or sales partner. Depending on each country, specific and differing warranties and
guarantees may be applicable owing to the particular applicable legislation. These legal provisions are
neither excluded nor limited by these warranty conditions. To the extent permissible under national law, the
warranty period shall not be extended, renewed or otherwise affected by any subsequent resale, repair or
replacement of the product.
• The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.
• Our warranty conditions do not affect the seller’s legal warranty obligation.

Attention
Veuillez-vous assurer que la ceinture chauffante soit placé de façon lâche, c.à.d. que de l’air puisse
circuler entre la ceinture chauffante et votre peau pendant l’application.
Évitez impérativement toute accumulation de chaleur.
1. Vérifiez que les deux connecteurs (connecteur de la commande (G) et connecteur de la ceinture chauffante
(H)) soient bien raccordés ensemble. Si tel ne devait pas être le cas, raccordez-les l’un à l’autre. Sinon,
assurez-vous qu’ils soient raccordés correctement. Pour actionner la ceinture chauffante, branchez la fiche
secteur (A) dans la prise secteur. L’écran affiche le message « », qui disparaît après env. 1 seconde. Un
voyant rouge situé en bas à droite de l’écran reste allumé pour indiquer que la ceinture chauffante est bien
reliée à l’alimentation électrique.
2. Pour allumer la ceinture chauffante pour le dos et la nuque, appuyez sur le bouton On / Off (F).
3. Pour régler la température souhaitée, appuyez sur le bouton de température (D). Vous pouvez régler la
température souhaitée sur 10 niveaux (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, H). Pour augmenter la température,
appuyez sur « + » sur la moitié supérieure du bouton de température (D). Pour diminuer la température,
appuyez sur « - » sur la moitié inférieure du bouton de température (D).
4. Pour régler la durée d’utilisation souhaitée, appuyez sur le bouton minuteur (E). Vous pouvez régler la durée
d’utilisation souhaitée sur 9 niveaux (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). Chaque niveau correspond ici à 10 minutes
d’utilisation.
5. La ceinture chauffante est programmée de sorte qu’un réglage standard de 40 minutes d’utilisation à un
niveau de température de 4 est paramétré au moment de l’allumage.
6. La ceinture chauffante s’arrête automatiquement après écoulement de la durée d’utilisation choisie.
7. Pour faire redémarrer la ceinture chauffante après écoulement de la durée d’utilisation sélectionnée,
appuyez simplement sur le bouton On / Off (F).
8. Pour utiliser la ceinture chauffante sur une longue durée, il est recommandé d’utiliser les niveaux de
température 1 - 4.
Remarque :
Lorsque la ceinture chauffante et la commande ne sont pas ou pas correctement raccordés l’un à l’autre,
l’écran affiche la lettre « E ». Ce message s’affiche également lorsque la commande ou les fils chauffants de
la ceinture chauffante sont défectueux.
9. Arrêt automatique
La ceinture chauffante s’éteint automatiquement après expiration de la durée d’utilisation souhaitée. Ceci
permet d’économiser de l’énergie et constitue une sécurité supplémentaire afin que la ceinture chauffante ne
fonctionne pas sans surveillance.
10. Veuillez débrancher la fiche secteur de la prise après utilisation.

• Avant de nettoyer la ceinture chauffante, débranchez impérativement la fiche secteur de la prise
d’alimentation.
• La ceinture chauffante peut être lavée à la main ou en machine à 40°C avec une lessive pour linge
délicat.
• La ceinture chauffante ne doit pas être repassée.
• Veuillez ne pas utiliser de produits nettoyants chlorés.
• La ceinture chauffante ne doit pas être nettoyée à sec.
• La ceinture chauffante ne doit pas être séchée au sèche-linge
• N‘utilisez pas de nettoyeur à haute pression.
• Assurez-vous que la commande n’entre pas en contact avec des liquides sous peine de provoquer des
dommages.
• N’utilisez jamais la ceinture chauffante si elle est encore mouillée ou humide. La ceinture chauffante ne doit
pas être allumée pendant le séchage.
• Laissez la ceinture chauffante sécher à l’air. N’utilisez aucun dispositif (comme des pinces à linge) pour la
suspendre pendant le séchage. Ceci pourrait endommager les câbles situés à l’intérieur de la ceinture.
Stockage et inspection régulière
• Ne chiffonnez pas la ceinture chauffante. Pliez soigneusement l’appareil avant de le stocker.
• Conservez l’appareil dans un endroit sec lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.
• Laissez refroidir l’appareil avant de le plier ou de le rouler.
• Il convient de contrôler souvent si l’appareil présente des signes d’usure ou d’endommagement. Si tel est
le cas ou si l’appareil a été utilisé de façon non conforme ou ne fonctionne pas, il doit être renvoyé au
fabricant avant de pouvoir l’utiliser à nouveau.
• N’utilisez aucun produit antimite chimique.
• Ne placez aucun objet lourd sur l’appareil pendant son stockage sous peine d’endommager les câbles
électriques.
• En cas de dysfonctionnement ou de défaut, renvoyez l’appareil au fabricant.

• Laissez l’appareil refroidir avant de le replier et de le stocker. Assurez-vous que la ceinture chauffante ne soit
pas chiffonnée et qu’aucun objet ne soit posé dessus.
