FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•Please ensure the engine is cold before proceeding with the fitment of the R&G
engine case cover.
•Remove the four bolts arrowed in picture 1, hold the cover up to the casing to
identify the correct bolts. DO NOT REMOVE ALL THE ENGINE CASE BOLTS.
•Offer the R&G cover up to the engine case and carefully fit over the casing.
Please ensure that the four bolt holes in the cover are aligned with the holes in
the engine case and then push on as far as it will go.
•Fit the specified bolts through the cover and into the engine case (please see
picture 1).
•Using a 5mm Allen key or socket bit tighten the bolts evenly to pull the cover into
position. DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN AT THIS STAGE.
•Finally use a torque wrench set at 10 N/m (7lb/ft) to fully tighten.
•It is suggested that you check the tightness of the mounting bolts after the first
heat cycle and then on a regular basis i.e. - when cleaning or once a month.
•NOTE: - For the cleaning of this product you should only use a soft polishing cloth
and a mild general cleaning agent.
•AVOID HARMFUL CHEMICALS. IF IN DOUBT DO NOT USE AS THEY COULD ALTER
THE STRENGTH OF THE COVER.
•R&G will accept no liability if the above procedures and torque setting are not
followed.
•PLEASE NOTE: - On the CBR500R the right-hand side fairing should be
removed to allow access to the required bolts please see below.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Right Hand Side (as you sit on the bike)
•Remove the push rivets and the fairing bolts arrowed in pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 and
6. Then carefully remove the right-hand side fairing.
•Please ensure the engine is cold before proceeding with the fitment of the R&G
engine case cover.
•Remove the four bolts arrowed in picture 1, hold the cover up to the casing to
identify the correct bolts. DO NOT REMOVE ALL THE ENGINE CASE BOLTS.
•Offer the R&G cover up to the engine case and carefully fit over the casing.
Please ensure that the four bolt holes in the cover are aligned with the holes in
the engine case and then push on as far as it will go.

such state shall conform to the order. The Buyer acknowledges no representation or warranty (other than as to
title) has been given or will apply to the Products other than those in R&G’s order or confirmation and the
Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality and suitable for its particular
purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and care
and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any
defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall
not be liable if the Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with
R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or
neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal
injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the
amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the
Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned
direct to us if they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be
returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are
subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at
time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products,
unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Veuillez-vous assurer que le moteur soit froid avant de procéder au montage de
la protection R&G.
•Retirez les quatre boulons fléchés sur la photo 1, tenez le couvercle autour du
carter pour identifier les bons boulons. NE RETIREZ PAS TOUS LES BOULONS DE
CARTER DE MOTEUR.
•Mettez en place le couvercle R&G sur le carter moteur et placez-le soigneusement
autour du carter. Veuillez-vous assurer que les quatre trous de boulon dans le
couvercle soient alignés avec les trous dans le carter du moteur, puis poussez au
maximum.
•Placer les boulons spécifiques à travers le couvercle et dans le carter moteur (voir
photo 1).
•À l'aide d'une clé Allen de 5 mm ou d'une douille, serrez uniformément les
boulons pour tirer le couvercle en position. NE SERREZ PAS COMPLÈTEMENT À CE
STADE.
•Enfin, utilisez une clé dynamométrique réglée à 10 N / m (7 lb / pi) pour serrer
complètement.
•Il est conseillé de vérifier le serrage des boulons de montage après le premier
cycle de chauffage, puis régulièrement, c'est-à-dire lors du nettoyage ou une fois
par mois.
•NOTE : - Pour le nettoyage de ce produit, vous ne devez utiliser qu'un chiffon
doux et un produit de nettoyage général doux.
•ÉVITEZ LES PRODUITS CHIMIQUES NOCIFS. EN CAS DE DOUTE, NE PAS
UTILISER CAR ILS POURRAIENT ALTÉRER LA RÉSISTANCE DE LA COUVERTURE.
•R&G n'acceptera aucune responsabilité si les procédures ci-dessus et le réglage
du couple ne sont pas suivis.
•NOTE: - Sur le CBR500R, le carénage droit doit être retiré pour permettre
l'accès aux boulons requis, voir photos 2,3,4,5 et 6 ci-dessus.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
Côté droit (lorsqu’on est assis sur la moto)
•Retirez les rivets et les boulons de carénage fléchés sur les photos 2, 3, 4, 5 et 6.
Retirez ensuite délicatement le carénage droit
•Veuillez-vous assurer que le moteur soit froid avant de procéder au montage de
la protection R&G.
•Retirez les quatre boulons fléchés sur la photo 1, tenez le couvercle autour du
carter pour identifier les bons boulons. NE RETIREZ PAS TOUS LES BOULONS DE
CARTER DE MOTEUR.
•Mettez en place le couvercle R&G sur le carter moteur et placez-le soigneusement
autour du carter. Veuillez-vous assurer que les quatre trous de boulon dans le
couvercle soient alignés avec les trous dans le carter du moteur, puis poussez au

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Motor kalt ist, bevor Sie mit der Montage der R&G
Motorgehäuse-Abdeckung beginnen.
•Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, die in den Abbildung 1 abgebildet sind. Um die
richtigen Schrauben identifizieren zu können, halten Sie die Abdeckung an das
Gehäuse. ENTFERNEN SIE NICHT ALLE SCHRAUBEN AM MOTORGEHÄUSE.
•Die R&G Abdeckung an das Motorgehäuse ansetzen und vorsichtig anbringen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die vier Öffnungen für die Schrauben mit den Bohrungen
im Motorgehäuse ausgerichtet sind, dann die Abdeckung so weit wie möglich
eindrücken.
•Die Schrauben wie vorgegeben (siehe Abbildung 1) durch die Abdeckung in das
Motorgehäuse einführen.
•Ziehen Sie die Schrauben mit einem 5mm Inbusschlüssel oder Bit gleichmäßig
fest, so dass sie die Abdeckung in Position ziehen. ZU DIESEM ZEITPUNKT NICHT
FESTZIEHEN.
•Benutzen Sie einen Drehmomentschlüssel, der auf 10 N/m (7 Lb/ft) eingestellt
ist, um die Schrauben festzuziehen.
•Es wird empfohlen, die Festigkeit der Schrauben in regelmäßigen Abständen (d.h.
nach der ersten Fahrt mit der Abdeckung, einmal im Monat) zu kontrollieren.
•HINWEIS: Bei der Reinigung dieses Produkts benutzen Sie nur ein weiches
Poliertuch und ein mildes Putzmittel.
•VERMEIDEN SIE SCHÄDLICHE CHEMIKALIEN. IM ZWEIFELSFALL NICHT
BENUTZEN, DA SIE DIE FESTIGKEIT DER ABDECKUNG VERÄNDERN KÖNNEN.
•R&G übernimmt keine Haftung, wenn die obengenannten Schritte nicht
eingehalten werden oder die angegebenen Anzugsdrehmomente nicht
angewendet werden.
•WICHTIGER HINWEIS: Beim Modell CBR500R muss die rechte
Seitenverkleidung entfernt werden, um Zugang zu den benötigten Schrauben zu
ermöglichen –siehe Fotos 2,3,4,5 und 6 oben.

Rechte Seite (in Fahrtrichtung)
•Entfernen Sie die Plastiknieten und die Verkleidungsschrauben, die in den
Abbildungen 2, 3, 4, 5 und 6 gekennzeichnet sind, dann die rechte
Seitenverkleidung vorsichtig entfernen.
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Motor kalt ist, bevor Sie mit der Montage der R&G
Motorgehäuse-Abdeckung beginnen.
•Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, die in den Abbildung 1 abgebildet sind. Um die
richtigen Schrauben identifizieren zu können, halten Sie die Abdeckung an das
Gehäuse. ENTFERNEN SIE NICHT ALLE SCHRAUBEN AM MOTORGEHÄUSE.
•Die R&G Abdeckung an das Motorgehäuse ansetzen und vorsichtig anbringen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die vier Öffnungen für die Schrauben mit den Bohrungen
