FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•To fit the R&G tail tidy, remove the seat using the key as shown in picture 1.
•Remove the Main seat by removing the two securing bolts fastening the seat to the frame.
CB300R Models
•Remove the brown plastic wiring locator from its mount at the rear of the bike as shown in picture
2 by gently squeezing the locking tabs on the back of the locator
•Disconnect the original licence plate light by lifting the tab securing the block connectors together
and gently pulling the two pieces apart as seen in picture 3
CB125R Models
•Locate the indicator connector block on the left-hand side of the bike tucked inside the fairing, peel
back the wire cover to access the white connector as shown in picture 4
•Remove any cable ties and loosen the wires so they are free of any locators or routing that would
obstruct removal.
On Both Models
•While supporting the main tail unit, undo the 4 Allen head bolts on the underside of the tail
•Carefully remove the tail unit while threading the wires through the hole in the LHS of the tail
piece.
Tail unit disassembly
•The tail unit contains a sub loom for the indicators and OEM licence plate illuminator light. During
reassembly, this will need to be removed in the following steps.
•Remove the 4 screws and central bolt on the underside of the unit as shown in pictures 8 and 9.
•Remove the two screws above the reflector to split the rear piece from the stem as shown in picture
10.
•Disconnect the indicator wires and tail light wires from their bullet connectors to remove the sub-
loom from the stem by splitting the two-piece assembly down the middle as shown in picture 11
and 12.
Tail Tidy Assembly
If fitting OEM Indicators
•Remove the 1 x Allen head bolt from each indicator from the locator plate as shown in picture 13.
•Remove the indicator from its location by removing the plastic plate on the inside of the indicator
mount and squeezing the rubber through the location hole on the OEM tail piece as shown in
image 14. Do this for both indicators ensuring to take note of which side each indicator was
removed from.
•In the same fashion, assemble the indicators on the correct sides to the R&G tail tidy using the
same mounting technique. A small amount of dish soap or lubricant may help in fitting the rubber.
•Use the indicator spacer (item 10) on the inside of the rubber stem to keep the indicators level.
•Refit the location plates and hex bolts to secure the indicators to the tail tidy as shown in image 15.
If fitting R&G Mini Indicators
•To fit R&G mini indicators you will need to use the adaptor plate provided (item 11).

•Assemble the mini indicator by sliding one of the adaptors over the indicator wires with the boss
facing away from the indicator.
•Thread the indicator wire through the tail tidy mount until the adaptor boss sits snugly inside the
mount.
•Now thread a second adaptor plate over the wire and press this into the opposite side of the
indicator mount
•Now replace the flanged nut provided with the mini indicators over the wires and begin winding
this onto the thread of the indicator –do not tighten fully
•Slide the indicator wiring cover (item 15) over the exposed wires and slide this over the nut and
into position as shown in picture 16.
•While holding the wiring cover back tighten the nut with a 12mm spanner until the indicator is
secure against the adaptor and replace the wiring cover as shown in picture 16 –Do not over
tighten
•Repeat both sides
•Fit one length of heat shrink supplied (item 4) to protect the indicator wiring on both indicators.
•Fit the remaining length of heat shrink supplied to cover the wires from the licence plate
illuminator.
•Fit the license plate illuminator (item 4) to the tail tidy bracket (item 1) as shown in picture 17
•Use your 6mm spanner to tighten the illuminator to the mounting tab as shown in picture 18
•Align the two slots of the tail tidy support bracket (item 2) to the underside of the tail tidy
assembly as shown in image 19
•Attach the support plate to the tail tidy bracket using two m5 bolts and nyloc nuts (items 8 and 9)
through the two rearward slots as shown in image 20. Do not tighten these at this stage.
•Neatly route the wire towards the front of the tail tidy securing it to the underside of the LH leg of
the bracket with the indicator wires.
•With the tail tidy now assembled, offer the assembly up to the bike as seen in picture 23 and feed
the wire through the access hole on the left-hand side of the tail where the original wires were
routed.
•Using two spacers (item 18) placed into the tail mount recesses and M6 x 20 button head bolts
(item 5) with M6 washers (item 6) carefully secure the front 2 mount holes of the tail tidy to the
motorcycle as shown in pictures 24. Do not overtighten as this could cause damage to the plastic
underside of the motorcycle, ensure to use a locking compound when fitting these bolts and keep
the tail tidy supported during the next step.
•Using the remaining spacers (item 18) and M6 x 20 (item 5) button head bolts with M6 washers
(item 6), secure the rear two tail tidy mounts ensuring the bolts pass though the support plate and
bracket. Do not overtighten as this could cause damage to the plastic underside of the motorcycle,
ensure to use a locking compound when fitting these bolts.
•Now with the tail tidy secure, tighten the bolts and nyloc nuts connecting the tail tidy and slotted
support bracket in their natural location.
•Attach the wiring cover plate (item 3) on the top of the tail tidy over the two supporting nylocs
using the two M4 button head bolts (item 7) and tighten to the correct torque as shown in image 21.
•Connect the indicator connectors to their counterparts on the OEM wiring sub-loom
•Connect the new licence plate illuminator to the original light connectors using the chart below:
oLicence plate illuminator BLACK to OEM WIRING GREEN/WHITE
oLicence plate illuminator RED to OEM BROWN/YELLOW
If using OEM indicators
•Route the indicators wires through their original connectors on the wiring sub loom, ensuring they
are connected to the correct LH/RH sides.

If using R&G mini indicators
•Route the indicator wires
•Using the bullet connectors:
oLeft indicator YELLOW to OEM ORANGE
oLeft indicator BLACK to OEM GREEN/WHITE
oRight Indicator YELLOW to OEM BLUE
oRight Indicator BLACK to OEM GREEN/WHITE
Please note if using R&G mini indicators you may require 2 x sets of RGR0002 indicator resistors (sold
separately) to obtain the correct flash rate.
•Reconnect the wiring sub loom to the original connector and neatly follow the original wiring path.
•Check operation of all lights at this stage. (if illumination fails, swap the bullet connectors around)
•Ensure all wires are tidy and clear of seat mounting areas before proceeding.
•Re-fit the seat.
•Ensure the tail tidy is securely mounted and all bolts are fully tightened to the correct torque.
•Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling to match tail tidy hole pattern).
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON THE
LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE HITTING THE
BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD. IT IS YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO
CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
•Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector in an appropriate location.
•Test the license plate illuminator and all lights before riding.

particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and care and rectify any
fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the warranty on the
motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a
replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise
than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or
neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be
liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or
the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were
purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable
condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at
the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products,
unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.

Notez que si les kits sont emballés avec des rondelles en caoutchouc servant à tenir les
composants, ces rondelles doivent être jetées !
NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Pour monter le support de plaque R&G, enlever le siège en utilisant la clé comme indiqué sur la
photo 1.
•Enlever le siège principal en enlevant les 2 boulons fixant le siège sur le cadre.
Modèles CB300R
•Enlever l’emplacement du fil marron en plastique de son support à l’arrière de la moto, voir photo
2 en tordant légèrement les onglets de blocage au bas de l’emplacement.
•Déconnecter le feu de plaque d’origine en levant l’onglet qui fixe les connecteurs du bloc ensemble
puis tirer les 2 pièces appart, voir photo 3.
Modèles CB125R
•Placer le bloc de connecteur de clignotant du côté gauche de la moto situé à l’intérieur du carénage,
dénuder le cache fil pour accéder au connecteur blanc, voir photo 4.
•Enlever les colliers de serrage puis desserrer les fils pour les libérer de toute contrainte qui pourrait
gêner le démontage.
Sur les 2 modèles
•Tout en supportant l’unité principale, défaire les 4 boulons au bas du support.
•Enlever l’unité tout en passant les fils dans le trou du côté gauche de l’unité.

Unité de support de plaque désassemblé
•L’unité de support contient un sous faisceau pour les clignotants et le feu de plaque d’origine.
Durant le réassemblage, il devra être retire selon les étapes suivantes.
•Enlever les 4 vis et le boulon central au bas de l’unité, voir photos 8 et 9.
•Enlever les 2 vis au-dessus du clignotant pour pouvoir séparer la pièce arrière de la tige, voir photo
10.
•Déconnecter les fils de clignotant et les fils de feu de leurs connecteurs pour enlever le sous-
faisceau de la tige en séparant l’assemblage des 2 pièces au milieu, voir photo 11 et 12.
Assemblage de support de plaque
Si vous montez les clignotants d’origine
•Enlever le boulon 1 x Allen de chaque clignotant de la plaque, voir photo 13.
•Enlever le clignotant de son emplacement en enlevant la plaque en plastique à l’intérieur du
support clignotant puis placer le caoutchouc dans le trou de fixation sur la pièce de support
d’origine, voir image 14. Faire cela pour les 2 clignotants en veillant à noter l’emplacement dont
chaque clignotant a été enlevé.
•De la même façon, assembler les clignotants des bons côtés sur le support de plaque R&G en
utilisant la même technique de montage. Un peu de savon ou de lubrifiant aidera à placer le
caoutchouc.
•Utiliser l’entretoise de clignotant (article 10) à l’intérieur de la tige en caoutchouc pour garder le
niveau des clignotants.
•Remonter les plaques de fixation et boulons pour fixer les clignotants sur le support de plaque, voir
image 15.
Si vous Montez les mini clignotants R&G
•Pour monter les mini clignotants R&G, vous devrez utiliser la plaque d’adaptateur fournie (article
11).
•Assembler le mini clignotant en glissant un des adaptateurs sur les fils de clignotant avec le patron
face au clignotant.
•Passer le fil de clignotant dans le support de plaque jusqu’à ce que le patron se place à l’intérieur
du support.
•A présent, placer une seconde plaque d’adaptateur sur le fil puis pressez la du côté opposé du
support de clignotant.
•Placer l’écrou fourni avec les mini clignotants sur les fils puis commencer à enrouler sur le filetage
du clignotant –Ne pas serrer complètement.
•Glisser le cache fil de clignotant (article15) sur les fils exposés puis glissez le sur l’écrou et dans sa
position, voir photo 16.
•Tout en tenant le cache fil, serrer l’écrou avec une clé de 12mm jusqu’à ce que le clignotant soit
serré contre l’adaptateur puis replacer le cache fil, voir photo 16 – NE PAS TROP SERRER.
•Répéter des 2 côtés.
•Appliquer un manchon thermo rétractable fourni (article 4) pour protéger le fil de clignotant sur les
2 clignotants.
•Appliquer le manchon thermo rétractable restant pour cacher les fils du feu de plaque.
•Monter le feu de plaque (article 4) sur le support de plaque (article 1), voir photo 17
•Utiliser une clé de 6mm pour serrer le feu sur l’onglet de support, voir photo 18.
•Aligner les 2 fentes sur le support de plaque (article 2) au-dessous de l’ensemble, voir image 19.

•Attacher la plaque de support sur le support de plaque en utilisant les 2 boulons m5 et écrous
(articles 8 et 9) dans les 2 fentes les plus reculées, voir image 20. Ne pas trop serrer pour le
moment.
•Router le fil vers l’avant du support de plaque qui le fixe au bas de la jambe gauche du support
avec les fils de clignotant.
•Une fois le support de plaque assemble, monter l’ensemble sur la moto, voir photo 23 puis passer
le fil dans le trou d’accès du côté gauche du support ou les fils d’origine étaient rangés.
•Utiliser 2 entretoises (article 18) places dans les creux du support de plaque pui des boulons M6 x
20 (article 5) avec des rondelles M6 (article 6) qui fixent les 2 trous de fixation avant du support de
plaque sur la moto, voir photos 24. Ne pas trop serrer car cela pourrait endommager le dessous en
plastique de la moto. Veillez à utiliser un produit de verrouillage lors du montage de ces boulons
et maintenez la queue bien en appui lors de la prochaine étape.
•Utiliser les entretoises restantes (article 18) et boulons M6 x 20 (article 5) avec des rondelles M6
(article 6), fixer les 2 supports de plaque arrière en veillant à ce que les boulons passent dans le
support de plaque et le suppor. Ne pas trop serrer car cela pourrait endommager le dessous en
plastique de la moto. Veillez à utiliser un produit de verrouillage lors du montage de ces boulons.
•Une fois le support de plaque fixé, serrer les boulons et écrous connectant le support de plaque et le
support fendu dans leur emplacement naturel.
•Attacher la plaque de cache fil (article 3) sur le dessus du support de plaque sur les 2 supports en
utilisant les boulons M4 (article 7) puis serrer selon la valeur de serrage recommandée, voir image
21.
•Connecter les connecteurs de clignotants sur leur emplacement sur le sous-faisceau de fils
d’origine.
•Connecter le nouveau feu de plaque à ses connecteurs de feu d’origine en utilisant ce schéma :
oFeu de plaque NOIR à FIL D’ORIGINE VERT/BLANC
oFeu de plaque ROUGE à JAUNE/MARRON d’origine
Si vous utilisez les clignotants d’origine
•Router les fils de clignotants dans les connecteurs d’origine sur le sous-faisceau de fil, en veillant à
ce qu’ils soient connectés du bon côté, gauche et droit.
Si vous utilisez les mini clignotants R&G
•Router les fils de clignotants
•Utiliser les connecteurs:
oClignotant gauche JAUNE à ORANGE d’origine
oClignotant gauche NOIR à VERT/BLANC d’origine
oClignotant droit JAUNE à BLEU d’origine
oClignotant droit NOIR à VERT/BLANC d’origine
Note : Si vous utilisez les mini clignotants R&G, vous aurez besoin de 2 sets kits de résistances de
clignotants RGR0002 (vendu séparément) pour obtenir le bon niveau d’éclairage.
•Reconnecter le sous faisceau de fils au connecteur d’origine puis suivre le chemin du fil d’origine.
•Vérifier le fonctionnement de tous les feux à ce stade. (Si l’éclairage échoue, tournez les
connecteurs).
•Veiller à ce que tous les fils soient serrés et ne se retrouvent pas aux endroits de fixation du siège,
avant de procéder.
•Remonter le siege.

graves pour le pilote.
•Selon les lois locales, attacher le réflecteur rouge à l’endroit approprié.
•Tester le feu de plaque, les clignotants, ainsi que l’ensemble des feux avant de prendre la
route.

The catalogue description and any exhibition of samples are only broad indications of the Products and R&G may make design
changes which do not diminish their performance or visual appeal and supplying them in such state shall conform to the order. The
Buyer acknowledges no representation or warranty (other than as to title) has been given or will apply to the Products other than those
in R&G’s order or confirmation and the Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality and suitable for its
particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and care and rectify any
fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the warranty on the
motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a
replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise
than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or
neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be
liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or
the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were
purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable
condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at
the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products,
unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Um den R&G Kennzeichenhalter montieren zu können, entfernen Sie zuerst den Sitz. Verwenden
Sie hierfür den Schlüssel –siehe Abbildung 1.
•Entfernen Sie den Sitz, indem Sie die zwei Befestigungsschrauben entfernen, die den Sitz am
Rahmen fixieren.
CB300R Modelle
•Entfernen Sie den braunen Positionsgeber (aus Kunststoff) für die Kabel von der Halterung hinten
am Heck –siehe Abbildung 2 (die Verriegelungslaschen zusammen drücken hinten am
Positionsgeber).
•Trennen Sie die original Kennzeichenbeleuchtung, indem Sie die Lasche heben, die die
Verbindungen zusammenhält, und die zwei Teile dann vorsichtig auseinander ziehen –siehe
Abbildung 3
CB125R Modelle
•Den Verbindungsblock für die Blinker an der linken Seite des Motorrades (an der Innenseite der
Verkleidung) orten und die Kabelabdeckung nach hinten abziehen, um Zugang zum weißen
Steckverbinder zu ermöglichen –siehe Abbildung 4.
•Entfernen Sie etwaige Kabelbinder und lösen Sie die Kabel, sodass sie ohne Hindernisse entfernt
werden können.

•Lösen Sie die vier Inbusschrauben an der Unterseite des Hecks - den Kennzeichenhalter dabei
stützen.
•Den Kennzeichenhalter vorsichtig entfernen und die Kabel durch die Öffnung an der linken Seite
des Heckteils führen.
Abbau des Kennzeichenhalters
•Im Heckteil befindet sich einen Kabelstrang für die Blinker und die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung, der
während des Wiederzusammenbaus wie folgt entfernt werden muss:
•Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben und die mittlere Schraube an der Unterseite des Heckteils –siehe
Abbildungen 8 und 9.
•Entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben oberhalb des Rückstrahlers, um das hintere Teil vom Vorbau zu
trennen –siehe Abbildung 10.
•Trennen Sie die Kabel für die Blinker und die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung von ihren Verbindern, um
den Kabelstrang zu entfernen und das zweiteilige Teil in der Mitte zu trennen –siehe Abbildungen
11 und 12.
Zusammenbau des Kennzeichenhalters
Wenn Sie die original Blinker verwenden:
•Entfernen Sie die 1 x Inbusschraube an jedem Blinker von der Halterungsplatte –siehe Abbildung
13.
•Entfernen Sie den Blinker, indem Sie die Kunststoffplatte an der Innenseite der Blinkerhalterung
entfernen und den Gummi durch die Öffnung am original Halter schieben - siehe Abbildung 14.
Bitte notieren Sie an welcher Seite der jeweilige Blinker ursprünglich montiert war.
•Auf gleiche Weise die Blinker am R&G Kennzeichenhalter montieren. Etwas Spülmittel kann bei
der Montage des Gummis helfen.
•Den Distanzhalter (Artikel 10) an der Innenseite des Gummistiels anbringen, um die Blinker auf
gleichem Level zu halten.
•Montieren Sie die Platten und die Sechskantschrauben wieder, um die Blinker am
Kennzeichenhalter zu befestigen –siehe Abbildung 15.
Wenn Sie R&G Miniblinker verwenden
•Um die R&G Miniblinker montieren zu können, benötigen Sie die mitgelieferte Adapterplatte
(Artikel 11).
•Den Miniblinker zusammensetzen wie folgt: zuerst einen Adapter über die Kabel ziehen, die
Lagernabe des Adapters ist hierbei weg von Blinker gerichtet.
•Das Kabel für den Blinker durch die Kennzeichenhalter-Halterung führen, bis die Lagernabe des
Adapters gut innerhalb der Halterung passt.
•Jetzt den zweiten Adapter über die Kabel schieben und in die gegenüberliegende Seite der
Halterung für den Blinker eindrücken.
•Die Flanschmutter, die mit den Miniblinkern geleifert wird, in das Gewinde des Blinkers eindrehen
–nicht festziehen!
•Die Kabelabdeckung für die Blinker (Artikel 15) über die Mutter in Position schieben –siehe
Abbildung 16.
•Die Kabelabdeckung zurückhalten während Sie die Mutter mit einer 12mm Schraubenschlüssel
festziehen bis der Blinker sicher am Adapter befestigt ist und die Kabelabdeckung anbringen wie
in Abbildung 16 abgebildet –Nicht zu fest anziehen!
•An beiden Seiten wiederholen.
•Jeweils 1 x Schrumpfschlauch (Artikel 13) an die Kabel für beide Blinker anbringen, um sie zu
schützen.
