Please note that the way the kit is packed does not necessarily represent the way of
mounting to the bike.
In the event of rubber washers being used to hold components onto bolts,
these rubber washers can be thrown away.

CABLE ROUTING DIAGRAM
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Before fitting the R&G tail tidy you will need to remove some OEM parts. Below is a list of parts
to be removed.
•Passenger seat unit
•OEM number plate bracket
•OEM indicators (to re-use with Tail Tidy)
Tail Tidy Assembly
Before assembling this product, ensure all the components within the box are correct
by comparing the legend and diagrams.
1. To start the assembly process, assemble the tail light (Items 4 & 5) with the number plate
bracket (ITEM 2) then attach the number plate bracket assembly to the main bracket (Item 1)
using x4 of ITEM 9, ITEM 10 and ITEM 12. As shown in DIAGRAM 1.

2. Before the Rubber bung (ITEM 13) can be mounted, you will need to cut a small cross into the
centre of the flat face to increase the size of the access hole for the wires/connectors to pass
through.
3. Now place the Rubber Grommet (ITEM 13) through the Licence plate bracket (ITEM 1) with
the flat face on the underside of the bracket, as shown in DIAGRAM 1.
4. Attach the OEM indicators to the main bracket (Item 1) and pass the indicator and tail light
cables through their individual routes, before passing the cables though the cable tie tab &
rubber bung, apply the larger heat shrink (Item 16) over all cables to keep them together.
5. Once the heat shrink has been applied, push the cables through the opening then through the
rubber bung and cable tie in the position shown in Diagram 2.
TAIL TIDY FITMENT:
6. Now the assembly is ready to be mounted to the motorbike. To do so you will need x4
(ITEM 8) & (ITEM 11) and the spacer plate (ITEM 3). Use DIAGRAM 1 to assist with where
each ITEM goes.
MAKE SURE TO SLOT x1 WASHER (ITEM 11) ONTO ALL BOLTS (ITEM 8) BEFORE MOUNTING.
7. Carefully tighten each bolt, taking care not to cross thread them, once tight check the clearance
between the undertray and the main bracket, if there is not enough clearance remove the tail
tidy and use the supplied self adhesive foam, which can be applied to the top side of the
bracket.
8. Then plug the connectors into the OEM loom and check indicator orientation. The OEM
indicators have small screws just below the lenses which should be oriented at the bottom of
the indicator.
ENSURE INDICATORS ARE CORRECT WAY AROUND BEFORE RIDING
9. Final step, re-install all OEM parts except from the OEM Number Plate Bracket. (The reflector
within the kit in case a new number plate is required).
IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT LOW DOWN ON THE
LICENCE PLATE MOUNT, THERE IS A POTENTIAL CHANCE THE LICENCE PLATE COULD HIT
THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD. IT IS YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE
TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.

than those in R&G’s order or confirmation and the Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality and
suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and
care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that
the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products R&G shall at its
option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have been modified or
used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the
defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death
and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts
paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they
were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be
in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the
gross value exc. P&P – at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns
of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to
faulty goods.

SCHÉMA D’ORGANISATION DES CÂBLES
NOTICE DE MONTAGE
Avant d'installer le support R&G, vous devrez retirer certaines pièces d’origine. Vous trouverez
ci-dessous une liste des pièces à supprimer.
•Unité de siège passager
•Support de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine
•Clignotants d’origine (à réutiliser avec le support)
Assemblage de support
Avant d'assembler ce produit, assurez-vous que tous les composants contenus dans la
boîte soient corrects en comparant la légende et les schémas.
1. Pour démarrer le processus d'assemblage, assemblez le feu arrière (Articles 4 et 5) avec le
support de plaque d'immatriculation (ARTICLE 2), puis fixez l'ensemble du support de plaque
d'immatriculation au support principal (Article 1) à l'aide des x4 de l'ARTICLE 9, ARTICLE 10 et
ARTICLE 12 Comme le montre le SCHÉMA 1.

2. Avant de pouvoir monter le bouchon en caoutchouc (ARTICLE 13), vous devrez couper une
petite croix au centre de la face plate pour augmenter la taille du trou d'accès pour le passage
des fils/connecteurs.
3. Placez maintenant l'œillet en caoutchouc (ARTICLE 13) à travers le support de plaque
d'immatriculation (ARTICLE 1) avec la face plate sur la face inférieure du support, comme
indiqué sur le SCHÉMA 1.
4. Fixez les clignotants d’origine au support principal (article 1) et faites passer les câbles des
clignotants et des feux arrière dans leurs itinéraires individuels. Avant de passer les câbles à
travers la languette d'attache de câble et le bouchon en caoutchouc, appliquez le plus grand
thermo rétractable (article 16) sur tous les câbles pour les maintenir ensemble.
5. Une fois la thermo rétraction appliquée, poussez les câbles à travers l'ouverture puis à travers
le bouchon en caoutchouc et l'attache-câble dans la position indiquée sur le schéma 2.
ASSEMBLAGE DE SUPPORT :
6. L'ensemble est maintenant prêt à être monté sur la moto. Pour ce faire vous aurez besoin de x4
(ARTICLE 8) & (ARTICLE 11) ainsi que de l’entretoise plate (ARTICLE 3). Utilisez le SCHÉMA 1
pour vous aider à déterminer où va chaque ARTICLE.
ASSUREZ-VOUS DE PASSER LA RONDELLE x1 (ARTICLE 11) SUR TOUS LES BOULONS (ARTICLE
8) AVANT LE MONTAGE.
7. Serrez soigneusement chaque boulon, en prenant soin de ne pas les croiser. Une fois serrés,
vérifiez le jeu entre le plateau inférieur et le support principal. S'il n'y a pas suffisamment de
jeu, retirez le support de queue et utilisez la mousse autocollante fournie, qui peut être
appliquée. sur le côté supérieur du support.
8. Branchez ensuite les connecteurs sur le métier à tisser d’origine et vérifiez l'orientation du
clignotant. Les clignotants d’origine ont de petites vis juste en dessous des lentilles qui doivent
être orientées vers le bas du clignotant.
ASSUREZ-VOUS QUE LES CLIGNOTANTS SOIENT OPÉRATIONNELS AVANT DE PILOTER
LA MOTO.
9. Dernière étape, réinstallez toutes les pièces d’origine, à l'exception du support de plaque
d'immatriculation d’origine. (Le réflecteur dans le kit au cas où une nouvelle plaque
d'immatriculation serait nécessaire).
IMPORTANT : SI VOUS MONTEZ UNE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION DE GRANDE TAILLE ET
LA PLACEZ BIEN EN BAS SUR LE SUPPORT DE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION, IL Y A UN
RISQUE QUE LA PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION FRAPPE LA ROUE ARRIÈRE SOUS UNE

VERLEGUNG DER KABEL - ZEICHNUNG
MONTAGEANLEITUNG
Bevor Sie den R&G Kennzeichenhalter montieren müssen einige Originalteile vom Motorrad
entfernt werden. Nachstehend finden Sie eine Liste der Teile, die wir empfehlen, abzumontieren:
•Fahrersitz-Einheit
•Original Kennzeichenhalter
•Originalblinker (werden am neuen Kennzeichenhalter montiert)
•Kabel für die Blinker und die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung
Kennzeichenhalter - Zusammenbau
Bevor Sie das Produkt zusammenbauen, stellen Sie sicher, dass der Inhalt des Kartons
vollständig ist (Lieferumfang mit der Liste und den Zeichnungen abgleichen).
10. Fangen Sie mit dem Zusammenbau des Rücklichts (ARTIKEL 4 & 5) und Kennzeichenhalter
(ARTIKEL 2) an – benutzen Sie jeweils 4x (ARTIKEL 9), (ARTIKEL 10) and (ARTIKEL 12) wie
in ZEICHNUNG 1 abgebildet.
11. Bevor der Gummistopfen (ARTIKEL 13) montiert werden kann, müssen Sie ein kleines Kreuz in
der Mitte der flachen Fläche schneiden, um ein Zugangsloch für das Einführen der Kabel /
Verbindungen zu machen.
12. Den Gummistopfen (ARTIKEL 13) nun in den Kennzeichenhalter (ARTIKEL 1) einsetzen (mit
der flachen Fläche an der Unterseite der Halterung – siehe ZEICHNUNG 1.

13. Die Originalblinker am Kennzeichenhalter (ARTIKEL 1) anbringen und die Kabel für die Blinker
und die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung wie ursprünglich verlegen. Bevor Sie die Kabel durch die
Kabelbinder-Lasche & Gummistopfen führen, den Schrumpfschlauch (ARTIKEL 16) an allen
Kabeln anbringen, um sie zusammenzuhalten.
14. Nachdem der Schrumpfschlauch angebracht wurde, die Kabel durch die Öffnung dann durch den
Gummistopfen schieben und mit einem Kabelbinder in Position fixieren – siehe Zeichnung 2.
KENNZEICHENHALTER - MONTAGE:
15. Jetzt kann die Einheit am Motorrad montiert werden. Hierzu benötigen Sie 4x (ARTIKEL 8) &
(ARTIKEL 11) sowie die Distanzplatte (ARTIKEL 3). Nehmen Sie ZEICHNUNG 1 als Referenz
für die Montage der Teile.
BITTE VOR DER MONTAGE JEWEILS 1x UNTERLEGSCHEIBE (ARTIKEL 11) AN ALLEN SCHRAUBEN
(ARTIKEL 8) ANBRINGEN.
16. Danach jede Schraube festziehen und dabei darauf achten, dass Sie sie nicht verkanten. Wenn
Sie festgezogen sind, den Freiraum zwischen der unteren Abdeckung und dem Kennzeichenhalter
prüfen. Falls nicht ausreichend Freiraum vorhanden ist, den Kennzeichenhalter entfernen und den
selbstklebenden Schaumstoff benutzen (der kann an der oberen Seite des Halters angebracht
werden.
17. Die Verbindungen am original Kabelbaum anschließen und die Funktion der Blinker prüfen. Die
Originalblinker haben kleine Schrauben unter den Lichtscheiben, die unten am Blinker positioniert
sein sollen.
ÜBERPRÜFEN SIE, DASS DIE BLINKER RICHTIG ANGESCHLOSSEN SIND.
18. Anschließend alle zuvor entfernte Originalteile (außer Kennzeichenhalter) wieder anbauen. Im
Lieferumfang ist auch ein Rückstrahler enthalten, falls ein neues Kennzeichen benötigt wird).
WICHTIG: WENN EIN GROSSES KENNZEICHEN ZU WEIT NACH UNTEN MONTIERT WIRD,
BESTEHT BEI SCHWERER LAST ODER DURCH GROSSE BODENWELLEN EIN GERINGES RISIKO,
DASS DAS KENNZEICHEN AN DAS HINTERRAD STOSSEN KANN. ES LIEGT IN IHRER
VERANTWORTUNG DIES ZU ÜBERPRÜFEN UND, WENN NOTWENDIG, VORBEUGENDE
MASSNAHMEN ZU ERGREIFEN. DIE NICHTBEACHTUNG DIESES SICHERHEITSHINWEISES
KANN ZU SCHWEREN VERLETZUNGEN FÜHREN.
