FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•To fit the R&G tail tidy, lift the seat using the key and release button.
•Remove the two plastic covers on the handrail on the left side of the bike, as arrowed in picture
1, and remove the two bolts underneath. Remove the handrail from the bike.
•Remove the rubber panel adjoining the rear panels to gain access to the bolts underneath, as
shown in picture 2.
•Using a 5mm hex key, remove the bolts from the LHS side mid-fairing panel as shown in
pictures 3 & 4.
•Gently pull the panel away from the bike to disengage the locating pins from the rubber
grommet mounts and remove the panel as shown in picture 5.
•Using a cross head screwdriver, remove the two screws shown in pictures 6 & 7.
•Now remove the 4 push pins from inside of the luggage area by depressing the centre pin and
removing the plastic expander as shown in picture 8.
•Remove 2 more push pins from the underside of the panel hidden beneath the fairing as shown
in picture 9.
•Ensure all retaining clips and fasteners are removed and remove this panel carefully, noting the
plastic tab at the rear of the panel which should be released from the adjacent bodywork, this
will reveal the wiring for the OEM tail unit as shown in picture 10.
•Disconnect the 4 connectors shown in picture 11 and cut any cable ties securing the tail unit
wiring to the bike.
•While supporting the tail unit Remove the 4 x hex bolts in the underside of the OEM tail unit as
shown in picture 12.
•Remove the OEM tail unit from the bike ensuring to pass the wiring through the opening in the
LHS of the bike and remove completely.
If fitting OEM Indicators
•Start off by removing the OEM indicators from the OEM licence plate hanger. Remove the
electrical tape as shown in picture 13 to separate the wires.
•For each indicator:
oRemove the plastic piece from the rubber mount of the indicator. As shown in picture 14.
With this removed, remove the fastening screw from the indicator as shown in picture
15.
oPull the rubber mount of the plastic hole and the plastic locator and feed the indicator
and wiring clear of the OEM licence plate hanger as shown in picture 16.
oFit each indicator to the R&G indicator bracket by feeding the indicator wiring through
the large hole on the licence plate bracket and locate the rubber with the hole, before
refitting the plastic plate to secure in place, as shown in picture 17.
oLocate one of the OEM indicator adaptors (item 6 –I0037) over the runner mount of the
OEM indicator to properly fix the indicator in place as shown in picture 18.
If fitting Mini Indicators
(Please note during this process the OEM indicators will need to be cut to retain the original
connectors.)
•To fit the R&G Mini Indicators, fit one length of heat-shrink to the wires of each indicator.
•Feed the wiring of either indicator through the hole in one of the mini indicator adaptors (item
5 –I0016), ensuring the raised boss on the adaptors face away from the indicator.

•Feed the indicator wiring through the hole on the licence plate bracket, positioning the raised
boss on the adaptor within the hole, before positioning a second mini indicator adaptor (item 5
–I0016) (with the boss facing toward the indicator) over the wiring and into the hole on the
bracket, before fitting the indicator nut over the wiring and tighten onto the threaded stalk of
the indicator, as shown in picture 19.
•Fit the other indicator the same way in the remaining indicator mount.
•Take one indicator wiring cover (item 7 –IWC0002) and thread this over the exposed wire
(some liquid soap or lubricant may help with this) and slide down the wire to cover the exposed
thread of the indicator.
•Cut the original indicator connectors from the OEM indicators leaving enough wire to attach the
CON0004 (item 8) to resemble the picture below. Attach this to the bullet connectors of the
Mini indicators.

•Feed the wires of the new R&G licence plate illuminator (item 2) through the central hole in the
new licence plate bracket (item 1).
•Secure using the washers and nuts supplied as shown in picture 19.
•Fit one length of heat-shrink (item 9) to the wires and heat gently to shrink to fit.
•Fit the light shroud and use a small amount of adhesive to hold it in position as shown in the
Assembly diagram, this will help direct the light correctly.
•With the indicators securely fitted, neatly route the wiring with the licence plate illuminator
wiring using the cable ties and cable clips supplied.
•Take the tail tidy assembly and offer it up underneath the tail whilst feeding the three sets of
wires up through the small hole where the OEM wiring exited from, as shown in picture 20.
•Take the four M6 x 16mm long button head bolts (item 3) and four M6 washers (item 4) and
fit through the four mounting holes of the tail tidy before tightening into the threaded bosses on
the subframe, as shown in picture 21.
•Remove the original bullet connectors from the OEM licence plate light leaving enough wire to
attach the CON0004 bullet connectors (item 8) to make adapters for the new light (item 2)
•Connect the licence plate illuminator wiring to the OEM connectors using the bullet connectors
already fitted.
•If using the original indicators, reconnect the connectors to those on the main loom. Ensuring
the indicators connect to the corresponding side.
•If fitting Mini Indicators, use the connector adapters assembled earlier and connect the
indicators to the original loom, ensuring the indicators connect to the corresponding side.
•Check for the correct operation of all lights, if illumination fails on any light, re-connect the
bullet connectors the other way around.
•Ensure the wiring is all neatly routed behind the panel using the cable ties (item 10) and self-
adhesive cable clips (item 11).
•Re-fit the bodywork and the hand-rails in a reverse procedure of how they were removed.
•Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling).
•Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector (item 12) in an appropriate location.
•Test the licence plate illuminator and all lights before riding.
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON
THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE
HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE
ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE
AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.

the Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality and suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the
Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has
been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return
of any defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products
have been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or
if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal
injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the
Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were purchased
direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the
opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at
time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Pour installer le support arrière R&G, soulevez le siège à l'aide de la clé et du bouton de
déverrouillage.
•Retirez les deux couvercles en plastique de la main courante du côté gauche de la moto, comme
indiqué sur la flèche sur la photo 1, et retirez les deux boulons en dessous. Retirez la main
courante de la moto.
•Retirez le panneau en caoutchouc attenant aux panneaux arrière pour accéder aux boulons en
dessous, comme illustré sur la photo 2.
•À l'aide d'une clé hexagonale de 5 mm, retirez les boulons du panneau central côté gauche du
carénage comme indiqué sur les photos 3 et 4.
•Tirez doucement le panneau de la moto pour dégager les goupilles de positionnement des
supports de passe-fils en caoutchouc et retirez le panneau comme indiqué sur la photo 5.
•À l'aide d'un tournevis cruciforme, retirez les deux vis illustrées sur les photos 6 et 7.
•Retirez maintenant les 4 onglets de l'intérieur de la zone des bagages en appuyant sur la broche
centrale et en retirant l'expanseur en plastique comme indiqué sur la photo 8
•Retirez 2 autres onglets de la face inférieure du panneau cachée sous le carénage comme
indiqué sur la photo 9.
•Assurez-vous que tous les clips et les attaches soient retirées et retirez ce panneau avec
précaution, en notant la languette en plastique à l'arrière du panneau qui doit être libérée de la
carrosserie adjacente, cela révélera le câblage de l'unité arrière d’origine comme indiqué sur la
photo 10.
•Débranchez les 4 connecteurs illustrés sur la photo 11 et coupez les attaches de câble fixant le
câblage de l'unité arrière de la moto.
•Tout en soutenant le bloc arrière, retirez les 4 boulons hexagonaux sous le bloc arrière d’origine
comme indiqué sur la photo 12.
•Retirez le bloc arrière d’origine de la moto en veillant à faire passer le câblage à travers
l'ouverture dans la gauche de la moto et retirez-le complètement.
Si vous montez les clignotants d’origine
•Commencez par retirer les clignotants d’origine du support de plaque d'immatriculation
d’origine. Retirez le ruban électrique comme indiqué sur la photo 13 pour séparer les fils.
•Pour chaque clignotant:
oRetirez la pièce en plastique du support en caoutchouc de clignotant. Comme indiqué sur
la photo 14. Une fois celle-ci retirée, retirez la vis de fixation du clignotant comme
indiqué sur la photo 15.
oo Tirez sur le support en caoutchouc du trou en plastique et sur l’onglet en plastique et
faites sortir le clignotant et le câblage du support de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine,
comme indiqué sur la photo 16
oMontez chaque clignotant sur le support clignotant R&G en faisant passer le câblage de
clignotant à travers le grand trou du support de plaque d'immatriculation et placez le
caoutchouc avec le trou, avant de remonter la plaque en plastique pour le fixer en place,
comme indiqué sur la photo 17.
oLocalisez l'un des adaptateurs de clignotant d’origine (article 6 - I0037) sur le support de
glissière de clignotant d’origine pour fixer correctement le clignotant en place comme
indiqué sur la photo 18.

oRetirez la pièce en plastique du support en caoutchouc de clignotant. Comme indiqué sur
la photo 14. Une fois celle-ci retirée, retirez la vis de fixation de clignotant comme
indiqué sur la photo 15.
oTirez sur le support en caoutchouc du trou en plastique et sur l’onglet en plastique et
faites sortir le clignotant et le câblage du support de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine,
comme indiqué sur la photo 16.
oMontez chaque clignotant sur le support clignotant R&G en faisant passer le câblage de
clignotant à travers le grand trou sur le support de plaque d'immatriculation et localisez
le caoutchouc avec le trou, avant de remonter la plaque en plastique pour le fixer en
place, comme indiqué sur la photo 17.
oLocalisez l'un des adaptateurs de clignotant d’origine (article 6 - I0037) sur le support de
glissière de clignotant d’origine pour fixer correctement le clignotant en place comme
indiqué sur la photo 18.
Si vous installez des mini-clignotants
(Veuillez noter que pendant ce processus, les clignotants d’origine devront être coupés pour
conserver les connecteurs d'origine.)
•Pour installer les mini clignotants R&G, installez une longueur de thermorétractable sur les fils
de chaque clignotant.
•Faites passer le câblage de de l’un ou l’autre clignotant à travers le trou de l'un des mini
adaptateurs de clignotant (article 5 - I0016), en veillant à ce que le bossage surélevé sur les
adaptateurs ne soit pas face au clignotant.
•Faites passer le câblage de clignotant à travers le trou du support de plaque d'immatriculation,
en positionnant le bossage surélevé sur l'adaptateur dans le trou, avant de positionner un
deuxième adaptateur mini-clignotant (article 5 - I0016) (avec le bossage tourné vers le
clignotant) sur le câblage et dans le trou sur le support, avant de monter l'écrou de clignotant
sur le câblage et de le serrer sur la tige filetée de clignotant, comme indiqué sur la photo 19.
•Montez l'autre clignotant de la même manière dans le support clignotant restant.
•Prenez un couvercle de câblage de clignotant (article 7 - IWC0002) et enfilez-le sur le fil exposé
(du savon liquide ou du lubrifiant peut vous aider) et faites glisser le fil pour couvrir le filetage
exposé de clignotant.
•Coupez les connecteurs de clignotant d'origine des clignotants d’origine en laissant
suffisamment de fil pour attacher le CON0004 (article 8) pour ressembler à la photo ci-dessous.
Attachez-le aux connecteurs des mini clignotants.

Suite:
•Faites passer les fils du nouvel éclairage de plaque d'immatriculation R&G (article 2) à travers le
trou central du nouveau support de plaque d'immatriculation (article 1).
•Fixez à l'aide des rondelles et des écrous fournis comme indiqué sur la photo 19.
•Montez une longueur de thermorétractable (article 9) sur les fils et chauffez doucement pour la
rétreindre.
•Montez la protection feu et utilisez une petite quantité d'adhésif pour la maintenir en position
comme indiqué sur le schéma d'assemblage, cela aidera à diriger la lumière correctement.
•Avec les clignotants correctement montés, acheminez proprement le câblage avec le câblage de
feu de plaque d'immatriculation à l'aide des colliers de serrage et clips câble fournis.
•Prenez l'ensemble du support de plaque et placez-le sous le supporttout en faisant passer les
trois jeux de fils à travers le petit trou d'où sortait le câblage d’origine, comme indiqué sur la
photo 20.
•Prenez les quatre boulons à tête ronde M6 x 16 mm de long (article 3) et quatre rondelles M6
(article 4) et insérez-les dans les quatre trous de montage du support arrière avant de les
serrer dans les bossages filetés du sous-châssis, comme indiqué sur la photo 21.
•Retirez les connecteurs d'origine de l'éclairage de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine en laissant
suffisamment de fil pour attacher les connecteurs CON0004 (article 8) afin de fabriquer des
adaptateurs pour la nouvelle lumière (article 2).
•Connectez le câblage de l'éclairage de plaque d'immatriculation aux connecteurs d’origine en
utilisant les connecteurs déjà installés.
•Si vous utilisez les clignotants d'origine, reconnectez les connecteurs à ceux du métier à tisser
principal. S'assurer que les clignotants se connectent du côté correspondant.
•Si vous installez des mini-clignotants, utilisez les adaptateurs de connecteur assemblés
précédemment et connectez les clignotants au métier d'origine, en vous assurant que les
clignotants se connectent du côté correspondant.
•Vérifiez le bon fonctionnement de tous les feux, si l'éclairage échoue sur un feu, rebranchez les
connecteurs dans l'autre sens.
•Assurez-vous que le câblage soit correctement acheminé derrière le panneau à l'aide des
colliers de serrage (article 10) et des clips câble autocollants (article 11).
•Remontez le carénage et les mains courantes en inversant la procédure de dépose.
•Remontez la plaque d'immatriculation (cela peut nécessiter un perçage).
•En fonction des lois locales, fixez le réflecteur fourni (article 12) dans un endroit approprié.
•Testez le feu de plaque d'immatriculation et tous les feux avant de rouler
•IMPORTANT : SI VOUS POSEZ UNE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION DE GRANDE TAILLE

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Um den R&G Kennzeichenhalter montieren zu können, zuerst den Sitz hochklappen mit Hilfe des
Schlüssels und Auslöseknopfs.
•Entfernen Sie die zwei Kunststoffabdeckungen am Haltegriff an der linken Seite des Motorrads
wie in Abbildung 1 gekennzeichnet, und entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben an der Unterseite.
Entfernen Sie den Haltegriff vom Motorrad.
•Entfernen Sie das Kunststoffteil, welches die hinteren Verkleidungssteile verbindet, um Zugang
zu den Schrauben darunter zu ermöglichen –siehe Abbildung 2.
•Mittels eines 5mm Inbusschlüssels, entfernen Sie die Schrauben von den mittleren
Verkleidungsteilen wie in den Abbildungen 3 & 4 abgebildet.
•Das Verkleidungsteil vorsichtig vom Motorrad wegziehen, um die Fixierungsstifte von den
Gummitüllen-Halterungen zu lösen und entfernen Sie das Verkleidungsteil wie in Abbildung 5
abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben mit einem Kreuzschlitzschraubenzieher wie in den
Abbildungen 6 & 7 abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie jetzt die 4 Pins an der Innenseite des Gepäckfachs, indem Sie den mittleren Pin
herunterdrücken und den Kunststoff-Expander entfernen wie in Abbildung 8 abgebildet.
•Entfernen zwei 2 weitere Pins an der Unterseite des Verkleidungsteils, die unter der Verkleidung
versteckt sind –siehe Abbildung 9.
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Halteklammer und Klemmen entfernt sind und entfernen Sie
vorsichtig das Verkleidungsteil. Die Kunststofflasche hinten am Verkleidungsteil sollte von der
anliegenden Verkleidung gelöst werden, um die Verkabelung des original Heckteils freizulegen -
siehe Abbildung 10.
•Trennen Sie die 4 Verbinder, die in Abbildung 11 abgebildet sind und die Kabelbinder, die die
Kabel am Motorrad befestigen durchtrennen.
•Während Sie den Kennzeichenhalter stützen, entfernen Sie die 4 Sechskantschrauben an der
Unterseite des original Kennzeichenhalters wie in Abbildung 12 abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie den original Kennzeichenhalter vom Motorrad, die Kabel hierbei durch die Öffnung
an der linken Seite des Motorrades führen, und komplett entfernen.
Wenn Sie die Originalblinker montieren
•Fangen Sie an, indem Sie die Originalblinker vom original Kennzeichenhalter entfernen.
Entfernen Sie das Isolierband wie in Abbildung 13 abgebildet, um die Kabel zu trennen.
•Bei beiden Blinkern:
oEntfernen Sie das Kunststoffteil von der Gummihalterung des Blinkers wie in Abbildung
14 abgebildet. Sobald dies entfernt ist, entfernen Sie die Befestigungsschraube wie in
Abbildung 15 abgebildet.
oDen Befestigungsgummi an der Kunststofföffnung und den Kunststoffstift ziehen, und
den Blinker und die Kabel weg vom original Kennzeichenhalter führen wie Abbildung 16
abgebildet.
oMontieren Sie beide Blinker an der R&G Blinker-Halterung, indem Sie die Kabel der
Blinker durch die große Öffnung am Kennzeichenhalter führen und den Gummi mit der
Öffnung fixieren bevor Sie die Kunststoffplatte wieder montieren, um alles in Position zu
befestigen wie in Abbildung 17 abgebildet.
oEinen Originalblinker-Adapter (Artikel 6 –I0037) an der Halterung des Originalblinkers
anbringen, um den Blinker ordentlich in Position zu befestigen wie in Abbildung 18
abgebildet.
Wenn Sie Miniblinker montieren
(Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Originalblinker während des Vorgangs abgeschnitten werden
müssen, um die Originalverbindungen zu behalten.)
•Montieren sie jeweils eine Länge Schrumpfschlauch an den Kabeln der zwei Blinker.
