This kit contains the items pictured and labelled over page.
Some parts may be shown for clarity of instructions only.
Do not proceed until you are sure all parts are present.
Please read all instructions before proceeding.

Please note that the way the kit is packed does not necessarily represent the way of
mounting to the bike.
In the event of rubber washers being used to hold components onto bolts,
these rubber washers can be thrown away.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•To fit the R&G tail tidy, remove the pillion seat with the key.
•Remove the relay from the carrier by gently sliding towards the rear of the bike, as shown in
Picture 1.
•Remove the rubber cover as shown in Picture 2.
•Open the wiring shroud and disconnect the 3 connections shown in picture 12 and detailed
below:
WHITE/CLEAR 2-PIN CONNECTOR = NUMBER PLATE ILLUMINATOR
BLACK 3-PIN CONNECTOR = LEFT-HAND SIDE INDICATOR
GREY 3-PIN CONNECTOR = RIGHT-HAND SIDE INDICATOR
•Using a 10mm socket, remove the 4x nuts securing the OEM tail tidy, as shown in Picture 3,
and carefully lower the OEM tail tidy while feeding the wiring through the hole in the subframe.
•Remove the two bolts on the underside and the two bolts at the rear of the OEM tail tidy to
remove the plastic cover, exposing the wires, as shown in Picture 4.
•Remove the indicator spreading plates by unclipping from either side of the indicator rubber
seal and gently squeeze the indicator stems to remove the indicators.
•Fit the original indicators to the new licence plate bracket (item 1)using the indicator adaptors
(item 3) in position shown in Picture 5so it fits in the groove in the stem and between the
indicator and the bracket.
•Fit the R&G license plate illuminator (item 5) to the assembly, as shown in Picture 6. Use a
small amount of superglue to stick the light shroud in position. Fit the heatshrink (item 11) to
the wires and tighten the nuts on the rear.
•Feed all wiring through the access hole on the tail tidy and secure wiring to bracket using the
provided cable ties (item 10) fed through corresponding holes in the bracket, as shown in
Picture 7.
•Offer up the new rubber grommet (item 2) to the underside of the tail tidy mounting location,
aligning the 4 holes in the gromet with the 4 mounting holes and squeeze the edges of the

gasket between the metal of the subframe and the plastic undertray in order to fill the gap, (as
shown in Picture 7).
•Feed the indicator and number plate illuminator wiring through the cut-out on the rubber
gromet, then position one M6 x 15mm long button head bolt (item 6) with one M6 washer
fitted (item 8) through each of the 4 holes on the mounting plate of the tail tidy.
•This can now be positioned in the opening on the underside of the tail, before locating each of
the 4 bolts with the corresponding holes on the rubber grommet and mounting holes on the
subframe.
•Fit a washer (item 8) and loosely fitting one of the provided nyloc nuts (item 7) to the
exposed end of each bolt.
•Ensure the tail tidy is located correctly before tightening the 4 bolts, using a 10mm socket or
spanner to hold the nut from above whilst tightening with a 4mm Allen key from the underside.
•To connect the OEM indicators, simply re-fit the matching connectors together.
•To connect the license plate illuminator, fit the wiring connector (item 4) to the corresponding
bullet connectors of the illuminator (BLACK – BLACK, RED – RED) and re-fit to the
corresponding female 2-pin connector within the shroud opened earlier.
•Ensure the tail tidy is securely mounted and all bolts are fully tightened.
•Re-fit the rubber cover, relay & pillion seat.
•Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling). Depending on local laws, attach enclosed
reflector in an appropriate location. Test the license plate illuminator and all lights before riding.
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON
THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE
HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE
ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE
AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.

and suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable
skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products
R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have
been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good
engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting
its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability
shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if
they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods
must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25%
of the gross value exc. P&P – at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges.
No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does
not refer to faulty goods.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Entfernen Sie zuerst den Beifahrersitz (Sie benötigen hierfür den Schlüssel).
•Entfernen Sie das Relais vom Träger, indem Sie es vorsichtig nach hinten schieben (Richtung
Heck) wie in Abbildung 1 abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie die Gummi-Abdeckung, wie in Abbildung 2 abgebildet.
•Öffnen Sie die Kabelabdeckung und trennen Sie die 3 Verbinder, die in Abbildung 12 abgebildet
und unten detailliert beschrieben sind:

SCHWARZ 3-PIN VERBINDER = BLINKER LINKE SEITE
GRAU 3-PIN VERBINDER = BLINKER RECHTE SEITE
•Mit einem 10mm Steckschlüssel die 4 Muttern entfernen, die den original Kennzeichenhalter
befestigen wie in Abbildung 3 abgebildet und den original Kennzeichenhalter vorsichtig
herabsetzen und gleichzeitig die Kabel durch die Öffnung im Hilfsrahmen führen.
•Entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben an der Unterseite und die Schrauben hinten am original
Kennzeichenhalter, um die Kunststoffabdeckung zu entfernen und die Kabel zugänglich zu
machen wie in Abbildung 4 abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie die Distanzplatte für die Blinker, indem Sie sie an beiden Seiten der
Gummidichtung lösen und den Stiel vorsichtig zusammendrücken, um die Blinker zu entfernen.
•Montieren Sie die Originalblinker am neuen Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1) mit den Adaptern für
die Blinker (Artikel 3) wie in Abbildung 5 abgebildet, sodass sie in der Rille im Stiel zwischen
dem Blinker und der Halterung sind.
•Montieren Sie die R&G Kennzeichenbeleuchtung (Artikel 5) wie in Abbildung 6 abgebildet.
Mit einer kleinen Menge Sekundenkleber die Lichtabdeckung in Position fixieren. Den
Schrumpfschlauch (Artikel 11) an den Kabeln anbringen und die Muttern hinten festziehen.
•Schieben Sie alle Kabel durch das Zugangsloch im Kennzeichenhalter und die Kabel mit den
mitgelieferten Kabelbindern (Artikel 10) fixieren – siehe Abbildung 7.
•Den neuen Gummistopfen (Artikel 2) an die Unterseite der Montageposition für den
Kennzeichenhalter ansetzen und die 4 Öffnungen in der Tülle mit den 4 Montageöffnungen

ausrichten. Die Ecken der Dichtung zwischen dem Metall des Hilfsrahmens und der unteren
Abdeckung aus Kunststoff, um die Lücke zu füllen (wie in Abbildung 7 abgebildet).
•Schieben Sie die Verkabelung für die Blinker und Kennzeichenbeleuchtung durch den Ausschnitt
im Gummistopfen, dann jeweils eine M6 x 15mm Inbusschraube (Artikel 6) ausgerüstet mit
einer M6 Unterlegscheibe (Artikel 8) durch jede der 4 Öffnungen auf der Montageplatte am
Kennzeichenhalter.
•Dies kann nun an der Öffnung an der Unterseite am Heck positioniert werden, bevor Sie die 4
Schrauben in die entsprechenden Öffnungen am Gummistopfen und Montageöffnungen am
Hilfsrahmen einsetzen.
•Montieren Sie eine Unterlegscheibe (Artikel 8) und eine selbstsichernde Mutter vom Kit
(Artikel 7) am hervorstehenden Ende jeder Schraube.
•Überprüfen Sie, dass der Kennzeichenhalter ordnungsgemäß positioniert ist, bevor Sie die 4
Schrauben befestigen – die Mutter von oben mit einem 10mm Steckschlüssel oder
Schraubenschlüssel festhalten und mit einem 4mm Inbusschlüssel an der Unterseite festziehen.
•Um die Originalblinker zu verbinden, einfach die passenden Verbinder zusammenverbinden.
•Um die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung zu verbinden, verbinden Sie die Kabelverbinder (Artikel 4)
mit den passenden Verbindern an der Beleuchtung (SCHWARZ – SCHWARZ, ROT – ROT) und
montieren Sie den entsprechenden 2-Pin Verbinder an der zuvor geöffneten Abdeckung.
•Überprüfen Sie, dass der Kennzeichenhalter sicher montiert ist und alle Schrauben festgezogen
sind.
•Montieren Sie die Gummiabdeckung, das Relais und den Beifahrersitz wie ursprünglich wieder.
•Montieren Sie das amtliche Kennzeichen (Bohrungen im Kennzeichen evtl. notwendig).
Entsprechend der gesetzlichen Vorschriften, den mitgelieferten Rückstrahler an die dafür
vorgesehene Stelle anbringen. Überprüfen Sie die Funktion der kompletten Beleuchtung (Blinker
und Kennzeichenhalter) vor Gebrauch des Fahrzeuges

LIEGT IN IHRER VERANTWORTUNG DIES ZU ÜBERPRÜFEN UND, WENN NOTWENDIG,

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Pour monter le support R&G, retirez la selle passager à l'aide de la clé.
•Retirez le relais du support en le faisant glisser doucement vers l'arrière de la moto, comme
indiqué sur la Photo 1.
•Retirez le couvercle en caoutchouc comme indiqué sur la photo 2.
•Ouvrir le carénage et débrancher les 3 connexions montrées sur la photo 12 et détaillées ci-
dessous :

CONNECTEUR NOIR 3 BROCHES = CLIGNOTANT GAUCHE
CONNECTEUR GRIS 3 BROCHES. = CLIGNOTANT DROIT
•À l'aide d'une douille de 10 mm, retirez les 4 écrous fixant le support arrière d’origine, comme
indiqué sur la photo 3, et abaissez soigneusement le support arrière d’origine tout en faisant
passer le câblage à travers le trou du sous-châssis.
•Retirez les deux boulons sur la face inférieure et les deux boulons à l'arrière du support arrière
d’origine pour retirer le couvercle en plastique, exposant ainsi les fils, comme indiqué sur la
photo 4.
•Retirez les plaques d'écartement des clignotants en déclipsant de part et d'autre le joint en
caoutchouc des clignotants et appuyez doucement sur les tiges des clignotants pour retirer les
clignotants.
•Monter les clignotants d'origine sur le nouveau support de plaque d'immatriculation (article 1) à
l'aide des adaptateurs de clignotants (article 3) dans la position indiquée sur la Photo 5 afin
qu'ils s'insèrent dans la rainure de la potence et entre le clignotant et le support.
•Montez l'éclairage de plaque d'immatriculation R&G (article 5) sur l'ensemble, comme indiqué
sur la Photo 6. Utilisez une petite quantité de superglue pour coller le carénage lumineux en
position. Monter la thermo rétractable (article 11) sur les fils et serrer les écrous à l'arrière.
•Faites passer tout le câblage à travers le trou d'accès sur le support arrière et fixez le câblage
au support à l'aide des attaches de câble fournies (article 10) passées à travers les trous
correspondants du support, comme indiqué sur la Photo 7.

•Présentez le nouveau passe-fil en caoutchouc (article 2) sous l'emplacement de montage du
support de queue, en alignant les 4 trous du passe-fil avec les 4 trous de montage et serrez les
bords du joint entre le métal du sous-châssis et le sous-plateau en plastique afin de combler le
vide (comme le montre la photo 7).
•Faire passer le câblage des clignotants et de l'éclairage de plaque d'immatriculation à travers la
découpe du passe-fil en caoutchouc, puis positionner un boulon à tête ronde M6 x 15 mm de
long (article 6) avec une rondelle M6 montée (article 8) dans chacun des 4 trous du plaque de
montage du range-queue.
•Celui-ci peut maintenant être positionné dans l'ouverture sous la queue, avant de localiser
chacun des 4 boulons avec les trous correspondants sur le passe-fil en caoutchouc et les trous
de montage sur le faux-châssis.
•Montez une rondelle (article 8) et installez sans serrer l'un des écrous nyloc fournis (article 7)
sur l'extrémité exposée de chaque boulon.
•Assurez-vous que le support de queue soit correctement positionné avant de serrer les 4
boulons, à l'aide d'une douille ou d'une clé de 10 mm pour maintenir l'écrou par le haut tout en
serrant avec une clé Allen de 4 mm par le dessous.
•Pour connecter les clignotants d’origine, réinstallez simplement les connecteurs correspondants
ensemble.
•Pour connecter l'éclairage de plaque d'immatriculation, emboîter le connecteur de câblage
(article 4) sur les connecteurs correspondant de l'éclairage (NOIR – NOIR, ROUGE – ROUGE) et
remettre en place le connecteur femelle à 2 broches correspondant à l'intérieur du carénage
ouvert précédemment.
•Assurez-vous que le support de queue soit solidement monté et que tous les boulons soient
complètement serrés.
•Reposer le cache caoutchouc, le relais et la selle passager.
•Reposez la plaque d'immatriculation (cela peut nécessiter un perçage).
En fonction des lois locales, fixez le réflecteur fourni à un endroit approprié. Testez l'éclairage
de la plaque d'immatriculation et tous les feux avant de rouler.
•IMPORTANT : SI VOUS MONTEZ UNE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION DE GRANDE
TAILLE ET LA PLACEZ BIEN EN BAS SUR LE SUPPORT DE PLAQUE
D'IMMATRICULATION, IL Y A UN RISQUE QUE LA PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION
FRAPPE LA ROUE ARRIÈRE SOUS UNE CHARGE LOURDE ET SUR DE GROSSES BOSSES
SUR LA ROUTE. IL EST DE VOTRE RESPONSABILITÉ DE VÉRIFIER CETTE POSSIBILITÉ
ET DE PRENDRE DES MESURES POUR ÉVITER. NE PAS VÉRIFIER CELA POURRAIT
ENTRAÎNER DES BLESSURES GRAVES.
