FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
• Remove the seat using key as shown in picture 1.
• Remove the four bolts arrowed in picture 2 and carefully remove the luggage mounting
frame if fitted.
• Remove the tool carrier as shown in picture 3.
• Remove the two bolts arrowed in picture 4 and carefully unclip the coloured seat panel
as shown in picture 5 (you do not need to disconnect the seat catch mechanism leave
the panel resting on the frame ensuring it is not damaged).
• Remove the two bolts arrowed in picture 6 and carefully unclip and remove the black
plastic seat panel.
• Remove the two bolts arrowed in picture 7 and carefully unclip and remove the coloured
seat panel.
• Remove the two bolts arrowed in picture 8 and carefully unclip and remove the black
plastic seat panel.
• Remove all the bolts arrowed in pictures 9 thru 14, then remove the grab rail.
• Remove the licence plate bracket top cover as shown in picture 15.
• Remove the cable ties and disconnect the indicator wiring plug sockets arrowed in
pictures 15 and 16.
• Disconnect the two wiring plug sockets arrowed in pictures 17 and 18.
• Remove the wiring plug socket holder arrowed in picture 19 from the original licence
plate bracket.
• Remove the bolt arrowed in picture 20, then rotate and remove both the original
indicators if fitting to the new licence plate bracket.
• Place all the original wiring into the under-seat space.
• Fit the new rear light (item 4) to the licence plate bracket (item 2) as shown in picture
21 (please ensure the licence plate illuminating led’s face downwards).
To fit the original indicators
•Offer into position and secure using the original nut and bolt as shown in picture 22
To fit the R&G indicators of choice (R&G mini indicator product code RG370 for bulb type
And RG371 for LED type or RG372 for Aero Style led type)

• Feed the new indicator wiring through the hole in one of the indicator adaptor plates
(item 16) as shown in picture 23 and offer up to the indicator aperture in the licence
plate bracket (item 2) as shown in the pictures below (so the shaped location spigot
will fit into the aperture).
• Fit the indicator nut and tighten as shown in picture above.
•Feed the indicator wiring through one of the nut/wire covers (item 19) as shown in pictures
below (it helps if a small amount of liquid detergent is used) and position the nut cover over
the nut.
•Fit one length of heat-shrink (item 20) over the wires of each indicator so the heat-shrink fits
over the stem of the nut/wire cover and gently heat until the heat-shrink contracts to the
wiring and nut/wire cover as shown in pictures below.
•Fit the rubber wiring grommet (item 15) into the licence plate bracket (item 2) as
arrowed in picture 24 and feed wiring for the new rear light and indicators through the
grommet.
•Fit the infill panel (item 3) to the licence plate bracket/cover (item 1) using the two M5
bolts (item 10) as shown in picture 25.
•Cut the edging seal (item 21) to shape and stick in position as shown in picture 26.
•Mount item 2 to item 1 using the bolts washers and nuts (items 6, 8 and 9) as shown
in pictures 27 and 28.
•Refit the grab rail and loosely tighten the original bolts to hold in position.
•Place the 35mm long M6 bolt with washer (items 5 and 9) through the assembly as
shown in picture 29, then place the 14mm long spacer (item 12) over the exposed
thread as shown in picture 30.
•Offer the whole assembly into position while feeding the wiring though to the under-seat
space and secure in place with a nut and washer (items 8 and 9) as shown in picture

31 (do not fully tighten at this stage).
•Reuse the original bolts to secure in position arrowed in pictures 32 and 33.
•Place one of 29mm long spacers (item 13) into position indicated in picture 34, then
place the longest M6 bolts (item 7) through the licence plate bracket and spacer and
into the grab rail as shown in picture 35 and secure in place using a nut and washer as
shown in picture 36.
•Repeat the above for the other mount.
•Tighten all bolts.
•The remainder of the rubber seal should be cut and stuck around the aperture for the
pannier mounting bracket as shown in picture 38.
•If not fitting the pannier mounting bracket, we have supplied a blanking spacer and bolt
(items 11 and 14) as shown in pictures 37 and 38.
•Reconnect the indicators to the original wiring plug socket using the supplied connector
(item 18) (it is a good idea to test the indicator at this stage if illumination fails, swap
the bullet connections around). If using R&G led indicators you will need to use a resistor
(R&G product code RGR0002, sold separately) to achieve the correct flash rate.
•To connect the rear light, we suggest cutting the original plug socket and use the
supplied bullet connectors to join to the wiring loom as explained below.
•Cut the original plug from the loom approximately 50mm from the plug socket and strip
the three wires on the loom end and fit the female bullet connectors with covers as
shown below.
•Connect the new rear light resistor (item 17) to the original wiring loom as shown below.

•Connect the new rear light resistor (item 17) to the new rear light (item 4) as shown
below.

It is a good idea at this stage to test all indicators and lights
•Tidy all the wiring and ensure none are trapped/cut when fitting the seat.
•Refit all panels as original.
•Please re-check the operation of indicators and lighting before riding the motorcycle.
•Refit the rider/pillion seats as original and licence plate (it may require drilling).
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON THE LICENCE PLATE
HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY
LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS
POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS
INJURY.
•Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector (item 23) in an appropriate location.

The catalogue description and any exhibition of samples are only broad indications of the Products and R&G may make design
changes which do not diminish their performance or visual appeal and supplying them in such state shall conform to the order.
The Buyer acknowledges no representation or warranty (other than as to title) has been given or will apply to the Products other
than those in R&G’s order or confirmation and the Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality
and suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable
skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products
R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have
been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good
engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting
its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability
shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if
they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods
must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the
gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No
returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does
not refer to faulty goods.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
• Retirez le siège à l'aide de la clé comme indiqué sur la photo 1.
• Retirez les quatre boulons fléchés sur la photo 2 et retirez soigneusement le cadre de
montage du bagage s'il est installé.
• Retirez le porte-outils comme indiqué sur la photo 3.
• Retirez les deux boulons fléchés sur la photo 4 et déclippez soigneusement le panneau de
siège coloré comme indiqué sur la photo 5 (vous n'avez pas besoin de déconnecter le
mécanisme de verrouillage du siège, laissez le panneau reposer sur le cadre en vous
assurant qu'il ne soit pas endommagé).
• Retirer les deux boulons fléchés sur la photo 6 et déclipser puis retirer soigneusement le
panneau de siège en plastique noir.
• Retirer les deux boulons fléchés sur la photo 7 et déclipser puis retirer soigneusement le
panneau de siège coloré.
• Retirer les deux boulons fléchés sur la photo 8 et déclipser puis retirer soigneusement le
panneau de siège en plastique noir.
• Retirez tous les boulons indiqués sur les photos 9 à 14, puis retirez la barre d'appui.
• Retirez le couvercle supérieur du support de plaque d'immatriculation comme indiqué sur
la photo 15.
• etirez les serre-câbles et débranchez les prises de câblage de clignotant indiqués par les
flèches sur les photos 15 et 16.
• Débranchez les deux prises de câblage indiquées par une flèche sur les photos 17 et 18.
• Retirez le support de prise de câblage indiqué sur la photo 19 du support de plaque
d'immatriculation d'origine.
• Retirez le boulon marqué d'une flèche sur la photo 20, puis faites pivoter et retirez les
deux clignotants d'origine s'ils sont montés sur le nouveau support de plaque
d'immatriculation.
• Placez tout le câblage d'origine dans l'espace sous le siège.
• Montez le nouveau feu arrière (article 4) sur le support de plaque d’immatriculation
(article 2) comme indiqué sur la photo 21 (veuillez vous assurer que le voyant d’éclairage
de la plaque d’immatriculation soit orienté vers le bas).
Pour monter les clignotants d’origine
•Montez les en place et fixez en utilisant l'écrou et le boulon d'origine comme indiqué sur
la photo 22.
Pour monter les clignotants R&G de votre choix (mini clignotant R&G code produit
RG370 pour type ampoule et RG371 pour type LED et RG372 pour type LED latérale)
• Faites passer le nouveau câblage de clignotant à travers le trou de l'une des plaques
d'adaptation de clignotant (article 16) comme indiqué sur la photo 23 et présentez
l’ouverture du clignotant dans le support de plaque d'immatriculation (article 2) comme
indiqué sur les photos ci-dessous (de sorte que le tourillon s'insère dans l'ouverture).

• Montez l'écrou de clignotant et serrez comme indiqué sur la photo ci-dessus.
•Faites passer le câblage de clignotant à travers l'un des couvercles d'écrou / fil (article 19)
comme indiqué sur les photos ci-dessous (cela aide si une petite quantité de détergent liquide
est utilisée) et positionnez le couvercle d'écrou sur l'écrou.
•Montez une longueur de thermorétractable (article 20) sur les fils de chaque clignotant de
sorte que la thermorétractable s'adapte sur la tige de l'écrou / couvercle de fil et chauffez
doucement jusqu'à ce que le thermorétractable se contracte sur le câblage et le couvercle de
l'écrou / fil comme montré sur les photos ci-dessous.
•Montez le passe-fils en caoutchouc (article 15) dans le support de plaque
d'immatriculation (article 2) comme fléché sur la photo 24 et faites passer le câblage du
nouveau feu arrière et des clignotants à travers l’oeillet
•Montez le panneau de remplissage (article 3) sur le support / couvercle de plaque
d'immatriculation (article 1) à l'aide des deux boulons M5 (article 10) comme indiqué sur
la photo 25.
•Coupez le joint de bordure (article 21) pour le mettre en place et le collez le comme
indiqué sur la photo 26.
•Montez l'article 2 sur l'article 1 en utilisant les boulons, les rondelles et les écrous
(articles 6, 8 et 9) comme indiqué sur les photos 27 et 28.
•Remontez la barre d'appui et serrez sans verrouiller les boulons d'origine pour la
maintenir en place.
Placez le boulon M6 de 35 mm de long avec rondelle (articles 5 et 9) à travers
l'assemblage comme indiqué sur la photo 29, puis placez l'entretoise de 14 mm de long

Présentez l'ensemble en place tout en alimentant le câblage dans l’espace sous-siège
puis fixer en place avec un écrou et une rondelle (articles 8 et 9) comme indiqué sur la

photo 31 (ne serrez pas complètement à ce stade).
•Réutilisez les boulons d'origine pour les fixer dans la position fléchée sur les photos 32 et
33.
•Placez une des entretoises de 29 mm de long (article 13) dans la position indiquée sur la
photo 34, puis placez les boulons M6 les plus longs (article 7) à travers le support de
plaque d'immatriculation et l'entretoise et dans la barre d'appui comme indiqué sur la
photo 35 et fixez-la à l'aide d'un écrou et d'une rondelle, voir la photo 36.
•Répétez le process ci-dessus pour l'autre support.
•Serrez tous les boulons.
Le reste du joint en caoutchouc doit être coupé et collé autour de l'ouverture du support
de montage de sacoche comme indiqué sur la photo 38.
•Si le support de montage de la sacoche n'est pas installé, nous avons fourni une
entretoise et un boulon d'obturation (articles 11 et 14) comme indiqué sur les photos 37
et 38
•Reconnectez les clignotants à la prise de câblage d'origine à l'aide du connecteur fourni
(article 18) (il est judicieux de tester le clignotant à ce stade, si l'éclairage échoue,
permuter les connecteurs). Si vous utilisez des clignotants LED R&G, vous devrez utiliser
une résistance (Code produit R&G RGR0002, vendu séparément) pour obtenir le niveau
d’éclairage correct.
•Pour connecter le feu arrière, nous vous suggérons de couper la prise d'origine et
d'utiliser les connecteurs fournis pour se joindre au faisceau de câbles comme expliqué ci-
dessous.
•Coupez la fiche d'origine du métier à tisser à environ 50 mm de la prise et de la bande
les trois fils à l'extrémité du métier à tisser et montez les connecteurs femelles avec des
couvercles comme indiqué ci-dessous.
•Connectez la nouvelle résistance de feu arrière (article 17) au faisceau de câbles d'origine
comme illustré ci-dessous.

A ce stade, il est judicieux de tester tous les clignotants et voyants.
•Rangez tout le câblage et assurez-vous qu'aucun ne soit coincé / coupé lors de l'installation du
siège.
•Remontez tous les panneaux comme d'origine.
•Veuillez revérifier le fonctionnement des clignotants et de l'éclairage avant de conduire la
moto.
•Remonter les selles pilote / passager comme d'origine et la plaque d'immatriculation (cela peut
nécessiter un perçage).
•IMPORTANT : SI VOUS POSEZ UNE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION DE GRANDE TAILLE PLEINE ET QUE VOUS
LA POSEZ VERS LE BAS DU SUPPORT DE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION, IL EXISTE UN RISQUE QUE LA
PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION TOUCHE LA ROUE ARRIÈRE SOUS L’EFFET D’UNE CHARGE LOURDE ET SUR
DES RALENTISSEURS ABRUPTES SUR LA ROUTE. IL EST DE VOTRE RESPONSABILITÉ DE VÉRIFIER CE
RISQUE ET DE PRENDRE DES MESURES NÉCESSAIRES POUR L’ÉVITER. LA NON-VÉRIFICATION DE CE POINT
POURRAIT ENTRAÎNER DES BLESSURES GRAVES.
•En fonction des lois locales, fixez le réflecteur fourni (article 23) à un endroit approprié
