FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•While supporting the OEM licence plate unit from below, remove the four bolts on the underside of
the tail unit at the rear of the bike arrowed in picture 1.
•Carefully lower the OEM licence plate unit away from the bike and disconnect the grey connector
shown in picture 2 and remove the unit from the bike.
•Remove the two torx bolts from the front section of the unit as shown in picture 3.
•On a clean surface place the OEM licence plate unit upside down so the underside bolts can be
accessed. Remove the four bolts shown in Picture 4using a T25 Torx tool.
•Remove the underside panel of the unit to expose the wiring as shown in picture 5.
•Disconnect the central licence plate light connector as arrowed in picture 6.
•To remove the OEM back plate assembly, remove the 3 bolts arrowed in picture 7.
•Remove the plate complete with licence plate light as shown in picture 8.

Tail tidy Assembly
•To assemble the R&G tail unit, refer to the assembly diagram on page 3.
•Use the heat shrink provided (item 6) to encase the wires of the LA0002 licence plate light, a little
soap may help thread the bullet connectors through. Heat the outer using a heat gun until the
shrink closes around the wire.
•Affix the LA0002 licence plate light (item 2) to the R&G end plate bracket (item 1) using the two
nuts provided. Affix the shroud over the light and use a small amount of glue to secure in place,
this piece will help direct the light pattern.
•Connect the CON14 licence plate connector (item 4) to the LA0002 wiring, ensuring to match black
to black wires.
•Thread the wires through the unit meet the OEM wiring loom and reconnect to the connector as
shown in picture 9.
•Mount the plate assembly to the OEM licence plate unit using the 3 countersunk bolts (item 3)
provided as shown in picture 10,thread the licence plate light wires into the slot below the
mounting and into the OEM licence plate unit, ensuring the wire remains in the slot and does not
get pinched.
•Tidy the wiring so the wires are neatly placed inside the OEM licence plate unit and reassemble the
tail unit as before as shown in picture 11, if necessary, use the cable ties provided (item 5) to
wrap the wire if too long.
•Re-fit the licence plate unit to the bike as shown in picture 12, ensuring to reconnect the grey
block connector to the main wiring loom.
•At this point, turn on the bike and check the R&G licence plate light illuminates as it should. If
illumination fails, swap the bullet connectors around.
•Ensure that all bolts re-fitted and secure.
•Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling).
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON
THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE
HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING
ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
•Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector (item 7) in an appropriate location.
•Test the license plate illuminator and all lights before riding.

maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect
arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and
personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid
by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they
were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in
re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value
exc. P&P – at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Tout en soutenant l'unité de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine par le bas, retirez les quatre
boulons sur le dessous de l'unité arrière de la moto, fléchés sur la photo 1.
•Abaissez soigneusement l'unité de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine de la moto et débranchez le
connecteur gris illustré sur la photo 2 et retirez l'unité de la moto.
•Retirez les deux boulons torx de la partie avant de l'appareil comme indiqué sur la photo 3.
•Sur une surface propre, placez l'unité de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine à l'envers afin que les
boulons inférieurs soient accessibles. Retirez les quatre boulons illustrés sur la photo 4 à l'aide d'un
outil Torx T25.
•Retirez le panneau inférieur de l'unité pour exposer le câblage comme indiqué sur la photo 5.
•Débrancher le connecteur central de l'éclairage de plaque comme fléché sur la photo 6.
•Pour retirer l'ensemble de plaque arrière d’origine, retirez les 3 boulons fléchés sur la photo 7.
•Retirez la plaque complète avec éclairage de plaque d'immatriculation comme indiqué sur la photo
8.

Assemblage de support de plaque
•Pour assembler l'empennage R&G, reportez-vous au schéma de montage à la page 3.
•Utilisez la gaine thermo rétractable fournie (article 6) pour envelopper les fils de l'éclairage de
plaque d'immatriculation LA0002, un peu de savon peut aider à enfiler les connecteurs. Chauffez
l'extérieur à l'aide d'un pistolet thermique jusqu'à ce que le rétrécissement se referme autour du
fil.
•Fixer l'éclairage de plaque LA0002 (article 2) sur le support de plaque d'extrémité R&G (article 1) à
l'aide des deux écrous fournis. Fixez la protection du feu et utilisez une petite quantité de colle
pour fixer en place, cette pièce aidera à diriger le motif lumineux.
•Connecter le connecteur de plaque d'immatriculation CON14 (article 4) au câblage LA0002, en
veillant à faire correspondre les fils noirs aux fils noirs.
•Faites passer les fils à travers l'unité jusqu'au faisceau de câbles d’origine et reconnectez-vous au
connecteur comme indiqué sur la photo 9.
•Montez l'ensemble de la plaque sur l'unité de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine à l'aide des 3
boulons à tête fraisée (article 3) fournis comme indiqué sur la photo 10, enfilez les fils d'éclairage
de la plaque d'immatriculation dans la fente sous le support et dans l'unité de plaque
d'immatriculation d’origine, en veillant à ce que le fil reste dans la fente et ne se pince pas.
•Rangez le câblage pour que les fils soient soigneusement placés à l'intérieur de l'unité de plaque
d'immatriculation d’origine et remontez l'unité arrière comme avant comme indiqué sur la photo
11, si nécessaire, utilisez les attaches de câble fournies (article 5) pour enrouler le fil s'il est trop
long.
•Remontez le bloc plaque d'immatriculation sur la moto comme indiqué sur la photo 12, en veillant
à rebrancher le connecteur du bloc gris au faisceau de câblage principal.
•À ce stade, démarrez la moto et vérifiez que l'éclairage de la plaque d'immatriculation R&G
s'allume comme il se doit. Si l'éclairage échoue, échangez les connecteurs.
•Assurez-vous que tous les boulons soient réinstallés et sécurisés.
•Remontez la plaque d'immatriculation (elle peut nécessiter un perçage).
•IMPORTANT : SI VOUS INSTALLEZ UNE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION DE GRANDE
TAILLE ET LA PLACEZ LOIN VERS LE BAS SUR LE SUPPORT DE PLAQUE
D'IMMATRICULATION, IL Y A UNE FAIBLE CHANCE QUE LA PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION
FRAPPE LA ROUE ARRIÈRE SOUS L’EFFET D’UNE CHARGE LOURDE ET SUR DE GRANDES
BOSSES SUR LA ROUTE. IL EST DE VOTRE RESPONSABILITÉ DE VÉRIFIER CETTE
POSSIBILITÉ ET DE PRENDRE DES MESURES POUR L'ÉVITER. NE PAS VÉRIFIER CECI
POURRAIT ENTRAÎNER DES BLESSURES GRAVES.
•Selon les lois locales, fixez le réflecteur inclus (article 7) dans un endroit approprié.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Während Sie den original Kennzeichenhalter von unten stützen, entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben
an der Unterseite des Kennzeichenhalters hinten am Motorrad, die in Abbildung 1 mit Pfeilen
gekennzeichnet sind.
•Den original Kennzeichenhalter vom Motorrad absetzen und die graue Verbindung, die in
Abbildung 2 abgebildet ist trennen, danach die Einheit vom Motorrad entfernen.
•Entfernen Sie die zwei Torx-Schrauben vom vorderen Teil der Einheit wie in Abbildung 3
abgebildet.
•Legen Sie den original Kennzeichenhalter umgedreht auf eine saubere Fläche, um Zugang zu den
Schrauben an der Unterseite zu ermöglichen. Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, die in Abbildung 4
abgebildet sind mit einem T25 Torx-Schlüssel.
•Entfernen Sie das Verkleidungsteil an der Unterseite der Einheit, um die Verkabelung freizulegen
wie in Abbildung 5 abgebildet.
•Trennen Sie die zentrale Verbindung für die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung wie in Abbildung 6
abgebildet.

•Um die original Kennzeichenbeleuchtung abzumontieren, entfernen Sie die 3 Schrauben, die in
Abbildung 7 mit Pfeilen markiert sind.
•Entfernen Sie den Kennzeichenhalter inkl. Kennzeichenbeleuchtung wie in Abbildung 8 abgebildet.
Zusammenbau des Kennzeichenhalters
•Bitte die Zeichnung Zusammenbau auf Seite 3 als Referenz nehmen beim Zusammenbau des
R&G Kennzeichenhalters.
•Benutzen Sie den Schrumpfschlauch vom Kit (Artikel 6), um die Kabel der LA0002
Kennzeichenbeleuchtung zu schützen - etwas Spülmittel oder Seife kann helfen, die Kabel durch zu
fädeln. Den Schrumpfschlauch mit einer Heißluftpistole erwärmen, bis der Schrumpfschlauch die
Kabel ordentlich umhüllt/isoliert.
•Die LA0002 Kennzeichenbeleuchtung (Artikel 2) mit den zwei mitgelieferten Muttern vom Kit am
R&G Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1) befestigen. Fixieren Sie die Abdeckung über dem Licht und mit
etwas Sekundenkleber in Position befestigen. Die Abdeckung beeinflusst die Ausstrahlung des
Lichts.
•Die CON14 Verbindung (Artikel 4) mit den Kabeln der Beleuchtung LA0002 verbinden – hierbei die
Kabelfarben Schwarz mit Schwarz verbinden.
•Fädeln Sie die Kabel durch die Einheit bis zum original Kabelbaum und die Verbindung wieder
anschließen wie in Abbildung 9 abgebildet.
•Montieren Sie die Einheit an der original Kennzeichenhalterplatte mit den 3 Senkschrauben (Artikel
3) vom Kit wie in Abbildung 10 abgebildet. Die Kabel für die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung durch den
Schlitz unter der Halterung fädeln und in die original Kennzeichenhalterplatte einsetzen. Achten Sie
darauf, dass das Kabel in dem Schlitz bleibt und nicht zerquetscht wird.
•Die Kabel ordentlich fixieren und verstauen an der Innenseite des original Kennzeichenhalters und
die Kennzeichenhalter-Einheit wieder zusammenbauen wie in Abbildung 11 abgebildet. Die Kabel
mit den Kabelbindern vom Kit umwickeln, falls die Kabel zu lang sind.
•Montieren Sie die Kennzeichenhalter-Einheit am Motorrad wieder wie in Abbildung 12 abgebildet
und verbinden Sie unbedingt den grauen Verbinder mit dem Haupt-Kabelbaum.
•Das Motorrad anlassen und überprüfen, dass die R&G Kennzeichenbeleuchtung ordnungsgemäß
funktioniert. Falls die Beleuchtung nicht funktioniert, tauschen Sie die Verbindungen untereinander.
•Überprüfen Sie, dass alle Schrauben montiert und sicher befestigt sind.
•Montieren Sie das amtliche Kennzeichen wieder (Bohrungen im Kennzeichen evtl. notwendig).
•WICHTIG: WENN EIN GROSSES KENNZEICHEN ZU WEIT NACH UNTEN MONTIERT WIRD,
BESTEHT BEI SCHWERER LAST ODER DURCH GROSSE BODENWELLEN EIN GERINGES
RISIKO, DASS DAS KENNZEICHEN AN DAS HINTERRAD STOSSEN KANN. ES LIEGT IN
IHRER VERANTWORTUNG DIES ZU ÜBERPRÜFEN UND, WENN NOTWENDIG,
VORZUBEUGENDE MASSNAHMEN ZU ERGREIFEN. DIE NICHTBEACHTUNG DIESES
SICHERHEITSHINWEIS KANN ZU SCHWEREN VERLETZUNGEN FÜHREN.
•Entsprechend der gesetzlichen Vorschriften, den mitgelieferten Rückstrahler (Artikel 7) an die
dafür vorgesehene Stelle anbringen.
•Kontrollieren Sie die komplette Beleuchtung bevor Sie mit dem Motorrad fahren.
