FITTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR LP0307BK LICENCE PLATE BRACKET

SOME PARTS MAY BE SHOWN FOR CLARITY OF INSTRUCTIONS ONLY.
DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL YOU ARE SURE ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING.

HAVE FITTED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WAY THE KIT IS PACKED DOES NOT NECESSARILY REPRESENT THE WAY OF
MOUNTING TO THE BIKE.
IN THE EVENT OF RUBBER WASHERS BEING USED TO HOLD COMPONENTS ONTO BOLTS,
THESE RUBBER WASHERS CAN BE THROWN AWAY.

TOOLS REQUIRED
•Heat gun
•Hex key set to include 4, 5 & 6mm a/f sizes.
•Small flat head screwdriver
•Socket set to include 6 & 8mm sockets and
wrench.
•Phillips screwdriver.
•Small amount of superglue.
GENERAL TORQUE SETTINGS
M4 BOLT = 8Nm
M5 BOLT = 12Nm
M6 BOLT = 15Nm
M8 BOLT = 20Nm
M10 BOLT = 40Nm
M12 BOLT = 40Nm

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•While supporting the OEM licence plate unit from below, remove the four bolts on the underside of
the tail unit at the rear of the bike arrowed in picture 1.
•Carefully lower the OEM licence plate unit away from the bike and disconnect the grey connector
shown in picture 2 and remove the unit from the bike.
•Remove the two torx bolts from the front section of the unit as shown in picture 3.
•On a clean surface place the OEM licence plate unit upside down so the underside bolts can be
accessed. Remove the four bolts shown in Picture 4using a T25 Torx tool.
•Remove the underside panel of the unit to expose the wiring as shown in picture 5.
•Disconnect the central licence plate light connector as arrowed in picture 6.
•To remove the OEM back plate assembly, remove the 3 bolts arrowed in picture 7.
•Remove the plate complete with licence plate light as shown in picture 8.
