FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•Remove the panniers and luggage rack (the method will vary depending on the manufacturer).
•Remove the passenger seat using the key as arrowed in picture 1.
•Remove the two bolts arrowed in picture 2 and remove the rider’s seat.
•Remove the five bolts arrowed in picture 3.
•Remove the four luggage spacers as shown in pictures 4 and 5.
•Remove the six bolts arrowed in pictures 6 and 7.
•Remove the three bolts arrowed in picture 8 and remove the infill panel.
•Remove the three bolts arrowed in picture 9 and remove the infill panel.
•Remove the two push rivets arrowed in pictures 10 and 11.
•Gently and carefully spread the seat cowling and push in the direction of arrows as shown in
picture 12 to remove the seat cowl.
•Remove the four plug sockets arrowed in picture 13.
•Remove the two nuts arrowed in picture 14.
•Remove the four bolts arrowed in picture 15 and remove the original rear light/licence plate
bracket.
•Remove the three bolts arrowed in pictures 16 and 17, then remove the original metal
bracket from the assembly.
•Remove the four bolts arrowed in pictures 18 and 19, then remove the wiring cover from the
assembly.
•Remove the four bolts arrowed in picture 20, then remove the cover panel.
•Remove the rear light and bracket (you will need to remove several cable ties to free the
wiring).
If reusing the original indicators
•Remove the spreader plate as shown in picture 21 and carefully squeeze the indicator stalk
and remove the indicator from the bracket, then repeat for the remaining indicator (please note
which side they were removed from.
•Place the thin indicator adaptor (item 10) onto both indicator stalks as shown in pictures 22
and 23.
•Gently squeeze the indicator stalk and fit to the new licence plate bracket (item 1) and secure
as original with the spreader plate as shown in picture 24.
•Fit the remaining indicator as above.
If using R&G mini indicators
•If using mini indicators, fit the indicators of choice to the new licence plate bracket (item 1)
(R&G mini indicator product code RG371 for LED type or RG372 for Aero Style led type) as
shown in pictures 25 and 26 using the four mini indicator adaptors (items 11).
•Secure the mini indictors in position using the M8 nut provided as shown in picture 26.
•Feed the indicator wiring through one of the nut/wire covers (item 12) as shown in pictures
27 and 28 (it helps if a small amount of liquid detergent is used) and position the nut cover
over the nut (repeat the above for the opposite indicator).
•Fit one length of heat-shrink (item 16) over each the of indicator wires so the heat-shrink fits
over the stem of the nut/wire cover and gently heat until the heat-shrink contracts to the wiring
and nut/wire cover as shown in pictures 28.

To continue
•Feed the wires of the new R&G licence plate illuminator (item 14) through the central hole in
the new licence plate bracket (item 1) as shown in pictures 29 and 30.
•Secure using the washers and nuts supplied as shown in picture 30.
•Fit one length of heat-shrink (item 16) to the wires and heat gently to shrink to fit.
•Fit the light shroud and use a small amount of adhesive to hold it in position as shown in
picture 31.
•Place the licence plate support bracket (item 6) under the licence plate bracket (item 1) as
shown below and secure in position using the bolt, nut and washer (items 7, 8 and 9).
•Please ensure the wiring and wiring covers are neat and tidy using the supplied clips and cable
ties (items 17 and 19) as shown in picture 32.
•Offer the entire assembly up to the motorcycle and secure in position using the four M6 bolts
with washers (items 2 and 3).
•Refit the rear light and bracket as original using the two shorter M5 bolts and washers (items 4
and 5) through the rear two holes in the new licence plate bracket as shown below, refit the
two original nuts.

•Reconnect the rear light plug socket, connect the licence plate illuminator using the supplied
connector (item 18), reconnect the indicators (if using mini’s use the supplied connectors
(items 13) as original to the wiring loom.
•It is a good idea to check the operation of all lights at this stage, if the indicators or licence
plate illuminator fail to function, please swap the connectors over.
•Refit the seat cowl and seats as original.
•Refit the panniers and luggage rack (the method will vary depending on the manufacturer).
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN
ON THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE
HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE
ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE
AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
•Refit the seat unit and licence plate (it may require drilling).
•Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector (item 15) in an appropriate location.
•Please test the indicators, rear light and licence plate illuminator before riding.

The catalogue description and any exhibition of samples are only broad indications of the Products and R&G may make design
changes which do not diminish their performance or visual appeal and supplying them in such state shall conform to the order. The
Buyer acknowledges no representation or warranty (other than as to title) has been given or will apply to the Products other than
those in R&G’s order or confirmation and the Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality and
suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and
care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the
warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products R&G shall at its option
either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have been modified or used or
maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect
arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and
personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid
by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they
were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in
re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross
value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of
discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to
faulty goods.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Retirez les sacoches et le porte-bagages (la méthode varie selon le fabricant).
•Enlevez le siège du passager en utilisant la clé comme indiqué sur la photo 1.
•Retirez les deux boulons marqués d’une flèche sur la photo 2 et retirez la selle du pilote.
•Retirez les cinq boulons fléchés sur la photo 3.
•Retirez les quatre entretoises de bagage comme indiqué sur les photos 4 et 5.
•Retirez les six boulons fléchés sur les photos 6 et 7.
•Retirez les trois boulons marqués d'une flèche sur la photo 8 et retirez le panneau de interne.
•Retirez les trois boulons fléchés sur la photo 9 et retirez le panneau interne.
•Retirez les deux rivets repérés par une flèche sur les photos 10 et 11.
•Écartez doucement et soigneusement le capot du siège et poussez dans le sens des flèches
comme indiqué sur la photo 12 pour retirer le capot.
•Retirez les quatre prises femelles fléchées sur la photo 13.
•Retirez les deux écrous marqués d’une flèche sur la photo 14.
•Retirez les quatre boulons fléchés sur la photo 15 et retirez le support de feu arrière / plaque
d'immatriculation d'origine.
•Retirez les trois boulons marqués d'une flèche sur les photos 16 et 17, puis retirez le support en
métal d'origine de l'ensemble.
•Retirez les quatre boulons marqués d'une flèche sur les photos 18 et 19, puis retirez le
couvercle de câblage de l'ensemble.
•Retirez les quatre boulons fléchés sur la photo 20, puis retirez le panneau de protection.
•Enlevez le feu arrière et le support (vous devrez enlever plusieurs serre-câbles pour libérer le
câblage).
Si vous réutilisez les clignotants d’origine
•Enlevez la plaque de l'épandeur comme indiqué sur la photo 21, pressez délicatement le levier
du clignotant et retirez-le du support, puis répétez l'opération pour le dernier clignotant
(veuillez noter de quel côté ils ont été retirés.
•Placez l’adaptateur de clignotant fin (article 10) sur les deux tiges de clignotant, comme indiqué
sur les photos 22 et 23.
•Appuyez doucement sur la tige du clignotant et fixez-le sur le nouveau support de plaque
d'immatriculation (article 1), puis fixez comme à l’origine avec la plaque d'écartement, comme
indiqué sur la photo 24.
•Ajustez le clignotant restant comme ci-dessus.
Si vous utilisez les mini clignotants R&G
•Si vous utilisez des mini-clignotants, installez ceux de votre choix sur le nouveau support de
plaque d'immatriculation (article 1) (code de produit du mini-clignotant R&G RG371 pour le
type LED ou RG372 pour le type Led latérale), comme indiqué sur les photos 25 et 26 à l'aide
des quatre mini adaptateurs de clignotants (articles 11).
•Fixez les mini-clignotants en place à l’aide de l’écrou M8 fourni, comme indiqué sur la photo 26.
•Faites passer le fil de clignotant dans l’un des cache-écrous / cache-fil (article 12) comme
indiqué sur les photos 27 et 28 (cela aide si vous utilisez une petite quantité de détergent
liquide) et placez le cache-écrou sur l’écrou de clignotant opposé).
•Installez une longueur de thermo rétractable (article 16) sur les fils de chaque clignotant de
manière à ce que la thermo rétractable s'ajuste sur la tige du cache-écrou / fil et chauffez

doucement jusqu'à ce que le thermo rétractable se contracte sur le câblage et cache-écrou / fil
sur les photos 28.
Suite
•Faites passer les fils du nouveau feu de plaque d'immatriculation R&G (article 14) dans le trou
central du nouveau support de plaque d'immatriculation (article 1), comme indiqué sur les
photos 29 et 30.
•Fixez à l’aide des rondelles et de l’écrou fournis, comme indiqué sur la photo 30.
•Placez une longueur de thermo rétractable (article 16) sur les fils et chauffez doucement pour le
rétrécir.
•Placez le linceul de feu et utilisez une petite quantité d’adhésif pour le maintenir en place,
comme indiqué sur la photo 31.
•Placez le support de plaque d'immatriculation (article 6) sous le support de plaque
d'immatriculation (article 1) comme illustré ci-dessous et fixez-le en place à l'aide du boulon, de
l'écrou et de la rondelle (articles 7, 8 et 9).
•Assurez-vous que le câblage et les capots de câblage soient bien rangés à l'aide des clips et des
attaches de câble fournis (articles 17 et 19), comme indiqué sur la photo 32.
•Présentez le montage complet sur la moto et fixez-le à l'aide des 4 boulons M6 à rondelles
(articles 2 et 3).
•Remontez le feu arrière et le support comme à l'origine en utilisant les deux boulons M5 plus
courts et les rondelles (articles 4 et 5) à travers les deux trous arrière du nouveau support de
plaque d'immatriculation, comme indiqué ci-dessous, replacez les deux écrous d'origine.

•Rebranchez la prise du feu arrière, connectez le feu de plaque d’immatriculation à l’aide du
connecteur fourni (article 18), rebranchez les clignotants (si vous utilisez un mini-connecteur,
utilisez les connecteurs fournis (articles 13) comme à l’origine avec le faisceau de câblage.
•Il est judicieux de vérifier le fonctionnement de tous les feux à ce stade. Si les clignotants ou le
feu de plaque d'immatriculation ne fonctionnent pas, veuillez permuter les connecteurs.
•Reposer le capot et les sièges d'origine.
•IMPORTANT: SI VOUS INSTALLEZ UNE PLAQUE DE LICENCE DE PLEINE TAILLE ET QUE
VOUS LA POSITIONNEZ TROP BASSE, IL Y A DES RISQUES QUE LA PLAQUE TOUCHE LE
PNEU ARRIÈRE LORS DU FRANCHISSEMENT DES RALENTISSEURS. IL EST DE VOTRE
RESPONSABILITÉ DE VÉRIFIER CETTE POSSIBILITÉ ET DE FAIRE EN SORTE
D’ÉMPÊCHER CELA. LE NON-RESPECT DE CETTE MESURE POURRAIT ENTRAÎNER DES
BLESSURES GRAVES.
•Remettez en place le siège et la plaque d'immatriculation (cela peut nécessiter un perçage).
•Selon les lois locales, fixez le réflecteur fourni (article 15) à un endroit approprié.
•Veuillez tester les clignotants, le feu arrière et le feu de plaque d'immatriculation avant de
prendre la route.
