Model G & F1 - Open Standard (Spray) Upright
and Pendent Sprinklers
Models G and F1 standard upright and pendent
sprinklers distribute water laterally and downward in a
wide pattern approximating a half sphere. This
hemisphere is completely and uniformly filled with water
in the form of small drops and spray. A circular area, from
12 to about 20 ft. (3.7 to 6.1m) in diameter, is covered 10
ft. (3.0m) below the sprinkler at minimum water discharge
pressure. See Technical Bulletins 110 and 117.

Model G & F1 - Conventional Open Style Sprinkler
This deflector configuration is used primarily in those
countries where the LPC installation rules have
precedence. The sprinkler distributes approximately 60%
of its water discharge upward against the ceiling with the
balance downward. It may be installed in either the upright
or pendent position. Sprinklers with conventional
deflectors are available with orifice sizes corresponding to
light, ordinary and extra–hazard installations.
See Technical Bulletins 110 and 117.
Model G & F1 - Open Sidewall Sprinklers
This deflector configuration is designed for use where
standard sprinklers are deemed impartial because of
decorative or structural conditions. It discharges
approximately 15% of the water on the wall behind it with
the remaining 85% discharged in front of the sprinkler.
The Model G & F1 Vertical Sidewall Sprinklers may be
installed in either the upright or the pendent position, and
are intended for light hazard occupancy use.
The Model G & F1 Horizontal Sidewall Sprinklers are
intended for light hazard occupancies and in some
applications may be used in ordinary hazard
occupancies.
See Technical Bulletins 112 and 117.
