Note: If you experience any communication errors, a powered USB Hub may be required.
During downtime, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to leave the printer powered ON to allow the Ricoh Automatic
Maintenance Utilities to keep the print head nozzles clear. The Ricoh GELJET has been engineered to perform
automatic maintenance at various times in an effort to keep the print head nozzles in top condition. If this mainte-
nance cannot be automatically performed, it is possible that the nozzles may suffer permanent effects. As a result,
head cleanings may be unable to restore the print head to optimal operation.

Before you begin, you will need to verify your version of Mac OS. This is important when deciding
which driver to download.You should only download drivers which are compatible with your version
of Mac OS.
1.) To check the version of your Mac OS, rst click the Apple icon in the top left corner of your desktop.
Then scroll down and click About This Mac. The following window containing the version number should
appear (see FIGURE 1). The below example is running Version 10.6.4. Please note your version
number and remember to only download those utilities which correspond with your version of Mac OS.

The following instructions will demonstrate how to install the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver on computers
running Mac OS X.
1.) Before installing the MacProle, you will need to install the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver. First, access the
Ricoh website by entering www.ricoh.com in the address eld of your web browser. Once there, click the
Downloads tab (see FIGURE 1).
2.) Select your local website (see FIGURE 2).

3.) Enter the model number of your printer in the search eld and click Search. Then, click the link for your
printer model under Driver in the results eld (see FIGURE 3).

4.) To proceed, read the Ricoh Software License Agreement. If you agree with the terms of the agreement,
click I Agree (see FIGURE 4).

6.) Finally, locate the RPCS Raster Driver for your operating system and click the Download Icon (see
FIGURE 6). The Ricoh (OEM) printer driver should now begin downloading to your computer.

5.) Clicking I Agree will open the following web page. Locate and click the link that corresponds with your
Operating System (see FIGURE 5).

7.) Once the driver download has completed, click the download icon in the bottom right corner of your
desktop (see FIGURE 7 > 1). Next, double-click the r53405L4.dmg le (see FIGURE 7 > 2). The
Ricoh_AcioSG3110DN window should now appear (see FIGURE 8). Finally, double-click the Ricoh_
AcioSG3110DN icon to begin the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver installation process (see FIGURE 8 > 3).

8.) Click Continue to allow the program to determine if the software can be installed (see FIGURE 9).

9.) In the Introduction window, click Continue (see FIGURE 10).

10.) In the License window, read the terms of the Software License Agreement and click Continue when
nished (see FIGURE 11).

11.) If you agree with the terms of the Software License Agreement, click Agree (see FIGURE 12).
12.) Select the disk where you want to install the driver and click Continue (see FIGURE 13).

13.) Click Install to place the driver in the standard folder location (see FIGURE 14). To install the driver in a
different folder, click Change Install Location and browse to the desired folder.

Congratulations! The Ricoh (OEM) printer driver has successfully been installed. Please proceed to the
SubliJet-R Ricoh SG 3110DN MacProle Installation section.
14.) Once installation has completed successfully, click Close to nish installing the software (see
FIGURE 15).

1.) First, access the Sawgrass website by entering www.sawgrassink.com in the address eld of your web
browser. Once there, highlight Technical Support > SubliJet-R > Ricoh SG 3110DN, and highlight and
click PowerDrivers & MacProles (see FIGURE 1)

2.) Under MacProles: Ricoh Platforms, click the link for your printer (see FIGURE 2).

4.) Click Continue to allow the program to determine if the software can be installed (see FIGURE 5).

(see FIGURE 3 > 1). Next, double-click the SubliJet-R GX e7700N.dmg le (see FIGURE 3 > 2). The
Sawgrass Installer window should now appear (see FIGURE 4). Finally, double-click the SubliJet-R GX
e7700N.pkg le to begin the installation process (see FIGURE 4 > 3).

5.) In the Introduction window, click Continue (see FIGURE 6).

6.) In the Read Me window, read the description of the two proles being installed and click Continue when
nished (see FIGURE 7).

7.) In the License window, read the terms of the Software License Agreement and click Continue when
nished (see FIGURE 8).

9.) Click Open if you receive the following window (see FIGURE 10).

10.) You will use the Product ID to register your product. The Product ID is located in the MacProle
Registration window (see FIGURE 6). The easiest and fastest way to obtain a Registration Code 24/7
is by clicking the Obtain Registration Code button also located in the MacProle Registration window.
Follow the on-screen instructions to receive a Registration Code via an automatic E-mail.
If you have difficulties with the e-mail option or if the computer being used is not connected to the
Internet, note the Product ID and call [phone], Option 1 or e-mail [e-mail].
Registration codes via phone or direct e-mail are provided 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday - Friday.
Note: You must have a separate Registration Code for every machine on which the MacProfile
is installed.
11.) The following instructions will show how to register Online. Note the Product ID as this will be required
during the registration process and click Get Registration Code (see FIGURE 11).

12.) On the Product Registration web page, ll in the required information and click Submit when complete
(see FIGURE 12). Your Registration Code will now be sent to the e-mail address used during registration.

13.) Once you have received the Registration Code, enter it into the Registration Code eld and click Apply
Registration Code (see FIGURE 13).

14.) You should receive the following window informing you that registration completed successfully (see
FIGURE 14). Click OK to continue.

15.) Select the disk where you want to install the MacProle and click Continue (see FIGURE 15).

16.) You should receive the following window informing you that installation has completed successfully. Click
Close to nalize installation of the MacProle (see FIGURE 16).
