INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing our “Rohnson”Stand Fan. Each unit has been
manufactured to ensure safety, reliability, and ease of use. Before use, please read
these instructions carefully and save them for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using any electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
●During the use of an Electrical Appliance, a personal monitor on the Appliance
is necessary.
●This Appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
●Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the Appliance.
●Do not use this Appliance near a hot gas electric burner or heated
electrical appliance.
●Do not use this Appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other
vessels containing water.
●Never immerse cord, plug, or the appliance in water or any other liquid.
●Ensure voltage used corresponds with the voltage indicated.
●Turn the speed control to select speeds: 0(off) and speeds I, II, III are Low, Middle & High.
●The fan can operate in oscillation or stationary mode. Press the Oscillation Knob down to
activate the oscillating mode. To stop oscillation, pull the knob upward. To adjust the tilt of
the fan, grasp the fan motor housing and gently push forward or backward. The fan head
adjusts into three positions.
●Never touch the blades with your hand or any other object!
●Do not pull the cord too tight. If it becomes damaged after prolonged use, get it repaired
by a technician.
●To clean: Disconnect the power cord from the socket. Remove the guard and the blades
carefully. Do not drop the blades! First use a soft cloth with light soap to clean off oil stains.
Then wipe dry and polish with a dry cloth. Never use polish or any corrosive liquid that will
damage the paint, metal or plastic! Put back the blades and lock the guard securely before
use.
●Never insert your fingers, pencils, or other objects through the fan grille during operation.
●The fan should be used on a stable and level surface. Do not operate without the grille
being properly in place.
●Do not expose the fan to excessive heat or humidity. This could cause damage to the
electrical components.
●Do not operate this or any appliance with a damaged cord, if the unit malfunctions or if it
has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Connect to properly polarized outlets only.
●We do not recommend the use of an extension cord. It could overheat and cause a fire
hazard.
●Unplug the fan before cleaning or making repairs. NOTE: If for any reason this unit
requires service, return appliance to manufacturer or a similarly qualified service agent to
ensure safety.
