t e internal components of t e scooter (If the scooter needs to be cleaned, use a
mild detergent and warm water with a damp sponge or cloth. DO NOT throw water
over the scoote or use a hose or pressure washer).
Product Stability
Scooters and powered w eelc airs are designed to allow t e user flexibility of
movement in restricted areas. Driving at maximum speed and attempting s arp
turns can create a situation w ere t e product becomes unstable. T erefore it is
essential t at t e user pay attention t e guidance set out in t is manual.
For maximum stability the speed setting should be set up to 50% of the
maximum available (halfway between the tortoise and the hare or just
entering the red sector on the speed indicator depending on the model).
T e main factors affecting stability are:
• Maximum speed setting

c arge status of t e batteries in your scooter.
T e circuitry also detects c anges in power draw from t e batteries.
If you scooter is left switc ed on wit out use for about five minutes t e
electronics will go into ‘sleep’ mode to conserve power. You will see one bar on
t e battery status indicator oscillate from side to side. Simply switc ing t e
scooter off and back on will enable t e scooter to operate as normal.
Constant Speed Use
As t e circuitry senses c anges in power draw it is possible t at on journeys
w ere your speed is constant for an extended period of time t at you will see
t e single bar oscillate even t oug t e scooter is in motion. T is is due to t e
prolonged period of no c ange in power draw.
T is is perfectly normal and by simply adjusting your speed for a moment will
c ange t e battery status indicator back to normal.
Gearbox Breather Cap
T e Cadiz as a breat er cap fitted to t e gearbox. T is is NOT a grease nipple
and s ould never be used to attempt to lubricate t e gearbox. For s ipping
purposes, t e cap is closed.
Before t e scooter is commissioned for use, t e cap s ould be opened. Failure
to do so could result in an excessive pressure build up wit in t e gearbox and
damage may occur to t e motor.
Please see images below:
Driving in Pedestrian Areas
As mentioned previously, w en using t e scooter in pedestrian areas always
lower your maximum speed to t at of t e pedestrians around you. Remember
