Lesen Sie erst alle Hinweise, bevor Sie das Gerät in
Betrieb nehmen.
oDieses Gerät kann von Personen mit

oZuleitung, Stecker und Grill niemals ins Wasser
tauchen, sondern nur mit einem feuchten Lappen
abwischen.
oNur dreipolige Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
oZum Reinigen des Gerätes den Netzstecker immer
ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
oDen Grill niemals benützen wenn Kabel oder
Stecker defekt sind.
oBei einen Defekt das Gerät nie selbst reparieren,
sondern an eine Servicestelle senden.

•INBETRIEBNAHME DES GERÄTES
oVor dem erstmaligen Benutzen des Sandwichgrills die beiden Platten mit einem
feuchten Lappen abwischen und gut abtrocknen. Danach die Platten mit etwas Öl,
Fett oder Butter einreiben.
•VORBEREITUNG DER SANDWICHES ZU TOASTEN.
oSpezielles Toastbrot verwenden
oJe nach Wunsch beide Hälften mit Butter bestreichen.
oAufschnitt, Käsescheiben oder Früchte auf die eine Scheibe legen und mit der andern
Scheibe decken. Darauf achten, dass die Einlagen nicht über den Brotrand
herausstehen und dass die Füllung in der Mitte des Sandwiches nicht zu dick ist.
•HERSTELLEN VON TOASTS
oGrill schliessen und Stecker einstecken. Die rote Lampe (POWER ON) und die grüne
Lampe (READY) leuchten.
oSobald die grüne Lampe erlischt ist, ist die richtige Temperatur erreicht.
oGrill öffnen und Sandwich einlegen. Grill vorsichtig schliessen bis die Klemme
einrastet.
oBeim Toasten werden die beiden Sandwiches in zwei dreieckige Stücke mit
verschweissten Rändern geteilt.
o-Nach ca. 3 Minuten sind die Toasts fertig und die grüne Lampe leuchtet wieder. Grill
öffnen und die fertigen Toasts mit einem Holz- oder Kunststoffspachtel herausheben.
Achtung keine Metallgegenstände verwenden, da solche die Antihaftbeschichtung
beschädigen können.
oNach dem Gebrauch - Netzstecker des Gerätes unbedingt ziehen.
•REINIGEN
oZum Reinigen des Gerätes immer den Netzstecker ziehen und Gerät abkühlen lassen.
oDie Platten nur mit Haushaltspapier oder einem trockenen Lappen ausreiben.
oNiemals scheuernde Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Gehäuse mit einem feuchten
Lappen abwischen.

oZur ordnungsgemässen Entsorgung geben Sie das Gerät bitte an einen Händler, den
Kundendienst oder Rotel AG zurück.
oDie Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) legt fest,
dass Haushaltsgeräte nicht mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden dürfen.
Altgeräte sind getrennt zu sammeln, um einerseits Wiederverwertung und Recycling
zu optimieren und andererseits potenzielle Gesundheits- und Umweltgefahren zu
verhindern. Die durchgestrichene Mülltonne erscheint auf allen Produkten, um die
Besitzer an ihre Verpflichtung zur Mülltrennung zu erinnern. Für weitere
Informationen zur fachgerechten Entsorgung von Haushaltsgeräten setzen Sie sich
bitte mit ihren lokalen Behörden oder dem Händler in Verbindung.

l’eau, mais les essuyer uniquement avec un
torchon humide.
oUtiliser uniquement des rallonges à trois pôles.
oLors du nettoyage de l’appareil, n’oubliez pas de
retirer la prise secteur et laissez refroidir l’appareil.
oNe jamais utiliser le grill lorsque le câble ou la prise
sont défectueux.
oEn cas de panne, ne jamais réparer l’appareil soi-
même, mais l’envoyer dans un atelier de
réparation.

•MISE EN SERVICE DE L’APPAREIL
oAvant d’utiliser le Sandwich Toaster pour la première fois, essuyer les deux plaques
avec un torchon humide et bien sécher. Enduire ensuite les plaques avec un peu
d’huile, de graisse ou de beurre.
•PRÉPARATION DES SANDWICHES À GRILLER
oUtiliser du pain toast spécial.
oSelon les désirs, enduire les deux moitiés de beurre.
oDisposer la charcuterie, les tranches de fromage ou les fruits sur une tranche et
recouvrir avec l’autre tranche. Prendre soin à ce que les adjonctions ne dépassent
pas le bord du pain et à ce qu’elles ne soient pas trop épaisses au centre du sandwich.
•PRÉPARATIONS DES TOASTS
oFermer le grill et fixer la prise. La lampe rouge (POWER ON) et la lampe verte (READY)
s’allument.
oDès que la lampe verte s’éteint, la température correcte est atteinte.
oOuvrir le grill et introduire le sandwich. Fermer le grill avec précaution jusqu’à ce que
la fermeture se verrouille.
oDurant l’opération, les deux sandwiches sont partagés en deux parts triangulaires
avec bords soudés.
oAprès 3 minutes environ, les toasts sont prêts et la lampe verte s’allume de nouveau.
Ouvrir le grill et extraire les toasts terminés avec une spatule de bois ou de plastique.
Attention, ne pas utiliser des objets métalliques, ces derniers pouvant endommager
la couche anti-adhérante.
oAprès utilisation - retirer impérativement la prise secteur de l’appareil.
•NETTOYAGE
oN’oubliez pas de retirer la prise secteur et laissez refroidir l’appareil avant de
procéder au nettoyage.
oNe frotter les plaques qu’avec du papier de ménage ou un torchon sec.
oNe jamais utiliser de détergents abrasifs. Essuyer le boîtier avec un torchon humide.

•ÉLIMINATION
oPour une élimination dans les règles de l’art, veuillez remettre l’appareil à un
revendeur, un responsable du service après-vente ou Rotel SA.
oSelon la directive européenne 2012/19/UE relative aux déchets d’équipements
électriques et électroniques (DEEE), les appareils électroménagers ne doivent pas
être éliminés avec les déchets solides urbains normaux. Les appareils hors d’usage
doivent être collectés séparément pour optimiser le coût de réutilisation et de
recyclage des matériaux contenus dans la machine tout en évitant les risques
potentiels pour la santé publique et l’environnement. Le symbole de poubelle barrée
figure sur tous les produits pour rappeler à leur propriétaire les obligations de tri
sélectif des déchets. Pour de plus amples informations sur la mise au rebut correcte
des appareils électroménagers, les consommateurs sont invités à contacter les
autorités locales ou vendeurs d’électroménagers.

d’alimentazione, la spina né il tostapane. Vanno
puliti passandoli con un panno umido.
oUtilizzare esclusivamente prolunghe a tre poli.
oPrima di pulire l’apparecchio, staccare sempre la
spina e lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio
oNon usare mai il tostapane se il cavo o la spina sono
difettosi
oIn caso di guasto, non cercare mai di riparare
l’apparecchio da soli. L’apparecchio guasto deve
essere spedito a un centro del servizio
dopovendita.

•MESSA IN FUNZIONE DELL’APPARECCHIO
oPrima di mettere in funzione per la prima volta l’apparecchio, passare le due piastre
con un panno umido e lasciarle asciugare bene. Successivamente ungere le piastre
con un po’ di olio, grasso o burro.
•PREPARAZIONE DEI SANDWICH DA TOSTARE.
oUsare lo speciale pane da toast
oSe si preferisce, spalmare di burro le due fette di pane
oMettere del formaggio, dei salumi o della frutta su una delle fette e coprire il tutto
con l’altra fetta. Controllare che la farcitura non sporga oltre i bordi del pane e non
sia troppo spessa al centro.
•COTTURA DEI TOAST
oChiudere il tostapane e inserire la spina nella presa di corrente. Si accende la spia
rossa (POWER ON) e la spia verde (READY).
oNon appena la spia verde si spegne, significa che è stata raggiunta la temperatura
giusta
oAprire il tostapane e inserire i sandwich. Chiudere delicatamente il tostapane, fino a
far scattare la chiusura.
oDurante la cottura i due sandwich vengono divisi in due toast triangolari, con i bordi
saldati.
oDopo circa 3 minuti, i toast sono pronti e si accende la spia verde. Aprire il tostapane
e sollevare i toast con una spatola di legno o di plastica. Attenzione: non usare utensili
metallici, perché potrebbero danneggiare il rivestimento antiadesivo.
oDopo l’uso - ricordarsi assolutamente di staccare la spina dell’apparecchio.
•PULIZIA
oPer la pulizia, staccare sempre la spina e lasciar raffreddare l’apparecchio
oLe piastre devono essere pulite solo con carta per uso domestico o fregate con un
panno asciutto
oNon utilizzare mai detergenti abrasivi. Passare il corpo esterno dell’apparecchio con
un panno umido

•SMALTIMENTO
oPer lo smaltimento corretto, la macchina deve essere restituita al rivenditore
specializzato, al servizio di assistenza o alla ditta Rotel AG.
oLa Direttiva UE 2012/19/CE sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche
(WEEE) sancisce che gli elettrodomestici non possono essere smaltiti usando il
normale ciclo di rifiuti solidi urbani. Le apparecchiature dismesse vanno invece
raccolte separatamente al fine di ottimizzare il costo di riutilizzo e dei materiali di
riciclo che compongono la macchina, escludendo così un danno potenziale alla salute
pubblica e all’ambiente. Il simbolo del bidone su ruote barrato appare su tutti i
prodotti per ricordare ai proprietari le obbligazioni inerenti la raccolta differenziata.
I proprietari dovrebbero rivolgersi alle autorità locali o al rivenditore delle

•SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all instructions before using the device.
oThis appliance can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
oThis appliance must not be used by children. The
appliance and its connecting cable must be kept
away from children.
oThe appliance must be disconnected from the mains
during periods of no supervision and prior to
assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
oAlways pull the plug out when the appliance is not
in use.
oNever leave the sandwich toaster unattended
when it is in use.
oAvoid touching the hot plates.
oNever immerse the power cord, plug and grill in
water, simply wipe them clean with a damp cloth.

oOnly use a three phase extension cable.
oBefore cleaning the appliance, always pull the plug
out and let the appliance cool down.
oNever use the grill if the cable or plug is defective.
oIf there is a defect, never attempt to repair the
appliance yourself, instead, send it to a service
centre.

•STARTING UP THE APPLIANCE
oBefore using your sandwich grill for the first time, wipe the plates with a damp cloth
and dry them thoroughly. Next, rub a little oil, grease or butter onto the plates.
•PREPARING THE SANDWICHES TO BE TOASTED
oUse special toasting bread.
oSpread both halves with butter to your liking.
oPut a slice of ham/meat and cheese or some fruit on one slice and then cover it with
the other slice. Make sure that the filling does not hang over the edge of the sandwich
and that it is not too thick in the middle of the bread.
•MAKING TOAST
oClose the grill and plug in the appliance. The red light (POWER ON) and the green light
(READY) will light up.
oWhen the green light goes out, this means that the grill has reached the right
temperature.
oOpen the grill and put your sandwiches inside. Carefully close the grill until the clamp
latches shut.
o-As they are toasting, both sandwiches are divided into two triangular pieces with
sealed edges.
oYour toasties will be ready after approx. 3 minutes and the green light will come on
again. Open the grill and take the toasties out with a wooden or plastic spatula.
Caution: Do not use any metallic utensils because they will damage the non-stick
surface.
oAfter use - You must unplug the appliance.
•CLEANING
oBefore cleaning the appliance, always pull the plug out and let the appliance cool
down.
oOnly rub the plates with paper towels or a dry cloth.
oNever use abrasive cleaning agents. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth.

oFor proper disposal, please return device to a retailer, a service agent or Rotel AG.
oEuropean Directive 2012/19/EC concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) states that household appliances should not be disposed of using
the normal solid urban waste cycle. Exhausted appliances should be collected
separately in order to optimise the cost of re-using and recycling materials comprising
the machine, while preventing potential damage to public health and the
environment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol appears on all products to remind
owners of the obligations regarding separate waste collection. Owners should
contact their local authorities or appliance dealers for further information concerning
the correct disposal of household appliances.

We commit ourselves to repair this device free of charge, should a failure occur within the period of warranty despite proper
handling. We repair all defects caused by material or manufacturing faults. The guarantee will be fulfilled either by repairing
the device or replacing the defective parts, according to our judgement. A warranty does not cover damages due to wearing
parts, damages and defects caused by improper handling or maintenance (such as limescale and commercial use). It will only
