WARNING:
READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS. Fail-
ure to follow all instructions listed below may result in
electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS - This manual contains
important safety and operating instructions for power
source model RYi150C.
CAUTION:
This product’s AC receptacle has a non-sinusoidal out-
put and is not recommended for use with certain types
of sensitive electronics. Please refer to your product
operator’s manual.
For use with RYOBI 18 V battery packs, see tool/ap-
pliance/batterypack/chargercorrelationsupplement
987000-432.
Do not expose the power source to rain or wet condi-
tions. Water entering the power source will increase the
risk of electric shock.
Do not use the power source if it has been dropped
or received a sharp blow. A damaged power source will
increase the risk of fire.
Removethebattery pack fromthe power sourcewhen
not in use.
This product is for indoor use only.
Do not disassemble the power source.
To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is nec-
essary when an appliance is used near children.
Store power source indoors and away from children.
As with all electrical devices, use caution when plug-
ging/unplugging other devices into this unit. Do not
force plugs into this unit.
If this unit is used in a manner not specified by the
manufacturer,theprotectionprovidedbythisequipment
may be impaired.
 Do not overload the power source. It must be used for
powering devices less than the product rating.
Two- or three-prong plugs may be used with this
product. Do not force a polarized plug (one prong larger
than the other) into this product. Flip plug over and retry.
Never block air vents. Blocked vents may cause over-
heating. Power source will automatically shut off when
overheated.
Keep power source cool. Do not place near heat vents
or in direct sunlight.
Donotusethe powersource aroundflammable fumes
and gasses, such as in the bilge of a boat or near
propane tanks.
Do not put foreign objects into the power source.
Operate this product using only the AC power type
listed in the product specifications.
This unit should never be hard wired into a circuit.
Do not power life support devices or other necessary
medical equipment with this power source.
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and
use them to instruct others who may use this product. If
you loan someone this product, loan them these instruc-
tions also.

Before using battery charger, read all instructions and
cautionary markings in this manual, on battery charger,
battery, and product using battery to prevent misuse of
the products and possible injury or damage.
Do not use charger outdoors or expose to wet or
damp conditions. Water entering charger will increase
the risk of electric shock.
Do not charge a battery that is wet or has been wet
or exposed to liquids.
Useofanattachment notrecommended orsoldby the
battery charger manufacturer may result in a risk of
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. Following this
rule will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or serious
personal injury.
Do not abuse cord or charger. Never use the cord to
carry the charger. Do not pull the charger cord rather than
the plug when disconnecting from receptacle. Damage
to the cord or charger could occur and create an electric
shock hazard. If cord or charger is damaged, have the
charger replaced by an authorized serviceperson.
Make sure cord is located so that it will not be stepped
on, tripped over or otherwise subjected to damage or
stress. This will reduce the risk of accidental falls, which
could cause injury, and damage to the cord, which could
result in electric shock.
Keep cord and charger from heat to prevent damage
to housing or internal parts.
Do not let gasoline, oils, petroleum-based products,
etc. come in contact with plastic parts. They contain
chemicals that can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic.
Anextensioncordshouldnotbeusedunless absolutely
necessary. Use of improper extension cord could result
in a risk of fire and electric shock. If extension cord must
be used, make sure:
a. That pins on plug of extension cord are the same number,
size and shape as those of plug on charger.
b. That extension cord is properly wired and in good electri-
cal condition; and
c. That wire size is large enough for AC ampere rating of
charger as specified below:

NOTE: AWG = American Wire Gauge
Donotoperatechargerwith adamagedcordor plug,which
couldcauseshorting andelectricshock. If damaged,have
the charger replaced by an authorized serviceperson.
Do not operate charger if it has received a sharp blow,
been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way. Take
it to an authorized serviceperson for electrical check to
determine if the charger is in good working order.
Do not disassemble charger. Take it to an authorized ser-
viceperson when service or repair is required. Incorrect
reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
Unplug charger from outlet before attempting any main-
tenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Disconnect charger from the power supply when not in
use. This will reduce the risk of electric shock or damage
to the charger if metal items should fall into the opening.
It also will help prevent damage to the charger during a
power surge.
Risk of electric shock. Do not touch uninsulated portion
of output connector or uninsulated battery terminal.
Do not use power source in locations where the tempera-
ture is less than –4°F or more than 113°F.
Do not store or charge battery packs or charger in loca-
tions wehre the temperature is less than 50°F or more
than 100°F. Do not store outside or in vehicles.
Use only with USB chargers certified to UL1310.
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use
them to instruct others who may use this tool. If you loan
someone this tool, loan them these instructions also to
prevent misuse of the product and possible injury.
